"See you..." She said quietly to Daniel as he walked off with some meat. PsiOtaku "Hey...um... Hey!" He shouted to the woman, "Hi, I'm Rivan. I'm a new recruit...I guess. Could I get a little food?" "Of course. Help yourself." Sey said with a smile as she grabbed a disposable plate and slaped a large piece of meat on it. Handing the food to him and trying to finish cooking some of the potatoes and other veggies in a pot, Sey squeeked as some hot water splashed onto her arm, knocking her out of her meloncholy reverie. "What are we doing?" Stryphe "Skinner's fuel supply. Omi's orders. Those hungry can eat and gather up some strength for the fight to come- the rest of us should get to bothering those miners. I feel they'll prove more dangerous than the villagers." Standing up suddenly and tossing some of the veggies onto plates, Sey laid them out and slapped some meat next to them. "Alright it's done. Whoever wants it, walk with it and eat it. I'm going wherever... Wherever Stryphe's going." Not caring about how that sounded, Sey grabbed her satchel and staff and reached into her bag to get some jerkey to gnaw on. She wasn't in the mood for hot foot right now.

Hakan followed. He'd already eaten, after all, not that he'd tell them. And blowing things up sounded appealing.

"Like I said," Flare shrugged, apparently they were all chewing too loud to listen. She grabbed a chunk of meat, roasting it herself if it wasn't done.
"Those of us who are good at making flammable things explode, should think about heading there. The rest of you may wish to try to cut off the settlers from their food source, or join the shades on an expedition to some ruins. I don't know what they hope to gain there, but..." She waved a hand about in the air. It felt good to be a grunt again, she didn't have to think. Just blow things up.
She turned to address Sun's concern. "None of us are obviously shades...perhaps we could even shout something along the lines of 'For the village!' as we destroy it, for the benefits of any survivors. In any case...I'll be going. No point in dallying here any longer."
Munching on the strip of meat as she went, she followed after Stryphe.

Daniel spent a moment for the food to cool. Knife, fork, plate, he really didn't have time for that. Instead he just use part of his sleeve pulled over his hand as a oven mit, grabbing hold, and gnawing on the peice of meat. He moved while he chewed, looking around the camp, heading towards any shades that looked like they had nothing better to do. All he wanted was a few, 3, 4 at most, which around a mouthful of veggies and meat, bothered to say, "Follow me."

Raven stood behind Styrphe, remaining silent and standing in shadow. She didn't feel hungry, and she had plenty of strength. Gliding forward, she placed herself next to Stryphe, her feet barely touching the ground as she lifted herself up with her telekinesis............

Rivan got up and dusted himself off. He knew he'd was one of those Nukers that'd be attacking the Fuel Depot. "Flare, I'm all for blowing up s**t. But you'd have to consider what'll happen when we do. We'd better make sure that none of our people are on the rig when it happens" He said with a grim reluctance

"Just do your job soldier! And Flare... lets make this one fun, eh?" Daniel called out, seeing Flare, and some other stranger commenting about the fuel depot attack. He had three shades in two, two flanking, and one behind. He smiled, and gave Flare an exagerated, too big salute. A little food in the belly did a lot for the spirit.
"If you get time... I'm heading for the village. There's lots there for you to burn..." and with that last thought towards Flare, he turned on his heel, the shades following after him on the long march down the cliff.

"Stop!" Running between everyone so that they were all slightly near Sey, she looked to each of them in turn. "Before you all go your seperate ways, before I might not see you, please let me help you." Closing her eyes and holding onto her staff, Sey raised it into the sky and began to pray; her body starting to glow with a bright white light. "Bringer of Eternal Light, protect these people from harm, from sickness, from those that would seek them pain. Please guide us to victory- Falis!" With the sound akin to breaking glass, barriers began forming around every single person standing around Sey and herself - barriers made from the White Mage's very essence and that of her God. The barriers would protect from practically everything, from Physical attacks to Magical spells and Telekenetics. It lasted for a short time though... They had best make use of the blessing. "Pl..please stay safe." Sey mumbled as she stumbled and fell to her knees. What that did arrow Divine Intervention - A powerful holy barrier forms around a target, protecting said target from all the effects specified in Luminescent Shield, Barrier of the Saints, Curtain of Light, Curse Refraction & Rune Refraction. Luminescent Shield - A transparent bubble forms around the target and lessens the amount of damage a target takes from melee attacks for a duration of 15 minutes. The Shield can deflect sword slashes, thrusts and punches but unless the caster focuses her aura directly to the area of the shield that will connect with a strong physical attack, the barrier will be overpowered and broken. Barrier of the Saints - Deflects small projectiles (Non-magical arrows, knives, etc.) aimed at a target for a duration of 10 minutes till overpowered or broken. Curtain of Light - In a spray of sparks, a Barrier forms around the target and lessens the amount of damage a target takes from magic attacks and telekinesis (Magic missiles, explosions, mind blasts etc.) for a duration of 10 minutes or until overpowered and broken. Curtain of Light can not hold up against strong magic/telekinetic attacks and is dispelled after a major hit. The Shield can deflect weak spells or the aftershock of one but unless the caster focuses her aura directly to the area of the shield that will bear the brunt of a strong magical attack, the barrier will be overpowered and broken. Curse Refraction - A holy shield forms around a target, reflecting status effect causing spells/telekinetic attacks back at the caster. Curse Refraction cannot reflect area based status effect spells; only spells focused solely at the target which Curse Refraction has been cast. Curse Refraction is dispelled after a major hit from an offensive spell or telekinetic attack. Spell duration 5 minutes Rune Refraction - A holy barrier forms around a target, reflecting offensive spells and telekinetic attacks back at the caster. Rune Refraction cannot reflect area based spells; only spells focused solely at the target which Rune Refraction has been cast. Rune Refraction is dispelled after a major hit from an offensive spell or telekinetic attack. Spell duration 5 minutes

Sunstrike sighed, for the first time sounding like himself.
"Sey, c'mon, we're headed in a differant direction."
Suddenly the girl would find herself slung up onto a broad back and held securely into place.
"Everyone with a bit of energy has gone where they need to, as it is we'd probably be useless in that for the moment...we need to find another route, and another place to go."
And with that he took off towards the bleached overlook, following the others.

Smiling slightly as she was slung over Sunstrike's back, Sey closed her eyes and felt everyone she had cast a spell on - From Stryphe to Sunstrike underneath her - and she knew if they tried, the could feel her.
"Thank you Sunstrike. Yes... Let's go do that."

Stryphe darted from the town, followed closely by three Shadeknight companions who'd he'd been able to convince to unman their trivial posts within the protected town. They seemed excited to do battle.

Sunstrike wrapped the last of the bandages around his torso and sighed.
They hadn't had what he needed at the fort on the Lake, having been only set up for battle...the few medikits were, in reality, for bigger cases then his had been.
His head was starting to ache softly, the dull pounding in his ears an irritation to the extreme. It wasn't helped when a scout came by and told him of the situation. He cursed, grabbed his coat and headed off in the direction of the plains.
They needed some help, from the sounds of it.
