Honestly I don't see why everyone thinks Peter is smarter. Peter didn't learn to do simple things until he was an adult. For example, he never passed the fourth grade until now and he was never potty trained as a kid. And unlike Peter, Homer doesn't bring down his only daughter as much.

Man, seriously its not even that serious. They're both dumb.Peter puts down his only daughter because its funny. Homer is just an idiot who likes donuts. Family Guy is way cooler and the Simpson's Movie wasn't even that funny.
