Astia nodded. "Okay.. Yeah." The red flush creeped down her neck. She wanted to snap.. but she restrained herself. "Yeah.." She nodded, and looked down again, avoiding his eyes. "Thanks.." She nuzzled him, as a friend. "Okay," She said, a bit louder. "I consider you perfect for Ru. You passed my test." She grinned.

Delano smiled a bit and tried his best to comfort her. Something was obviously bothering her, but he would not probe or try to get her to speak about it. "Thank you Miss Astia. err What test was that?" He was confused..had he been tested? apparantly so it seemed. He used his horn gently to lightly lift her chin a bit then raised his own head to meet her eyes. "You are Aruna's friend. Whatever happens in your life, if you need someone you can most certainly seek me out. Whether it is just to talk or a shoulder to lean on, or to protect and reclaim honor, I will always be here" His eyes sparkled and he smiled as she grinned.

Astia smiled softly back at Delano. He was perfect for Aruna. "Test?" She giggled. "The test for dealing with Ru's pushy friend, of course." Tia said jokingly, nudging Delano happily. "Thankyou, kind sir Delano." The mare nodded. "And I, will always be here for you, and Ru." She smiled again.

Delano had a wide grin plastered over his face. "Pushy? nooo. Just concerned and that my dear is a very admirable trait in a friend. Aruna is very lucky to have a friend that cares so much for her as you do. I am sure she has needed a shoulder many a time in her dealings with Rahu" He smiled and nipped at her mane playfully. Something about Aruna brang out a playful side in him.

Astia grinned, and winked to Del. "Yeah... and someone to talk about crushes with." She gigggled, and nipped at Del's mane. This stallion was alright. She nodded mentally. He would be great for Ru. "Hey.. do you wanna look for Ru? It sorta looks like we both need to talk to her.. if you had to talk to her? I just wanted to catch up quickly." The mare nodded.

Delano laughed a bit as she nipped back. "Crushes hmmmmm" He winked playfully at her. "well I promised her I'd wait here for her and not move from this area. I imagine she'll be back soon. " He eyed the direction Aruna had gone, anxiously awaiting her return. He was thankful Astia was keeping him company. "Yes I do want to talk with her. I need to...tell her how I feel. "He blushed deep purple again and grinned sheepishly, pawing the ground with one hoof.

Aruna was ready now--she felt... much better after that long talk session. How many hours had it been? It was such a long time. As she returned to where Delano stood, she spotted a familiar mare. "Delano!" she called, trotting up, and then spied... Astia. "Astia!" she said happily, nuzzling her friend. "So how is my little sister doing? Better, I hope?" She turned and smiled at Delano, albeit a bit... shyly. "Hello, Delano. You kept your promise... thank you." She nuzzled him, and then flushing, turned to look at her "sister". "Tia, what brings you here? You look a little tired."

Astia's head snapped to where Ru was standing. "Ru!" She cried out, and galloped toward her friend, forgetting to answer Del. "Yes, Im doing much better, thanks to your handsome friend here!" She giggled, and nuzzled her big sister. Tia smiled awkwardly as Ru greeted Del, feeling she should not interupt them. "What brings me here? Ah, just making sure Del was okay Ru, ya know." She nuzzled her friend again. "Yes, I am a bit tired, I think Ill turn in soon- if you don't mind." The mare smiled, and lay down slowly.

Delano watched the two converse, a little confused at what exactly was going on. Nonetheless he smiled at Aruna and moved forward to greet her, "Of course my golden angel. I would wait for you forever if you asked it of me." He nuzzled her tenderly, wanting to explode and tell her everything he felt. He chuckled as he looked to Astia. "Mmmm yes she has been chatting and keeping me company" He smiled and watched the two mares. Then Astia spoke about turning in and proceeded to lay down. "Oh tired so soon Astia? well may you sleep well with sweet dreams and may angels watch over you"

((I'm sorry I've been taking so long. My dad cut off the net access at my house so... yeah. X3;; If I don't appear on the net, well, that's cuz my dad got pissed at me for sitting at the computer forever.))
She blushed at Astia's words but returned her sister's nuzzle. "Tia, if you've been flirting with my Lano you know the consequences!" she teased, though she whispered the words and her golden eyes glinted strangely. Her face, however, burned with a ferocious blush as she said the words. "I see--so you were testing him? I guess I can forgive you then," she smiled. "Tired already, dearest? All right, then. You may sleep away... sweet dreams always for you." She turned and smiled at Delano. "Always the sweet words, my handsome knight. Shall we go to converse quietly so my younger sister can sleep?" She winked at Astia, letting the golden mare know that this was when she would confess... she had to, or she would never ever have the courage to say it again... or maybe she would, but who knew when she would see her knight in shining armor ever again?

Astia nodded sleepily. "Don't worry Ru.. I haven't.." The goldenrod mare yawned. "Yes, I fear today has been very tiring.." She smiled sleepily. "Thankyou, Sir Delano, and Ru." She nuzzled both, and slowly, her eyes shut, as she dreamed of better worlds.

Delano smiled and watched as the goldeny yellow mare fell into a peaceful sleep. He turned his gaze to meet Aruna's and his heart nearly jumped out of his chest. It was time. Time to tell her. He smiled and blushed a light purple. What an affect she had on him. "For you, always sweet words, my angel who leads me to heaven." He looked at Astia again, sure she was asleep and safe. " Yes lets. We do not want to wake her but let us stay near to ensure she is safe. We do not want any predators preying upon her as she sleeps."

 She returned Delano's smile, catching his gaze a moment. Her heart thumped wildly in her chest and she prayed that she would have the strength to confess. It had taken her a long time to confess to Rahu, so maybe, with Delano, it wouldn't be too hard... she knew the words would spill from her lips... She followed his gaze to her recently adopted sister, and smiled softly. "Yes... let's go, but not to far. I trust your words, Delano." She looked around, and spotted a large tree that was far enough away that their talk wouldn't disturb Astia but close enough where they could keep an eye out for any predators. "How about that tree over that way?" she asked quietly. "I think it would be perfect."

Delano's ears perked back as she spoke and he turned to meet her gaze. "Yes that tree is perfectly suited to keep watch over her and talk privately. "He nuzzled her softly. "How you amaze me always with your quick thinking." His stomach flipped and flopped this way and that as his heart pounded thunderously. He started towards the tree and turned his head to make sure she was following, nickering softly.

She smiled at him as their eyes met. "Do I? You amaze me with your healing abilities... I wish I could heal. It must be amazing to have the ability to heal..." She nuzzled him back, glanced at Astia out of the corner of her eye and then followed Delano toward the she had mentioned earlier. When he nickered, she whinnied back in reply to assure him she was following.
