Hein might have had a bit of trouble reaching Veronica to speak. Counting that he had been sneaking along, there would be some distance. Depending on how fast he could run - meaning wether he was faster then a tiger - the wind would probably carry his voice away from her.
Especially since she had her head town so as to attempt to avoid getting shot were that scenerio to happen. At best she would glance at him and spur the tiger on a bit more.
Realistically though, that thing was bounding through the grass pretty fast and her focus was more on keeping the grip.To Kage - Leaving to Sunrise River If you want to keep following we need to thread change. But might want to take into account movement speed and how Shou and you started around the same area.

Pouring gas? This was bad, really bad. Mozz turned to his ally. “I don’t think we want to be here when they light that up.” Mozz stuck his hand to the ground. “I don’t think we can afford the wait around.”
It was a faint sound, like that of a breeze moving through the grass, straggling it as a small layer of mozz extended across the earth towards the jeep. Once it made it that far, it went around the car growing in a huge swell near the jeep. Quite a noticeable change really, a fluffy green ball expanding near their tire. Green fur seeming to enter from somewhere in the tall grass.

The noise of chain-saw was viscious indeed, and because his spot and been compromised, it was due time to move indeed. Of course his cloak still protect him from sight once the flash of light from his rifle had gone away. This was also accounting for the fact that the grass about him had gone down only after he had fired the gun. Shuddering at it's loudness he saw the bafoon doing a spin and gaped slightly, but quickly regained his senses and rolled to the side and into fresh grass. The chainsaw missed where he had been, after all chainsaws were not made for projectiles in such a fasion. Using his cloak for cover once more he escaped into the distance, and away.

Alan was watching the event unfold through the grass. A chainsaw toss? Well, that was just unacceptable. He couldent just let his buddy the sniper get cut in two could he? The chainsaw would whip around in mid air and head straight back to where it came from, blade first.
As that happened two knives slid out from their sheathes. They began to snake through the grass. They would make excelent invisable threats to anyone who came too close, but for now they stayed about thirty feet away from the crouching pair. "Any ideas Mozz?"

It's a shame that the jeep was part from the farthest side of the line Quin was creating and when the flames stroked up and started to ravage down that line and consume the grass the moss would burn up as well.
But things weren't going so well. So Quin wasn't going to do what needed doing. Taking one of the tanks of gass Quin doused the grass that ran towards their incoming foes.
"Well boys, times money and it sure does burn a hole in your pocket."
Lighting the fuel the flames caught and would spread rapidly time the field the grass so dry from lack of moisture.

Hein sighed as he stopped the chase and looked back. One girl probably wasn't worth getting lost over. If only he'd kept the ATV, but now was no time for hindsight. Making his way back, Hein began to pave the way with his knife, cutting through the higher grass. With one final push, he looked over to see the jeep...or rather, burning grass. Great time for them to decide to set everything ablaze. Taking a deep breath, Hein shielded his face, as he leapt over the flames and behind the jeep. Jumping on, he began to breathe deep as he spoke in slight annoyance. "Nice work...real nice. Burning the grass before we get back. The tiger girl's run off, and I haven't a clue as to any other information on her." To Elevar Nah. I'll have Hein drop pursuit due to the fact that grass is taller than he is basically.

Snipers, random people running around in the grass, and Shouyin acting the fool with the chainsaw that they could've put to good use later--Mooo wasn't having a very good day, especially since the bullet the sniper fired came a little too close to his leg.
He'd already emptied one fuel can and was working on the next, shouting out confirmations to Quin over the chaos and the noise of the engine, hurriedly pouring the fuel after he'd stamped out a portion of the grass and hopping back in.

OOC: Jak's post accepts the chainsaw landing, so I'm going to assume Alan uproots it and sends it ******** boomerangs," Shou commented as the chainsaw came flying right back at him. Frowning, he gripped the stock of the rifle in his left hand and reared his right hand back, forming a tight fist. As the 'saw came in the half-golem would meet it with a stone-fisted right straight, crushing the blade on impact. Grinning wildly, he'd take his rifle up in both hands once more, resting the buttstock against his shoulder and taking aim.
Sadly, Shade's cloak became irrelevant after the half-golem had sighted him. All it took was a quick focus of the parting grass as Shade moved, and then a focus on the sound of the plants rubbing against the cloak's fabric, and Shouyin could see the man shuffling around quite clearly.
As such, he'd take two quick shots, both at the man's back or torso before making chase once more, staying aware that there was probably another person in the area, and thus listening for movements in the grass, since chainsaws didn't fly back at people of their own accord.

Hopping into the drivers seat Quin was gunning the engine and waiting to shift into drive when he shouted for the others to get their asses onboard. Reports were coming in of an attack at the dam and according to the map they would need to head to the depot to get there.
Once everyone was aboard Quin would tell them to just spread the rest of the fuel as they drove. They would light it once they got to the edge.

Mooo tipped the can of fuel over the edge, not letting it spill any just yet, but waiting for everybody else to pile in. Once the jeep took off, Mooo intended to turn the can over and pour out as much fuel as he could in a line until Quin told him that was enough.

"Damn bullets!" The half-golem exclaimed as they missed, Shade making a more speedy retreat then he had previously judged. Shrugging, he'd spare a glance back, taking in the flaming grasses wide-eyed and however much of the jeep he could spot, rearing to go.
He was sure there was someone else lying in the grass, but he wasn't about to get caught in any kind of inferno, and as such started running backwards in the jeep's direction, only turning fully around when he judged himself close enough to the vehicle, and still chancing looks back to make sure he wasn't being followed.
Singular retreat was dangerous s**t after all. Grimacing, he'd sling the rifle over his shoulder and hop into the back of the jeep, somewhere beside Mooo, who was all prepped to douse the place a little more.

The fire was getting annoying as hell. It would not bother him much due to his suit, but his face and hands could still be burned and feel the heat. The knives flew out through the grass towards the huge thing that just took a chainsaw head to head with his fist. Alan assumed that it's arm was the only stone thing about it, therefore the knives were heading for the golem's hamstrings. The knives would easily intercept him on his way to the jeep. They were moving faster than him and they were on a perfect intercept course. Upon reaching the golem the knives would head straight for the back of his ankles and attempt to stab through them, removing the muscle from the bone and making it impossible for the man to walk or at least run.

And so they sped off into the horizon, leaving a trail of gasoline in their wake. Ready to burn at a moments notice. And who says war isn't fun?

s**t! Mozz thought as he raised his hand back, in what seemed like a dash, he raised another lump of Moss between himself and the spreading fire before getting to his feet moving as fast as he could in a crouch. As the fire hit the thin moss it would accelerate, burning faster with its Aid, the lumps however, such as the ones surrounding the jeep would explode.
Due to their size the blast wasn’t incredibly huge , though the force was that of a small explosive so the tires would be damage most likely and depending on the build of the jeep it might flip. The 2ndary wall, would disperse the grass and dirt around it, but due to the moss’s combustiary nature the fire would continue all the same.
Mozz went for a sprint, trying to take a roundabout way around the fire line. His head most likly popping out of the top of the gress as he made his mad dash. The fire was gaining though, and his heart was racing.
