Feline smiled. "Yes, you're welcome, good luck figuring them out," she replied, and watched as Key bounded off excitedly, but Twilight seemed a bit slower to return home. She closed the door, and went back to look at the demonic dusts on her counter.
They began to stir, and suddenly, Vestakia began to scratch at the door. Feline opened it cautiously, and Vestakia leapt inside, and shook herself like a wet dog. Feline was instantly spattered with black dust. But, much to her surprise, the dust reassembled itself into a small pile. And, amidst Vestakia's jawls, was a shiny horn that plucked itself from her mouth and stuck itself into the pile.
"A third...?"
Feline scooped the dust up and put it on her counter. "Hm.."

Guardian walked into the facility she had come across a while ago, after recentlyaquiring a StarDust. First she headed into the main room and noticed the yellow dustling snoring away on a big black pillow, aughed to herself a little as to how sweet it looked, and headed back outside, sitting down under some tree near the Facility with her little dust chick which was forming from her dust, her Raeli. "What a wonderfull night is is tonight..." Guardian mutterd to herself, looking up at the stars, wondering when some more StarDust would fall from up above....
((I love the entry with the discovery of the demonic dusts in heehee blaugh ))

Aki came running into the facility. He had never been here before for he had just gotten to the oasis. "Hello. I suppose I am Welcome here?" He didn't wait for any answers. Aki was in quite a rush for no reason it seemed like. Until he grabbed a dustpan and asked "May I?" and still didn't wait for an answer. He ran outside with the dustpan and headed toward the oasis to pick up Vaporia. She was a pile of star dust he had recently found and was carrying her in his hands and waiting for her to reform every-so- often. He scooped her into the dustpan and noticed that they matched perfectly. Almost like Feline had it ready or something of that nature. "I'm glad that thats over. Cause my hands felt gritty the whole time I did that. Do you guys have a bathroom in here? I'm kinda new." He smiled and then started breathing really hard from all of the running.

Professor Feline stared at the new boy with an odd look on her face, Vestakia hiding behind her in fear and Peraleo staring from the corner of the room, his tongue flicking every moment. "I.. uhm.. there's a bathroom over there in the back," replied Feline, pointed to the door on the right. Vestakia perked a brow and decided it wasn't life-threatening enough to keep her from her pillow any longer.

He smiled to Feline. "Could you please take care of this dust I found? I recently saw it fall towards the oasis. I think it is a female so I named her Vaporia. I just need a checkup for her to see if she is a healthy dust." He was hoping that when he comes back it would have the sign labled "Star Dust" To show that Vaporia was a healthy one. "I noticed the houses. Mind if I move in to one?" He liked the peaceful oasis and hoped to be able to live here.... like the others. He figured it would also bring a great life to his new dust. He then smiled to Professor Feline. And walked to the bathroom to change his clothes, and wash up.

Feline blinked twice and nodded as he handed her the dustpan. Carefully, she set it on her counter and turned on a set of fluorescent lights located under the cabinets that were bolted to the wall, suspended above the counter. As she sifted her fingers through the dust, she looked up at Aki and replied, "Certainly, every dust owner is free to select a house of their own on this oasis." As he walked into the bathroom, Feline finished up her analysis of the dustpan and stuck a StarDust sign into it to assure it held a dustling.

Aki came out of the bathroom changed into a more comfortable outfit. He saw that his dust was nice and healthy and smiled. "Thank you! Feline, your name is right?" He checked the names of the facilities scientists and noticed that this was Feline. "I'm Akiroti. Its nice to finaly meet you and Vestekia." He smiled and slowly petted Vestekia on the head as to not threaten her in some way. He grabbed Vaporia's dust pan and started to head out the door to choose the home for him. "If you guys would like to visit us, just swing bye. You might even be able to help me move in." He then realized what little he had. "I'll be sure to come to the facility as much as possible." He then left the facility to go choose his house.

A girl with a large bag hanging halfway down her right arm enters the Stardust Facility, but seems to be having great difficulty getting a young, mostly purple and green, Comet Serpent with blue hair to follow her in on a leash. After a few more moments of struggling, the girl sets the bag down to the side of the door, then bends over, wrapping her arms around the Comet Serpent, picking her up, and bringing her in that way. Shutting the door with her elbow, she turns around and sees the Professor, and gives her a weak smile as she holds onto the squirming little one in her arms.
"Ah... Hello Miss... I'm going to assume your Professor Feline. I'm Katie, and I just arrived to the oasis with Nyx, here," she nods to the Comet Serpent then. She seemed to have calmed down a little, and her tiny, bright red eyes were surveying the room they were in, though they kept on returning to something small, yellow, and furry that Katie thought resembled a fox, but couldn't be sure. "I thought I should come here first to get her a check-up before I moved in or anything. I wouldn't want my Nyx to get any other Stardusts sick."
Before she could let the professor respond, she remembered what else she had come here about, smacking herself in the forehead for letting it slip her mind for even a moment. "Oh yes! Nyx and I found this on our way here!" Katie then knelt down next to her bag, letting go of Nyx and removing her leash. The little Comet Serpent gave her owner one glance before slithering off to get a closer look at the yellow furry thing.
After a moment, Katie stood back up with the bag, holding it open to show Feline the contents. At the bottom of the bag was pile of yellow dust, with black and purple spots in some places. She smiles at the professor as she speaks. "I'm pretty sure it is a Stardust. Nyx got me to stop the car, and led me to it out by another oasis. I want to be sure that its healthy, too... And to get a dustpan for it." She laughed a little here, her right hand going to the back of her head. "I didn't have any handy to carry it at the time."

Professor Feline, not surprised by the girl entering her lab, continued with her current examination of what looked like a plain old empty jar labelled "falling star". She looked over, her glasses magnifying her eyes, and smiled. "I wish all new owners were as responsible as you! Alright, first things first, lemme see that dustpile." She took the bag momentarily and lifted what seemed like a little more than half the dust out into her palms, then brought it to her sterily white counter and dropped it. The other half of the dust trickled out of the bag, danced up the counter-- defying gravity-- and joined the other pile. This didn't seem to bother Professor Feline in the least. "I'll find the perfect dustpan for it after a couple tests."
The yellow furry star fox, currently cowering in the corner at the company in his home, panicked as the (still rather large) baby comet serpent came nearer. His tail bushed like a frantic cat and he dove under Feline's plastic-covered sofa with much scuffling of claws.
Professor Feline concluded her testing and raised a brow curiously. "Where did you find this, again?" she asked, as she pulled a shiny purplish dustpan from her upper cabinet. It had two small metal wings sticking from the handle.

Professor Feline nodded and listened only to half of Katie's scolding of her comet serpent, too enthralled by the dust she was now scooping into the winged pan. "It's a star fox," she murmured, gesturing to the cowardly yellow ball of fluff, "and this is a winged dustling dragon." She held a finger to her chin, her eyes almost glazed over as she wondered how it came to be. "These are very rare. All dustlings are wingless, save for a very few. And yes, they can fly, and it's a beautiful sight to behold."
The star fox crawled out from under the couch, twitched its ears, and opened its bright purple eyes wide. He wasn't used to strangers-- and after Nyx had been safely plucked off the ground, the fox leapt over to Feline and climbed into her lab coat. "Gah, he's just a coward," she said, but deep inside she really did love the little guy.

Professor Feline smiled, glad that the girl was as impressed with her own discovery as she was. "I'm not sure how it got out there. Could've been a breeding gone awry, or maybe we got lucky with the type that fell from the sky... or perhaps the wish someone made upon the star it came from had something to do with it. I have no idea." She had been writing on a clipboard the entire time, the pen scratching at the paper rapidly in her big, messy handwriting.
Vestakia, Feline's yellow dustling dragon, slinked out from the shadows of the lab and meandered over to her. Feline put her hand down for a momentary pat and Vest enjoyed it, until she noticed the foreign Nyx. She raised a furry brow and stared at it menacingly.
"I'd like to keep in touch with you, in order to see how it progresses... perhaps watching it as it grows will clue us in on how it came to be and where it came from."

Professor Feline nodded gingerly, her pen still scratching away. "She was the first dust I ever discovered. She's old as dirt," she added, with a soft grin. Vestakia didn't quite understand it was sort of an insult, and she blinked in confusion. "Nyx is growing up quickly," commented Feline, putting her clipboard down and turning to face the couple. "I think she'll turn into a stunning young adult soon." Vestakia looked up, noticing this foreigner was getting more attention than her. With a shove she pressed her face into Feline's lowered, open palm and purred.
"Silly things..." murmured Feline. "So, yes, stick around and when the dustling grows up more, it should sprout feathery wings."
