Keeper missed and quickl jumped out of the water to the other side and continued running. This creature was getting annoying. Alright if he sprinted, he could catch her with his idea.
If he ran fast enough, he could past the creature and then jump in front of it. If he managed this then he will get his way with it and go back home to tend to his wounds if any.
Sprinting as fast as he could he pasted the fast moving Dustling and lept into the water, barracading it's path. He growled out, raised his massive paw and brought it down with tremendous force.

While the dustling's idea was a great one, he seemed to forget that natural born swimmers had their ways in water. Perhaps that's what makes them special and maybe even mystical in some ways, but however they do it, it must be from instincts. Skuld was no different, she could dodge very well in the water, she had only been swimming in it all her life.
When the dustling's paws broke the water's surface, she immediately flicked her tail and tilted her body around. The chain of movements happened all in the blink of an eye, much like how when unknown creatures approach fish, they quickly tilt their bodies and swim away. However, unlike fish, her movements in the water didn't stop there. Once she turned around, she continued swimming on, back to the place where they first met. Only, this time she swam much faster as she was swimming with the current, and with the help of a downhill flow, she could even outswim the fast sprinter. They both could only keep it up for so long, but Skuld was swimming in an almost zero gravity enviornment, her stamina wouldn't run out any time soon.

Growling, Keeper shot from the water once more and headed back down river. He missed. He sprinted as fast as he can, but he could not do it. As he ran he thought, If I can't catch her at this speed while running....then if I can swim fast enough along with the currents flow, I can be just as fast. WIthout any hesitation he jumped back into the river and quickly swam after the attacker.
THe Dustling was only a few feet ahead and it moved quite fast. Something hit him as he followed it. It was a scent of some sort, but underwater? It was of a Dustling, a female too. Wait, could this attack of his be a female?
Keeper made his way out of the river for the third time and slowly walked to the Lake's edge and sat himself down. His chest heaved as he breathed, he needed to catch his breath from the running, swimming, and near-death drowning. If he knew anything about females, then he knew why this one attacked him. The male sat straight back, head held high, a strong posture. He could let this one go...
