Ugh, we had to choose? She most defintally didn't want to be the King or the Queen, so it was a good thing that Reign took the Queen's role. "I'll be the Knight. It's better than a lazy King, unless they're one of those cool kings. Ya' know, the ones that fight in battle all the time and actually defend their land." As quickly as she had stepped up, Isdra stepped off her soapbox.

"Allright. Then Papina will be the King," the old man declared. Handing each of the girls a piece of paper he stepped back as they read their parts. "I guess we'll start with the king and queen discussing their library. It's been around for a little while and has quite the store of information in it. Then we'll have our knight come in." The old man beamed. So it might be better if they knew what was going on but he didn't want his first class to fall asleep!
Queen: A gentle woman who has 'bullied' her husband into building a large library to house all the knowledge in the world. Is a Historian who protects the library. Along with the other Historians she saves the Scrolls from the fire.
King:Ruler. He's not so thrilled on the idea of bringing every bit of knowledge (even pagan) to Alexandria but goes along with his wife.
Knight:Thinks it's pretty cool to have this big library but deeply objects to storing the pagan knowledge. While he won't attack his king, he destroys the library by setting it on fire.

Awww, so apparently no dressing up. Reign read over her part a few times. Then she looked up at Dr. Smith, a bit confused. "So... uh... I'm glad you decided to build this library, King." She glanced at the old man, seeing if she was doing this right.

Papina pulled a face. She had to be King? But she wasn't male! She grumbled to herself as she peered at the piece of paper given to her. "Ummm..." She blinked at Reign and glanced at the paper. "'I'm glad you are glad, Queen. But must we have that kind of knowledge...' um..." She glanced at the paper again, forgetting the rest, "'stored within?'" She also glanced at the old man.

Isdra blinked a bit as she read the paper, glancing at Dr. Smith wanting to make sure he had written her's right. "Hmm..." Leaning back in her seat, she made herself cozy until she had to come into the speech.

Dr. Smith nodded at the girls, gesturing for them to continue.

"Why of course, my King. Everyone should have access to all knowledge." Reign seemed to be warming up to the whole thing a bit more. This was fun, though it would've been better if they'd gotten to dress up...

Papina squirmed, thinking that the King must have done so at that point. They might not have been in costume, but that didn't mean they could act it out, at least in part, right? She looked at the paper and tried to press the words of the next few lines into her mind. "'All knowledge, my dear? Some of that knowledge can be quite dangerous in the wrong hands... Sometimes it is best if that knowledge is destroyed, so it never falls into the wrong hands.'" She blinked as she thought about that. Knowledge could be bad?

As much as much as Isdra hated plays and such, she thought that if you were going to do one, it should be done well. "Ah, I must agree my dear queen. As helpful and enlighting to is to have a library full of such imformation, I must agree the King. Pagan knowledge such be sparcely know, for it could cause much destruction."

"But knowledge is knowledge. It is part of our past." Reign stopped her foot. "Everyone has the right to learn anything they want to learn about."

'The king' cleared her throat nervously. "Yes yes, my dear, I know you feel that way..." Papina snuck a look at the next few lines as she fiddled with the piece of paper in her hands like the king would likely fiddle with a ring before she continued. "But some knowledge is too dangerous to know and should never have been written down. Won't you please reconsider this... this... foolhardiness?" There was a quick, almost rehearsed glance at Isdra to see if the 'knight' would support 'him' in this.

Isdra made a bowing motion from her seat. "I apoligize, my queen, yet I must agree yet again. Letting this knowledge out would be like reveiling forbidden magic to the world. Please, I beg of you, consider the conseqences! This could, at the least, cause a war!" This was quite entertaining to her, really. She liked being this dramatic, without there being any really drama. But she did wonder if this is how it really went way back when.

Reign frowned at the 'king' and 'knight'. "I will not reconsider my decision! It is not... 'foolhardiness' to allow people to know whatever they wish to learn about." She paused and glared at the 'knight' before turning to the 'king' again. "Now, my dear. Surely you don't believe that what our dear knight says is true. You don't think that this would start a war, do you?" She asked, her voice sweeter.

"Uhhhh..." Papina said blankly, before taking another look at the piece of paper. Reign was good at acting - she'd shocked Papina into forgetting her lines for a moment there! Oh, yes. A nervous cough first... then, "'Well...'" she started weakly, "'The possiblity is there..'" Papina secretly rolled her eyes. The king was starting to cave in to the queen's decision from the sounds of it. What a baby. Did she have any lines left before Isdra's turn? A quick check... Nope. She looked at Isdra to see what the 'knight's' next move would be.

Dr. Smith coughed discreetly. "Why don't you girls get up and actuall act it out? I'm sure I could find a prop or two for you three.. Just... stay here." The old professor hurried out of the room.
