((Nijemi, where are you in relation to the five archers?))

The archers had, on Shade's command, taken cover behind various rocks, watching and waiting for anyone to approach or come out of the entrance to the Dank Caves.

(( He's already gone, Owle. But I'll play with you instead ^^ ))

Hein and his soldiers moved quietly through the Northern Climb, their eyes set on the final goal, the Dank Caverns, more so than the scenic view all around them.

"Keep your guns at the ready. We're not sure what's waiting for us in the cave."

Receiving nods of consent from the men, Hein listened to the shifting of guns and the loading of weapons as he pulled out his Damascus, the blade keen and razor sharp as they began to make their unsuspecting way up to the archers.

((How many men?))

It didn't take a genius to figure out that Hein must be the leader. He was the only one not carrying a gun, and he seemed to be giving orders.

The first arrow was aimed at him, loosed at his throat.

Four other arrows soon followed, though their targets were less discriminate. They were aiming for the torsos of four of the soldiers following Hein, just hoping to hit them rather than get any sort of insta-kill.

(( 6 in total, counting Hein ))

It was a familiar sound, a sound that he found comfort in times of stress. And now it was a sound coming right at him. An arrow.

"Scatter! And then anti-group weapons!"

Hein immediatly dropped, the arrow passing by him and thudding into the ground as the other 5 men spread out. The medic wasn't of much use in their situation, and he knew it as well as he hid behind a rock. As soon as the 4 soldiers had scattered, they pulled out grenades and immediatly lobbed them at the rocks from where the arrows had come from, the pins falling to the rocks with tiny pings as the explosives...well...exploded.

"Take cover and keep your rifles and pistols ready!"

Getting up off the ground, Hein took cover behind some rocks as well, the dust from the explosion covering the area from view as he waited to see who would be left.

Whoom, whoom...

Those actually climbing the Northern Climb would begin to hear the faint sound of beating wings. Large ones.

WHOOM!

A gust that would make grown men buckle enveloped the side of the Climb as a massive, winged beast shot past Hein and his team. At the speed the great winged beast was moving it would pass over Shade and her team as well, a blurr, and up to the entrance of the dank caverns.

Grenades? ******** pretty much the orders given out when the archers realized what was happening.

The archers scattered, running for the cave entrance, in hopes of outrunning the explosives power of explosion.

The sight of a dragon overhead only served to panic them further.

"Push the archers into the cave, men!"

It was a f'ing dragon. A dragon flew over their heads. What the Hell were they fighting for Christ's sake? Putting an arrow to his bow, Hein began to run as well, his feet carrying him into the Dank Caverns.

His men looked around for a moment before stopping on Alpha 1, the only one on the team with an anti-personal, hand-held weapon: a bazooka. And immediatly, the men fell into line...behind Alpha 1. Poor sap.

Behind everything else, there were two large shapes lumbering up the trail with four shapes on their backs. Suprisingly quiet and quick were these massive mounts. Truely, they must have been the mightiest of stallio-

...bears...?

And so did said men upon bears continue their venture into said caves.

I am riding a bear. Cool beans.

((Nevermind. It's too crowded in there.))

The dragon rose high up into the air upon approaching the entrance after being given the order by Stryphe. Those caves were too crowded. Stryphe didn't like crowds much.

Stryphe was reminded of the curse put on him by Sunstrike when he went into a minor trance.

"The hell..." He shook his head, speaking to himself out loud despite the noise of beating wings with the span of nearly a football feild.

"She doesn't know when to quit!"

With that, he turned away from the Northern Climb and towards the Lakeside Ruins. His life took priority over Omikron's ambitions.

Well things looked positively ******** as Quin came closer, he saw bear tracks and wondered just how the hell they had managed to get into the cave network. Worst case senario the troops he posted were dead, which would explain the silence on the radio.

Yep, everthing was ********, but then everything seemed to be going to hell in a hand basket. Entering into the dank caverns Quin didn't know what to expect, he wasn't even going to set up a light of some sort.

Shouyin was running like a ******** -monkey-, almost on all fours as he scrambled up the side of the mountain, completely ignoring the trails in favour of bounding over obstructing boulders and swiftly scaling annoying rock faces. Apparently that whole tree-climbing stint in Lu Bu had helped with his vertical endurance, especially when one could make hand and footholds with a touch of flesh against rock.

Guitar solos went off in the warrior's head.

Following after the man Quin was driven to not be left behind. If only he had learned a finer control of the brown wind, damn wouldn't that be a surprise to any that saw him. Though he really detested all the hair and furr that would sprout on his body if he did that.
