get really lonely, and then listen to it. you'll understand.
it's not the best song. it was a trash bin song
and amanda pulled it out of the trash one day
and decided to actually make it a song. So,
i guess the fan girls who only know this song
can be happy they get their taste of dresden dolls
from the trash can.

I think it's about alot of things, but mainly as much as you can try to convince yourself that you know exactly what you want, exactly what the "perfect" boy would be, in the end, he's just not the real thing. I prefer flawed and interesting to perfect and boring, myself.

I heard someplace (in other words not an official source) that Amanda was sick of everybody thinking it was about dildos when it wasn't, so she figured she'd write the idiots a song that REALLY was about masturbation -- "First Orgasm."
