Ari nodded. "Tell me, who's child are you of. Unless you are a rogue," She gazed at the male, "which i highly doubt you are, seeing as you are traveling with Baridi here..." She grinned slightly, remember Bari always commenting on how she hated Rogues.
Ari picked her granddaughter up, carrying her in her maw as she motioned for Mbali to follow. When they arrived in the lands, she placed the young cub on the ground for a moment, glancing at the hwite male. "You both can stay in my den if you would like," The queen murmured. "I'm sure Bari would want someone she knows to be there when she wakes up. Certainly she doesn't want to see me," She grinned slightly. "She has her father's attitude.

Mbali looked at her, "My parents are Bakhti and Mahiri of the pridelands." He looked at the queen and just smiled following her as he had done Bar, in silence.
As they reached the den he laid down close to Bari, but not too close, she would kill him otherwise! "Thank you Ari. I was worried about her."

"Bakhti?" Oh boy. She knew that name all too well. "Hmm it's...best if you keep your mother's name a secret when you meet Asi." She chuckled quietly.
The queen nodded. "If anyone asks who you are, just say you have permission from me to be here. I am going to go get you both something to eat, since you both look famished!" Bari imparticularly. The queen turned to leave, heading out of the den. She needed to find Asi, and tell him of the news that their granddaughter and little friend graced the lands.

He looked curious about not being able to say his mothers name but didn't ask. He just watched Bari as her grandmother left.
Once Ari had left he walked over to Bari and pawed at her gently, "Bari, Bari, wake up, please wake up..."

At the paws, Bari shifted. "Mmwha?" She mutter quietly, blinking open an eye. "Mbali?" She groaned looking around. Where were they? How long had she been out? Where was her grandmother? "Where...are we?"

Great...
Bari sighed, laying her head back on the ground. "Fine..." she said quietly, no hint of maliciousness in her voice. She was too tired to fight, and anyways what would be the point of it? Mbali would probably try hunting her down so she wouldn't go hurt herself.
She watched as he stepped back. Not that she liked his company or anything...but she was cold at the moemtn! And..when he laid near her, she felt warm, safe even if she didn't want to admit it.

He walked to the cave entrance and looked out. "You knew we were heading here didn't you?" He turned to look at Bari and smiled. He wasn't annoyed.
He walked back over to her and started to lick and her wound again, it looked dirty and needed cleaning. He sat down close to her as he did it. Ready to hold her down if she resisted.

Bari made a grumpy noise. "Yes." She sneered slightly, "thus why I didn't want to come here." She said moodily.
She didn't say anything this time as he started to clean her wounds again. Like before, no energy was left and besides, she needed to figure out to be submissive in /some/ situations. It didn't mean she'd be the submissive one her whole life!
As he cleaned the wound, you could slightly here her purring closing her eyes as she shuffled closer to the juvenille. Mm nice warm fur!

He paused and blinked a few times sure that it was her idea to come this way. He shook his head and continued to lick at the wound, smiling at the purring coming from her.
Once he had finished he laid down next to her, letting her move closer to him. "I am sorry for bringing you here Bari, I dont really want you to die.."

"I..I'm..not...going to...die." She said weakishly with a small smile, purring still. Even though it was the fever and illness talking for her, it was a nice change then the normal stubborness she was always acting around the white male, right?

Mbali just licked at her agani and smiled. "I am glad, I dont want you to die." He found this rather strange, Bari, being nice, wow. He was going to treasure this moment in case he never found it in her again!
