This kid Houston. His dad's all rich and crap, and bought him some thousand dollar SG. So he was the bassist in my old band for a little bit, and the first day, he came up to me and went. "Just because you're the new guitarist, doesn't mean you're better than me." I looked at him and laughed. I then picked up guitar and played the intro to Bleeding Mascara. Then he shut up.

OH GOD!
There's this group at my school..
They think they're "PUNK ROCKERS."
And well they suck very bad at the insterments they play.
But just because they're cool people say that thy are pro.
Obviously those people don't know what music sounds like.
And if you happen to dissagree people yell at you and say such things as:
"What are you talking about they're the best!"
"How would you know I bet you never even picked up a guitar."
XDDD even tho I've played guitar for five years bass for two and drums for six.
Also the guy I like, is one of them..
He plays the drums...
All he ever does is solo
he cant even do that right....And HE CANNOY KEEP A BEAT!

[ Kid Vicious! ] OH GOD!
There's this group at my school..
They think they're "PUNK ROCKERS."
And well they suck very bad at the insterments they play.
But just because they're cool people say that thy are pro.

Considered the "cool crowd," they're the people who think picking up a guitar and playing the intro to Smoke on the Water makes you good. So they make a band with two "hardcore" words normally involving broken, fire, burning, weeping, or some other crap like that. People can be really stupid. :/

my friend's dad got him a pair (2!) really pretty nice acoustic guitars. apparently this qualifies him as a guitarist. he goes around, "Yeah guys, I can play some pretty cool guitar." they're both about 3 full steps out of tune, and he still doesn't know how to hold a pick.

i know a guy like that, he's 15 like me. his name is chris. back when we were both in grade 7 we both happened to take up guitar. after he found out i started he teased me ALL the time. he'd pass me in the halls and say: "you can't play steph, you'r a girl". and he saw my guitar one day, my first one was a cheap, crappy used acoustic; while he had a brand new fender electric [WAY cooler]. so he made fun of me for that too. he always said i sucked whenever he herd me play too, when i practiced at recess or during music class.then of course, you would never see him playing in front of people, he told people he broke a string every time someone asked him to play. [ALL talk and NO ACTION]. by the time he decided he was going to play infront of people, i was good enough to brag about how good i was [wich i'm totally not but...] we "jammed" together in front of a few people (about 15) AND I TOTALLY BLEW HIM AWAY! so it just goes to show you how smart alik guitarist pro wanna-bees GET TOLD! razz

Iron_Zombie my friend was all jazed that he entered this contest..then forgot how to play..and coulden't turn on his guitar *snort* he couldn't turn it on???

I've met many posers, and most of them are girls
All of the posers I've met say that they can play guitar, but they teach themselves and they can play about 5 chords. but they kee pbragging about it
ugh that's the thing that most makes me really mad

Well I do have 2 story. Happened today. Excitable Boy eat_turtle_soup Uh huh, your comparing yourself to Metallica? My music is far better than Metallica's. Let me tell you...it wasn`t very good, at all. It sounded like angry rape. And another time I was playing guitar at school and some kid said he was like the next Hendrix and he took my guitar and then played the intro to Smoke On the Water... stare

I know a kid who cant even play Smoke on the Water, and ive heard him fail, yet on the bus to a field trip a few weeks back, we were watching School of Rock, and SotW came on and he yelled he could play it.
No you cant.
You cant even play Jingle Bells.
