Oh, and a personal question: Do you believe yourself to be an "indigo child"?

No, I do not. And someone said that I think i'm higher then other people. And just to crairify that, I do. I do think i'm alot higher then most people. Not because of ignorence, bu for observation. But then again, if I were ignorent I would not know I was. So in conclusion, I only have my opinion.

I hate to sound like a b***h, but I've got to ask.

Care to share it with the rest of the class?
What did you want to know?
What you believe us all to be searching for, what you have found, where you have found it. Maybe a bit about your personal revelations. What you've told us is like trying to describe the plot of a book with simply, "it was really good. You should read it."

I can understand if there's some things you wish for us to find out by ourselves, but at least be a bit more specific with your descriptions, please.

Edit: Plus, you could explain the title of this thread, because that only adds to the confusion.
I began my search looking for apacolyptic theorys. There, by complete cance I stubled upon an article intitled "Boriska the boy from mars. The rest, I cannot tell. For if I do, it will have no impact. But if you find it yourself, then you will know.
Just remember that not everything on the internet is true. There's a lot of bullshit out there, and don't take anything at face value. A true statement will always have several locations on the internet.

And after searching Google for "Boriska the boy from Mars," I find that hardly believable.
In that case, nothing is true. Because if the internet is unreliable, the tv is unreliable, and so are alot of books, Then where do we get our knowledge? You see, I find consistnces, and I find multiple sources. Then I might take it into concideration. Also, do not discredit what you do not belive. For we know little of the interworkings of the universe. Just because you don't belive it doesn't mean youshoulent take it into concideration. Unless you want to deny what you do not belive and look like an idiot when it turns out to be true. You see, throughout time, mankind has thought it knew everything that the world had to offer. but time and time again they were wrong.

You're not making much sense there, buddy. I was just making the point that right now I could create a website stating that 500 million people die from hangnails daily, cite a bunch of fake sources, and show it to people. It dosen't mean that it's true. Just keep your eyes open and check your sources. And really, I'll agree that television is unreliable, and that people take works of fiction way too seriously. But anyway. Just because I don't believe in something dosen't mean that I don't respect others beliefs. And I'm not really trying to discredit anything. All I stated is that I find it hardly believable. And whether I believe or disbelieve in something, I kind of have to take it into consideration first either way. It's...pretty hard not to. I respect your beliefs and opinions, please respect mine.

And as for the last line of your post, while it is true and...fairly obvious, what the hell does it have to do with anything?

Damn, is it just me, or are people getting more defensive and testy by the minute? Quit overreacting, children!

Ah ^^ Life's final lessons. It is said that a man has three great lessons in life that he cannot be taught 3nodding His maturity, his purpose, and his message. A person cannot be told how to be mature, they must discover it themselves and grow into the role. It's the journey that gives them this ability. In the same way, a person's purpose in life can only be found through the journey to find it, as the journey is what is the basis for thir entire purpose 3nodding And the message that someone leaves to the world. Their final words or last action. What they do that is remembered. Many people leave this world without leaving a message, and they become discontent. However those who made an impact on lives discovered this message that they would leave and left it big 3nodding

So which of the three lessons is it that your journeys brought you to understand? biggrin Was it your purpose, or your message? 3nodding

I still have no idea what message I'll leave to the world when I die ^^ No idea at all. Yet I bet when I figure it out, it'll be something small 3nodding Not something global. It'll be something tiny. Something that changes the life of one stranger, but causes them to become something great biggrin That sounds like me xd

And to DrasBrisingr, I must disagree that I think he made quite a bit of sense ^^;; He didn't say that you must believe a story is true. However true or not you can still learn things from a story. If not facts, then you can learn things about people or about yourself and you can understand things more clearly 3nodding And searching for consistencies means not to trust something that has many sources, but to trust a pattern that occurs continuously. For instance- why do the people here believe in psionics? It's because so many people have had psionic encounters, not because one person had a psionic encounter and said so many others had.

I really like that. Maturity, Purpose, and Message... yep, very nice. That one is saved away so I can repeat it to seem smarter than I am now.

Look dude, I don't have a problem with what you beleive in, in fact, I say all the power to you. However, I do find you a complete idiot with an infuriority complex who is trying to over compensate with not having a life by claiming he alone has special knowledge. Usually, people like this get a huge list of non-english/non-american insults from me so as to entertain myself and others, but you just get a cookie, and try again never. ~hands you a fortune cookie with a fortune reading "We give antidote. $3.95"~

Hello, I have not been here in a long time. I have been thinking alot. And I have found alot of knowledge. I have currently been writing a book on the days to come.

I know that many of you have been worrying about the end times. I know I was. For many years I researched. And I found a wealth of knowledge. But more importently, I found myself. I found who I was. And I am on the verge of finding out what I was meant to do.

What you all may be searching for, I have found. The end times are coming. It is enevitable It will also happen in the near future. So remember this: Find the origin, and you will find the truth.

So.. I've read all the posts and everything. I think you're an idiot of some sort *shrugs* but that's my opinion.

And you being able to detemine this when I cannot makes you.....more inteligent? Or it seems to me that you just feel threatened so you resort to name calling. I am not here to start any arguements. But when I was recomended to this guild, I had the impression that it would be full of open minded people. But it's full of people who are seperate from the comunity. Who belive what they belive in and mabe something on the side. But when something is handed to them that mabe contradicts what they belive, they discredit it's source. But back to the point, you call me an idiot for thinking that i'm above most people in terms of comprehension. But to be honest with you, i'm telling the truth (in my oun opinion.) But mabe thats to hard for your mind to comprehend? That someone out there is more observent, and more knowledgeable then you? Or just on a higher plain of thinking. And what if I did hold this "specail knowledge"? Would you be willing to learn from it? Or would you discredit it because the person who told you, you did not understand. Therefore you hate him. But you see, calling me dumb, or an idiot because you can't understand me is just like going to a city council meeting in the middle of parlomentry procedure and calling the chairman an idiot because you can't understand what he is saying. There for in my opinion, you are ignorent.

whoa. eek Hold up there. I seriously think everyone just needs to take a breath, and get off the defensive.

...

I'm not gonna point fingers or call out names. But I think everyone (including myself) could do with being a little more open minded

Example: Someone thinks that they have a higher level of comprehension, or a certain power, or a special ability. So they say so.

Even if you think that's total Bull Sh*t, be openminded. Think on it, look it up. I you still think it's bull sh*t, don't say "That's total Bull Sh*t".

try "I don't really believe that, because: ". Then the other peoples think about that, and do their polite replies.

It makes things a little less "ZOMGOSH jump down each others throats kill people with other opinions" type of thing. biggrin

Agreed, this is getting borderline flaming. And don't think I havent been doing my job, I've been watching this thread, and didn't feel the need to step in yet. Read some of Dras' posts, there you have a good role model. Constructive critisism is much more accepted than demeaning critizism. As well, if your ideas are attacked and degraded, please don't retaliate with more arguing. ignore it, refute it in a calm and logical manner, or if you feel the need, contact a moderator. Remember, I can hit all of you with the banhammer... Don't worry, I'll use the flat side, so you won't be banned... you'll just feel the iron sting of shame. <3

Although I may not agree with two of the things you said, I still think that if no one argued for what they thought was true, or right, then we would live in a totaly different world. Although one side of this arguement resorted to name calling, I still think this arguement is important. I think that if it were to stop now, then some people would not understand where I was coming from when I said that I was more inteligent then most people (Note: I never said that I was smarter then anyone here. If you feel that you are of the lower half, and you chose to take offence. Then I cannot do anything about that other the apologise.) Also on another note, I have no idea what tone people thought my posts were in. But I assure you, they were in the calmest way possible. That may have been what escalated the situaition. They were getting angery, and I was not. Or they thought that I was getting angry as well.

Sorry, Joshua, but I'm hardly a role model. I just prefer intelligent conversation to screaming matches (for the most part).

But I do agree that this has gotten a bit out-of-hand. Yes, we all do need to be open-minded. But I think that definition has gotten a bit clouded. It is simply being unprejudiced, or having pre-formed opinions of things (ususally based on falsified information). And while you may have a pre-formed opinion of something, it dosen't mean that it can't change. People don't often change. So the same people that are screaming at each other right now will always be screaming to defend themselves. Opinions are easier to change than people, though. I didn't mean to attack the credibility of anyone. Honestly, and you can cite this in my post, all I said was that I found that instance to be "hardly believable." It was my opinion. I'm sorry I'm opinionated, but it's just the way I am. And damn, people, before you go off screaming about how other people needed to be open-minded, there's plenty of blame to go around. Yes, I mean, you. You could be a bit respectful of people who don't believe in everything you do. It's the classic religion vs. atheism argument again. While the atheist should respect the religious, the religious should also respect the athiest.

So, in conclusion, everyone shut the ******** up, take a deep breath, and discuss these things with a bit of civility.
