Okay, Prey is officially the coolest FPS in a looooong while. It's trippy as ******** with all the random boxes that have rifts in space inside, and all the gravity changes going on. ******** insane. And the weapons are wonderful in all their organic beauty. Nades=Spiders whose legs you rip off and throw.

oh, a movie I did want to discuss was one I finally got the chance to see on dvd. Chicken little. I didn't think much of seeing it in theatres because of all the hype surrounding it...but it was surprisingly well done. short, sweet, funny and straight to the point. definately worth checking out if Finding Nemo caught your attention in anyway. plus, all the pop culture references in it are out of control. definately worth watching it just to see what they pay homage to in the movie, form raiders of the lost ark to war of the worlds and quite a bit in between.

Picked up a used copy of Naruto: Clash of the Ninja today. I can see why it was returned.
The game itself is kind of fun, but only in a sense of "get your friends to come over so you can bash each other" way. Story-mode is laughable (all Naruto fights up through the Zabuza encounter), with a bonus of a Rock Lee fight if you don't use a continue.
Not much (quality) unlockables, including 2 characters. Brings the total to 10 playables in all.
I'd recommend this one as a rental, though if it was cheaper (say, in the $20 range) it'd be a good buy.
Three tofu blocks out of five.

Actually, pick up Naruto Ultimate Ninja, I'm almost done putting my review copy through the wringer and it's scads better. Each character has their own scenario, and those include Lee, Zabuza, Haku, Shikamaru, Orochimaru, Gaara, Neji, and Hinata in addition to the obvious ones. The plot seems to follow through to the end of the Chuunin Exam arc.

Chip N' Dale came in the mail yesterday, I finished the last disc before work today.
I almost forgot how much I enjoyed the theme song and stories.
That and I can't get a song a villianess sings out of my head.

chip n dale was alright. you know what was awesome? Code lyoko. yeah...that french miguzi cartoon. for some reason marvel's got liscencing rights to this show that never lives up to its potential and they're promoting it like mad. I'll watch the show either way, but what they're planning to do with it and why marvel's pushing it so bad, I don't know.
but on a serious side...I was always more of a talespin fan, anyway. Cher Kahn as Disney's Lex Luthor was overly impressive and sticks in my head to this day like no one's business. I'll have to hit forbidden planet soon to pick up the first season. which also reminds me just how much I miss old disney toons.

I've really never been impressed with Code Lyoko. The animation is sub-par (the computer generated stuff is pretty good, I guess) and it's really repetitive. The best part is the theme song.
