Davexander, both hearing and seeing the new dragon appear, turned and inclined his head to the larger european.
"Greetings," he said, looking back up with chocolate brown eyes. Much to his horror, Zinnia had decided that since the newcomer was larger, he could give her more attention than the lunar kyn she was currently tormenting, and made a beeline (well, as much of a beeline as she could manage) to one of the dragons massive limbs, purring about as loudly as she could manage.
((sorry it took me so long to respond! I was waiting for Waarufu so I didn't expect to see someone else XD))

Lorne bowed his monstrous head low to Davexander. "Merry meet. I am Lorne. I hope I did not frighten anyone." He chuckled softly, glancing knowingly at Nishi. He twitched his tail once (though it was far enough away among the trees that the others could only hear the loud thump as it struck a tree) and looked down at Zinnia. He chuckled and gave a soft croon, raising one titanic claw before carefully rolling his hand over and lifting the kitten up to safety while he lay down. Satisfied that nothing was beneath him, he settled and lay the kitten back down, stretching out one leg so that the little creature could climb.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Lorne, I am Davexander." He let his breath out when he saw that the massive newcomer was not going to harm the kitten--advertently or inadvertently. Once that was affirmed, Dav smiled a little; it had been so long since he'd met another kyn, and today he met so many!
Zinnia, thrilled with the attention, rubbed against his massive claw for as long as he held her, and as soon as she was sat carefully back down on the ground, began the climb up the extended leg.

Nishi gave a high trill of greeting towards Lorne, ducking and weaving a bit in a tight pattern before his massive head. "Greetings to you as well, great one!" Asayake bowed her head politely, remembering Lorne from when he was little and the time he had come back to visit their den once before. "It has been a while." The older female still was surprised at Lorne's size, perhaps especially so as she knew him when he was about her own size.
Virika stayed hunkered down under Asayake, her ears back and her tiny wings pinned to her body. She wasn't exactly liking all of these newcomers, and felt especially threatened for the size difference between herself and Lorne.

Lorned blinked down at Virika for a moment as the kitten made it up to his mane. "You are..." He paused, then slowly turned his head. A graceful yellow Lunar stepped out of the woods behind him, panting softly. She gave Lorne a scolding look, as if annoyed at him for getting so far ahead, and he grinned sheepishly in return. It was then that she noticed the others and backed off a bit. Her scent, though, would be vaguely familiar to Virika.
Lorne coughed and smiled. "How have things been with your den, little Nishi, and sister Asayake?" His memory was something, even if his wit was not always the best. He turned his head as he inhaled, so as not to risk knocking the two small dragons in the other group onto their faces.

Dav could do little other than settle down to watch the proceedings and hope that the kitten wouldn't loose her balance and fall--it would be a long drop.
She, however, seemed afraid of no such things as she mozied and miandered her way to the top of the tall dragons mane, purring as loudly as she could to make sure she had his full and undivided attention. Zigzagging through the fur, she headed up further towards his face--he couldn't see her here, after all!

Virika's nose twitched at the approaching mixed breed, her small wings folding all the tighter to her body. Great, even more company! The fur on her back was starting to rise, despite any familiarity between them. For her first outing, this was turning into a party she didn't want to be in the middle of.
"Things have been pretty good, Lorne. A little hectic, nowadays. It seems that there are so many of us, it is hard at times to get time alone and away from everyone."
"I don't think so. It's great to have so much family!" Nishi chirped as she spoke, blushing a bit at the rather un-kyn-like noise. Her enthusiasm obviously had gotten the best of her.
((I may not have internet this weekend, and I'm off to college the 19th. *ish making posts everywhere* I just wanna let ya'll know why I'm so slow - packing. ^.^; ))

Falke lifted her nose to the air and sniffed, then wagged her tail wildly, giving a silent bark. She stepped forward, sniffing about, looking for her child among these other kyn. Her shyness was forgotten in the excitement of seeing one of her children.
Lorne had been about to speak when he was cut off by this spectacle. His ear twitched and he crossed his eyes, looking up at the creature now sitting on his nose. "Er, hello." He began exhaling very carefully so as not to blow the kitten into the air, or inhale her by accident.

Bumping her head along his face, Zinnia unabashedly begged for attention from the massive kyn. When he spoke to her, she made the effort to purr louder, although it was probably very small in comparison.
"Ah, forgive the little one," Dav said, a little sheepishly. "If she's causing trouble, I'll be happy to take her."
((Incredibly lame, short post after a long pause, sorry.))
