Is meccha no longer considered (or was it ever) Osaka ben?
My uncle used to live in Hyogo and said meccha was an Osaka word.

Do you know other dialects Aiko?
I know 広島べん but that's not as exciting.

meccha, was never an original osaka ben word, but, gottsu is. in recent years though, as osaka ben (as have all dialects, excepts tokyo ben, which as you know differs from hyoujungo somewhat) has become more like hyoujungo, it has also absorbed some word from in kansai, so meccha is now very common in osaka.

For the negative past tense, add 「かった」 to 「へん」
例) 食べる → 食べない → 食べへん → 食べへんかった
例) わかる → わからない → わからへん → わからへんかった

Exception Verbs: negative
例) する → せえへん
例) くる → こおへん
例) ある → あらへん
例) いる → いやへん
