The large lion rolled his eye's a little at her word's, she needed to stop worrying, he then stood up slowly, surprised at how little she weighed before once again starting to walk on.
His green eye's looked over the ever going land as he felt her small warm body against his back, only to smile softly.
"Your as light as a feather Shairi, you don't have to worry about getting heavy." He said, smiling up at her.

-A delicate purr rippled through her, for a moment letting her nose wriggle curiously within the soft hair of his lush mane. Finally however her eyes and ears lifted forward admiring the view from a high, speaking softly since she was so near his ears.- "You know the way yes?"

Zimwi looked up at her, only to offer a small smile her way, still padding in the direction of their next location.
"Yes, I'm actualy surprised I still remember the way." He said, chuckling softly.
He didn't know what to talk about, so he supposed the first thing that popped into his head would be good enough.
"How do you find it on my back?"

-She grinned a little gently, a soft warmth touching her face at the question. She felt so silly. Comfortable. And happy. But so very silly too.
Nodding softly at his answer, she tried to answer the best she could without giggling herself right off his back.- "It's very soft and more stable then I thought. And the view from up here is really lovely... Of course your pelt does feel a little hot. Is the sun getting to you? I actually know something to help with that when you have to travel in the hot sun."
-It was a trick she'd learned as a little one from her parents, and while it was perhaps a tad strange and icky, hopefully the benefits would outweigh the negatives she thought. Reaching forward gently she dragged her tongue delicately over his black pelt, unsoothing the hair causing it to stand, while at the same time leaving a little bit of moisture clung to his skin, and she explained softly between delicate licks as she moved her way further up his shoulders towards his mane like a dutiful mother.- "Pulling your hair up keeps the heat from getting stuck in, and the little bit of wetness lets you feel the breeze even better."
"It works best on arms and necks for some reason.. but it can feel nice anywhere I think."

Zimwi had been very calm on the journey, however as he felt a small tongue lapping at his back, his green eye's widened and he blushed immensly, whiskers twitching like his tail was.
His tail was 'twitching' because a feline couldn't wag it's tail, even though it looked like that, so right now, he was either truly embarassed because he felt like a cub, or because he was enjoying this 'intimate' moment with Shairi lapping at his back.
"Uhhh, err, ummm, you don't say?" His voice had became slightly high and squeaky, though he didn't turn to look at her, afraid his blush would be there burning away on his creamy muzzle.

-When the strange words came out, and the soft stutter she stopped momentarily, glancing at his ebony back, before once again she took up the action, stopping only when the whole length of fur before her had been covered.
A soft purr rippling, she curled her paws before her asking softly as her head came to rest against her paws and his mane.- "Does it work for lions? Are you feeling any cooler?"
-Eyes falling closed for a moment she sighed contentedly. Sure she loved to walk. But this was most definately the second best thing. Warm, comfortable.- "This is really nice.. I bet we'll be to the jungles in no time at all."

Zimwi' still didn't look back, he could feel the blush burning away at the inside of his cheeks.
However he was enjoying the attention greatly, just, well, was sort of embarassing for a nice lady like Shairi to do it.
He finally gave a soft sort of rumble of a purr vibrate his frame, moving his head slightly to the left so he could see just the edge of his travelling companion's muzzle.
And it made a smile plaster across his own.
"Yes, I'm feeling much cooler, thank you."
Indeed, he was feeling cooler.
But still a bit warm, although that might have something to do with the warm body ontop of his back, but he didn't mind.
He'd never been licked by his mother, he had to clean himself, so it felt foreign to him for this sweet female to do this for him while he gave her a lift.
"Yes...we should be there in no time."

((By the way! I meant to ask. Did you want to go for 10 rps, so we're guarenteed 2 babies atleast? Or do you just want to risk and go with 5? I don't mind he risk personally. But I also don't mind digging up more rps for Shairi. :3 ))
-Settled comfortably, Shairi lounged comfortably, not even needing to look around to feel comfortable, the soft motion below her, and scents as they traveled well-fulfilling her wanderlust.
And as they traveled her old habits picked up, a soft old lullabye touching her voice, sung barely over a whisper.-
"Thula, thula, thula, Mtwana
Thula, thula, thula, Mtwana
Ungakhali
Umama akekho
Umama uzobuya"
As her words drifted to silence after a few repetitions, she mused softly, teasing her companion, while at the same time, staving her curiousity.- "Carrying me is good practice for when you have little ones some day. You want children, yes? When you find the love you're looking for?"

((I don't mind, but if we do five RP's, since you said you already have five or six it guarantees us 1 extra baby, but I think we should risk it with five RP's for Zimwi' and ten or so with Shairi, just incase we get a big roll and if you can whack me for being risky XD))
His ear's twitched at the soft lullaby, still wandering onward's to the jungle, but, still.
The song...her voice, captivated him, sure his mother sang to his siblings and she had a nice voice, but nothing like Shairi's.
It made him smile softly, while at the time, still retaining the stunned look, as if he'd been thwapped in the face.
"Beautiful..." He muttered under his breath.
He then blinked and sped up a little as he wandered onward's and listened to her.
"Yes, I suppose...but...what will become of you?" He said, slowing down slightly before craning his head to look at her.
"If I find a love on this journey, I don't know whether I should stay with her or make her continue on our travels with you...your the closest thing I have to a best...hell...you ARE my best friend...I don't want to lose that, or you Shairi."

((Kay kay. ^ ^ Even if worse comes to worse, and we roll a 1, it's not like we couldn't breed them again in the future anyway. biggrin So we both ended up with 1))
-A soft purr escaped her at the admission, and for a long moment she was silent, before finally she settled herself forward, to let him see her without craning so hard.- "I'll be fine really. I've lived over a year by myself. It's one of the things that comes with travelling, something I've come to accept."
-And a smile touched her, trying to push away his worries.- "It wouldn't be right to make her travel, if the one you love doesn't want to. And if you found yourself stuck in one place, I'd come and visit you from time to time, as I believe that's what friends do."
-Her tail shifted softly, from being her balance, until it wrapped comfortingly about his belly. Deep down.. she hoped it'd be awhile before he found her.. As selfish as that may have seemed.-

The male raised a brow at her as she spoke, ears flattened against the cascade of black mane as he listened intently to her.
Even if by some miracle, he would fine love on this travel, he didn't want to leave Shairi.
She said they'd help each other find what they want...she wanted a travelling companion and...he was it wasn't he?
It'd be selfish to leave her, cruel even.
He nodded softly to her word's, looking forward as his brows furrowed upward's slightly.
"Yes, I suppose that would be selfish to force her to come with us...if I find her that is."
He then turned his head toward her once again and smiled softly.
"Yeah! Or I could try to visit you if your staying in the area!"
He secretly hoped he didn't find the perfect femme for a long while, he enjoyed Shairi's company and he would hate to have met her and all of a sudden have to go with another femme he didn't even know.
So hopefully the God's heard his silent hopes.
As they travelled, he realised he was still walking and looked forward, only to smile as he saw the top of the jungle canopy start to come to view on the horizon.

"It might take awhile. But I'm certain you'll find one Zimwi."
"A girl would be very lucky to have such a brave and strong hero to protect and care for her." -The words were matter of fact.. and yet, her thoughts were wistful, for one turning to the subject that had illuded her for so long. Was she looking for love? Despite the odds? If she was.. what would it look like? What would she want him to be like?
She felt the sudden urge to ask him what his female would be like. And how he'd know when he found her. But the soft sight of vibrant green and rising trees caught her attention instead. Oh well, there was plenty of time to ask later.- "Ahhhh.. just like you said! It took no time at all. We'll be ready to settle in well in time for night to fall. Maybe we can even find something to eat."

Hopefully not too soon.
He said deep within the back of his head while travelling onward's to the large cascade of vibrant green tree's and lush vegitation.
The lion enjoyed the jungle, it had much water and shade, there, one could rest and feel totaly at one with nature.
As his pink coloured female friend spoke once more, his ear's twitched slightly and he turned his head to turn and look upon her, brow arched as he smiled.
"Well, Shairi, any guy would be lucky to have you too, I mean, your probably the most sweetest female I've ever met, no lie."
His word's and face spoke true sincerity as he watched her.
The male continued on, looking at the giant tree's that lay before them and the smaller plants.
Damn, he couldn't wait to show her the star lit waterfall.
And the sound of something to eat, well, sounded great.

-A soft laugh touched her throat, both embarrassed, flattered, and amused, and she pawed gently at his mane trying to push the compliment away.- "That's a very nice thought."
-Purring softly, she watched as the jungle began to grow around them, the savannah disapearing from sight. Tail twitching ever so gently about his side and stomach, she asked thoughtfully.- "Will we be heading straight to the falls?"
-Lifting her nose to the air she tried to see if she could find the scent of a kill somewhere.. with as clumsy as leopards were with their meat. But she found nothing, and her stomach began to rumble softly.-

The large lion smiled softly at the little laugh that escaped her, how cute, it made him chuckle slightly before moving over the thicker logs while trying to keep her on.
Before moving toward's where he could remember the fall's.
Not that it was hard, even amongst the immense noises of the jungle, the sound of the rushing water.
As he approached closer, he looked up at Shairi and smiled, only to gently pad onto the smooth rocks nears the falls.
Still beautiful as ever, a large pool of sparkling water with an opening in the canopy above to show the bright blue sky and a large wall of crashing water with a small cave behind it.
He then moved toward's the waterfall before going underneath it, looking at the cave, small, but large enough for the two of them and he lowered his body.
"You can rest here, I'll go find us some food."
