A frown passed over the female’s features, long and full of sorrow. What a tragic beginning to this new life, here in the wood. However, he said he felt safe here, and so she figured that even after that event, he may be happy.

With his next words, she took another step further into the open pasture, eyes wandering from the field, to Tristan and back. It was kind, what he had said to her--yet it didn't seem true, or filling to her. 'Thank you...I think you have a lot too then--you’re living, and you’re free. You have a lot to be happy about, so why are you so sad?' her vision crossed to Tristan and stayed, ears pricking slightly. She was intrigued as to why he was indeed so sad, other then the fact that his name meant sad and he fell off a cliff--

She was trying to be sensitive about this.

*Frowning slightly at her words the red coated male stopped and eyed at her. What- sad? His ears perked back slightly as he let a soft sigh pass him. Black paws pressed against the ground as he moved back and forth for a bit, as if gathering his words. He was not very good with speaking, his words always seemed to get the better of him in the end.

Tilting his head he stopped and stood to the side of her, his body moving to still. With a soft gaze he spoke to her, his tone rather uncertain.*

"You know. I really have no right to be upset. I have been feeling down a lot, as of late. All the things that I knew and held true left me- but I have been making it worse for myself. I have this, this hole inside of me… it’s like a cold center I try to keep shut, but- I can’t really do that any more. That is a part of me, even if I dislike it."

*He was rambling now, maybe trying to stop himself from handing her his life story. He hated having to seem so weak and useless, because he was not. He was strong and very charming most of the time, but then again right now he wasn’t himself. He couldn’t really explain why he was acting this way, but he felt he should try.*

"My friend found a mate, and at the time having a mate had never really popped into my head. I was just so use to having her around me, and then she was gone, and I was alone. It hurt I think, this growing up thing, it hurt."

*He stopped again and let his head roll down. Why did he have to be so weak right now? He wanted badly to show her that he was strong-hearted and willing to be the best he could. For the life of him he wished that.*

Jenna felt her emotions bound, her recoiled frame softening up to the male. He lost everything, and had every right to be sad--But it really wasn't right. No one should feel deprived of things, and Jenna wished she could split herself into a million pieces, just so everyone was happy. Taking a step towards Tristan, she whined in response. 'You shouldn't feel this way, Tristan. Your a healthy wolf, you've got a lot of life ahead of you--I know it'll be hard to move on, but as long as the friendship is sustained and you guys keep in touch, you should try to move on and not dwell. Keeping to the past only makes the things in front of you, the things that may mean more to you in one hour then what did ten days ago, less meaningful.'

Jenna sank onto her rump, now fairly close to the male and sighed, ears drooping back. Where did all this come from, and why was she pouring it out now. Flitting her gaze towards the red coat of her new friend, she released one last whine--if anyone looked tougher now, it was Tristan.

*Frowning at her the red coated male stood still and eyed her darkly. She seemed upset now, what had he done? Cocking his head to the side the male slowly moved himself to the front of her. His paws, laced his a soft darkness slowly moved to kiss the ground as he lowered his body, moving himself lay in front of her. Wiggling his tail back and forth slightly the male did his best to get her attention, but felt his stupid grin wouldn’t get far.

Slowly he moved himself closer, using his belly and fore paws to roll himself up to her, whining at her playfully. His actions were silly, yet he did them to help her. He did not want to see her upset, she was too lovely to be so sad. Nipping at her left paw the male licked her paw over once, before moving his gaze back up to her. His eyes hit just at her chest, and the cloth that lay along it. He eyed it intently before looking away, his muzzle moving back to her paws.

Sighing deeply the male lay still, his chin resting upon both of his paws. He wouldn’t move until she came around, that’s what he had decided on. Shifting his sight to her paws the red male smirked, before nipping at her other paw now, as if to play with her.*

Jenna wasn't upset, really, and once he plopped himself onto his belly and began running his muzzle across both of her paws, a soft smile curled onto her lips. It was kind of cute the way he acted, and casually, as he began to n** at her opposite paw, she lowered her head and nudged his own, ears flicking back. Slowly gliding her muzzle down the side of Tristan's face, she released a whine of glee, though rather playful in manner. Once her nose touched his chin, her entire mass flopped onto her side and her muzzle made an attempt to nestle in under his neck. Her form wriggled, however mostly her own cranium as the thudding from her tail became more and more audible.

Her tongue exited her muzzle, and lashed out helplessly at Tristan's face, a smile parting with each chuckle she released. Then, pulling her head back from the males form, she smiled and nuzzled the cheek of his features before pulling herself to her feet rather suddenly and darting a good 10 feet. From there, she spun about, lowered her upper half and wagged her tail feverishly in the air, a dog like charm coming over her. Playtime was now, and one way or another Tristan would chase her around and forget all his past sorrows, even if for a few seconds.

*This moment to him was Resplendent, everything about it seemed to dazzle. The sight of Jenna’s soft feathers only tempted this male to push her to another level of enjoyment. He wanted to make her smile. Quickly Tristan took off, pushing himself onto his paws. He took haste in getting to her, moving himself around her side once. His blue eyes narrowed as he parted his muzzle, panting. Maybe it was his desperation to hold on to something that made him this way-maybe that was why he longed for her smile. Whatever reason he held behind his actions Tristan was pure in heart, and would do nothing to harm her.

Panting deeply now the full-blooded wolf charged at Jenna using the side of his skull to softly ram at her neck playfully growling like a puppy. The cool tip of his nose passed her ear as he pushed himself a bit closer to her, taking the time to n** at her ear, before pulling himself back. He eyed her once, and then again before softly using the tip of his nose to brush along side her chest, sniffing her as he did so. Intoxicating.. Popping onto his hind paws the male jumped back and turned, darting away from her. His wagging tail batted from side to side as he moved himself a good few feet away from her, awaiting her nest move.*

Jenna was again engulfed in Tristan's desire to rub and feel upon her, though she enjoyed all of his affection, she still felt a bit odd in pushing herself upon him. Nonetheless, these feelings were slowly dwindling, and a new, much more arousing, sensation flooded her body. As he began to run his features against her, she groaned softly and reached out to lick at him, but alas was just out of reach as he darted off. Toying with her was he? How cute.

Her ears flicked back, an embarrassed expression held firmly on her face. It wasn't as if she didn't want to be against him, yet for some reason she was confused as to why she felt the want to just stay friends for the time being--it was new, and frightful, but all the while she longed for it and felt a piece of her history come alive. Padding towards his general direction, she whined softly, before pausing and lashing her tail to and fro, the soft, dangling fur swaying gently. His lean form moved quickly, and distanced the two of them more and more by the second. Soon, he was simply a speck of red, like lost blood fled from a wounded creature, body still bobbing in a sprint. She smiled, paws pounding the earth a few times in eager excitement, before bursting into a fleet of roaring steps, moving quick and limber across the grass floor.

The wind lashed against her face, tongue lolling from her jarred maw. There was passion in the half blooded creature--a longing passion to be wanted, liked and even adored. And every time she took a step, Tristan came to mind, and all this want was fulfilled. Her muzzle lifted into the air, limbs jerking faster and faster as she built up momentum for a high jump, and barked howled into the day lit sky. Hind paws pushed off the ground in the leap, the height overbearing, yet exhilarating, then landed once again--some what clumsily. Her footsteps slowed with the fall, however her speed was regained and soon she was back at Tristan's side, running wild circles about him, nipping at his neck and pulling back on her hind paws to bat at him. The primitive hound in her was blending into the wild wolf she proved to be half of, and soon would conjoin in one, hardly capable of telling the difference. She moved towards Tristan's muzzle, submitting slightly, and bobbed her own maw in the air. Her tongue flicked out occasionally with the gesture as she continued chasing the male, eyes running over his red, masculine form.

*Her movements only seemed to press him on; his black laced paws parting as he moved himself back and forth, padding in place playfully. Jenna’s swift reactions only seemed to bring out the puppy in him; Tristan’s want for her smile was fulfilled. The red coated female seemed to be enjoying herself, just as mush he was. With a soft pant he would lower himself and bat at the ground with his fore paws, while wigging his rump up into the air, barking at her. His whole body rolled from side to side, due to his tail’s movements.

Wide eyes played along her as she danced circled around him, his ears perked up completely. With a soft gaze to Jenna, following her run for a bit he stopped his actions to take the time see better understand her motions. After pulling himself back from the ground he darted at Jenna’s side, nipping at her neck line playfully. His nose rubbed against her fur as he did this, hutting just at the cloth along her neck. Jerking himself back Tristan took a hold of the cloth and slowly tugged it off of her.

Padding away from her after he did this the male held the cloth carefully, not knowing what personal value it held. Eyeing over at her panting he stood still, before lowering himself again, his chin hitting the ground softly. His hide wiggled from side to side as he eyed her down, barking. He wanted to play still- maybe this would provoke her to come at him.*

'NO!' Jenna cried, eyes widening and ears flicking back as the male pulled off the red scarf from her neck. She herself didn't know why it was placed, yet deep in her mind, in her gut, she knew it was there for a purpose and never had she taken it off. As it slid from her back, brutal scars opened in fresh air, dimmed by the darkness that was the cloth. Randomly placed wounds stretched along the cloths length, pale and old yet harmful to her own thoughts, if she were to see them. Quietly, she murmured and shrunk down to the earth, feeling bare and naked. New memories began to flash and she desperately wanted to be covered again, as if the scar blocked all the wicked thoughts that dwelled from her past. She was beginning to remember.

Heart racing, the female rolled onto her paws and played backwards, feet moving fiercely and yet--awkwardly. She was stumbling to run away, yet the urge to tell Tristan, to show him, to warn him was all there. Her throat tightened and her tail began to tuck under her belly. Knees buckled and blood boiled as the female darted her gaze, to and fro, before yelping to her companion. 'Give it back Tristan...' her voice was hoarse, stern, yet worried and sickly almost. Her eyes looked dull once more, the childish charm gone from sight. Everything was flashing back now, and without hesitation she ran towards the male and snatched her up cloth before darting towards the opposite side of the wood, tossing the cloth around her neck and desperately trying to tie it back, with no avail. 'Tristan....no....' she whined, nosing the wrinkled ends towards her chest.

*With regret the male stood still, eyeing Jenna as she moved herself to the ground. Her body seemed to quiver- as if she were being attacked by something. The male’s gaze fell down, following her. He quickly pushed back his ears, his tail tucking in showing his signs of apology. Something inside of him ached. What he had he done to her? Never had this male wanted to harm not- but then... why did she act so belittled and torn? Slowly he moved himself forward about to speak.

But before he could Jenna had come up to him and snagged the cloth back, fleeing him afterwards. As she moved away from him he eyed her, broken. What had he done? Why was she acting in such a manner? The cloth, something about that cloth she kept along her neck- but why did it mean? He had no way of knowing until she told him, but he knew that right now was not the time to ask. He wanted to get her to settle down.

Pushing himself forward slowly the male whined softly, whimpering as he moved to her. He lowered himself again and sighed; his body feeling limp.*

“Jenna...”

*He started out moving hi sight back to her as she tried to retie the cloth. He eyed down the half wolf, longing to understand this pain she showed within her eyes.*

“I am so sorry, I didn’t know- Please, let me help you..."

The scars on her back, half hidden by soft red fur, ached, even if the pain was caused a year ago. They burned with her agony, her distress, and most of all they instilled pain because Tristan had to take the brunt of her anger...or what was anger. She flattened her ears, watching the male approach her steadily. His words were combined, yet she understood them through her screaming thoughts. Tell him, do it. Please! He needs to know, he has that right. Her head bobbed slightly, tail tucking quickly, pressing against her thighs. She didn't know what to do, other then stay quiet--but what would that solve? With the cloth now bundled around her neck, and the tie-able ends wrapped around slightly, the memories became faint blurs.

Wincing, she looked to Tristan for the most support she could. 'I--It's...There's no need to be sorry...' Keeping low to the earth, she lowered her head to her forepaws and shuddered. 'I'm sorry, I just--this scarf needs to stay tied or else...or else--' Pausing, the female clung to the thought of keeping quiet, and so she let a lie slip. 'Those cuts show, I fell as a pup and I don't like remembering it...' What?! That wasn't the truth, she couldn't even recall her childhood! Sighing, Jenna lifted, a pain hitting her head gently. 'I need to find a--a human, they can tie these.' With a whimper, Jenna was creeping towards the woods, her entire form sagging to the earth.

She wanted Tristan with her, but wasn't sure how he felt now. Only half broken compared to the male, Jenna peered back, eyes grim. Please follow.

*Unaware of what was putting her into this much pain the male wolf let his tail drop and ears pin back as he moved himself behind Jenna. He would follow her without asking any more questions- right now something was eating at her... something he couldn’t help her with, so until she felt like telling him he would wait. Moving himself closer to her he could see something... covered by her red fur.

His eyes narrowed as he did his best to make out what it was that she had kept hidden with her cloth--No use- he would have to be still for her and wait. He wanted to help her... so he would wait and be beside her until she asked him to leave. He would follow her without question.*
