My advise is, " Learn the system down to its smallest elements. Then you have to be smart and USE the system thorough, around and sometimes against itself." It's the only way I can see myself going through some of societies loopholes nowadays.
I agree with you alot. in order to avoid being a slave to the system, I learn the system, and then I can live my ideals without too much trouble.

MUCHO DELAYED SECONDARY RESPONSE: As a side note, the system isn't the enemy, people. The system is more like a close friend who's an alchoholic and needs an intervention.
I love that insight, it doesn't work when you try to pit yourself agianst the system. if you put yourself outside of it and as an enemy of it, you'll hurt yourself and won't change the system

Best quote from a played out movie: "You can do more damage in the system than you can from outside of it."

Amen. Here's yet another way to say the same thing. From the movie Blade, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer."

I say ******** THE SYSTEM before it ******** you man. Sorry bout the language and the caps, but me and the system have been going at it for a long time now. Let me tell you a little secret, and I pray it never leaves Gaia land....(But I suppose it's best that my enemy knows I'm coming. They can prepare all they wish, but I will beat them nonetheless.)

I'm going to college to get my Master's degree in Political Science. Then I'm going to worm my way into the political society and take down the democracy and let people live their own lives as they see fit. Of course there will be law and order, if you kill someone, I'll tear your heart out myself. You steel, I cut off your hand. So on and so forth. But I will control no one.

Live your life how you choose. Be happy and prosper, or live in the dumps, it's all up to you. World domination...my weekend hobby. US domination...my single goal in life. (Like it's ever really gonna happen, but I like to think about how I would change the system. I would make the system help people instead of try to destroy their hearts and souls.)

Anybody wanna help me?

yeah, I'll help, I'd love to get inside and change the system, even though I don't think that the kind of anarchy you propose is impossible, and wouldn't last, there are too many people who just follow the leader, and they wouldn't live their own lives if they could.

I do think I'd like to see a system that protects your ability to live happy and free, a system that doesn't let people manipulate others and take advantage of them; that stops the violence by making it unprofitable; and that stops the suffering by making everyone learn the value of human life, and learn a desire to see all people happy.

If your wondering if these are just pipe dreams and I have no way of actually making it possible, I'll let you know that right now I'm looking for the right blend of free market competition, democracy and Marxist Ideals.

i think that the system is starting to fix itself. sure, there's a lot of craptacularness (we had to choose between bush and kerry) but cities are getting greener and people are really beginning to understand the whole spirit of the earth thing. i dunno what i'm trying to say or where i'm going with this really.

do you know about property tax?
When a single mom lives in a shack with 4 kids, and the neighborhood gets greener, and parks are built, and abandon houses are torn down and turns into nice homes, property tax goes up, rent goes up, and she gets kicked out, and she moves to another shck with her 4 kids....
its not getting better. not until it's better for everyone who's willing to work for it.
you should look into Henrey George, his therory of single tax solves the problem of poverty durring periods of prosperty, it's just a little hard to put into action. peace... (0)>s

Right, and what about the people who AREN'T willing to work for it? Those four kids are growing up in poverty, where the mentality is that there's no way out of it and that the rich people are the ones forcing them to have a dependency on welfare... How do we change THAT?
