He fluffed his wings and ignored the 'nudge' for the moment. "Now Eos. Be nice." He looked over at the other Uuthli. "And if i remember correctly all of thoes women have decided to knock your ego back down rather than not keep up."
He looked back at the red one. "The Village is off limits to everyone but thoes who live there. Unless we informed one of the leaders we would be in as much trouble as you if we let you in. Now, instead, how about you tell us your name?"
He glared at Eos. "I wasnt talking to you." He turned his attention from one winged one to the other.
"Just ******** great." That's just what he needed to know. He couldnt get into the village unless he found someone who could let him in there and he really didnt want to find anyone like that. He just wanted answers.
"Kuro"

"Talking to me or no, it would do you a world of good to listen with your ears before running that mouth of yours, llar." He crossed his arms over his broad chest, eyes narrowing with a slightly feral gleam as he glared at the crimson jivvin. "I told you the same thing that my companion did but if you are too foolish to realize that than so be it. Not everyone can see the things that are right before their noses. Some lack the focus to try."
His arms uncrossed and his hands took a natural place on his hips. "You obviously lack direction. You don't know where you've been and you don't know where you're going. You need to find yourself before you can find any mythical village..." He then flashed a dark glare in 'Leo's' direction. "And don't you dare correct me when you know that I am right."
Assuming he hadn't been attacked and the llar had been rendered speechless for the moment, he continued. "You are a Daewl, are you not?"

He chuckled slightly as Eos spoke. It was quite a thing to see him actually telling someone useful, but then again Kuro had given him reason too.
He fluffed his wings and looked at the Daewl. Eos was right. The red one had lost his path somewhere along the way and had never learned what and who he was. "You know Eos. You could be a little kinder, well maybe you couldnt but you should."
He glared at the one who had spoken even though he hadn't asked him for his opinion. He wanted to find the village so he could find out what he was missing. Looking around in the woods wouldnt tell him anything. He needed books and someone who knew.
"Yes, i am a Daewl." Though he really had no idea what that ment

"If you think that my words would be better accepted in kindness you are more of a fool than I already believe you to be, Leo." He snorted softly, golden eyes never leaving the llar despite the fact that he was speaking to his 'angelic' companion. It was quite clear when he started speaking to Kuro once more. "You are a Daewl but you do not know what it means to be one, do you? It is something you were born to be and yet you cannot embrace it because you cannot embrace yourself." His lips curled into a slight sneer. "You are no better than a pet with the ability to speak... Tell me, llar , what sets you apart from them? What makes you different?"

He reached up and cuffed Eos across the head again. "Dont call me that." He wasnt some overly fluffy lion for lords sake.
He didnt truely like that Eos was being cruel to the Daewl but it was probably what the red one needed. He obvisouly hadnt gotten anywhere by people being nice to him. Eleos could see it. Kuro had a cruelty in him but he was trying to hide it for something, but hiding it would only get him scorned when it forced itself out.
He opened his mouth to rebut that but closed his jaws when he realised he didnt have anything to say to it that wouldnt make him sound like Jhadia. He'd basically let himself be Hatter's pet since he didnt have any reason to be anything else. It had been so long that it had just been him and the Demon, then other's started appearing, then Aara appeared.
He'd never bothered to figure out what he was or why. He just was and up until months ago had thought that was enough. Glaring at Eos he finally spoke. "What do you know of it? You're perfectly happy being a jackass. I dont need help from someone like you."

The moment he was cuffed he turned, quickly moving to soundly slap the other Uuthli across the face. "Cuff me once more and, by the gods, I'll make you regret the day you were hatched." For once his voice rang true. He wasn't speaking of idle threats. There were ways to see to it that someone changed to view things from your way without violence... Especially as far as he was concerned. If it didn't bother the other male so much he never would have said it.
The mistake was in letting his frustrations show... Just as he'd been told that he did often. Leo was more like him than he was willing to admit.
That said he returned his attentions to the llar once more. "If I am a 'jackass' for being truthful than so be it. Is it truly so hard to have the truth displayed before you?" He knew well what it meant to have his heritage shoved at him... To be told daily what it meant to be a Uuthli; to be his sire's son. Did this Daewl have the slightest inkling as to what he was?
No. No, he didn't. It was obvious.

His brow raised as he was slapped. Eos only did that when he was pissed and that ment he was going to get carried away. he reached up and rubbed his cheek where it stung slightly. "Do not call me that name and i will not cuff you, it is an easy agreement. There is no need for threats against my life." Besides the leaders would not like it if Eos killed him.
His ears flattened slightly. What did the other know of being him? He obvisouly knew what he was so he didnt know what it was to have everyone telling you that you didnt know what you were.
"Having you tell me again and again that i dont know what i am is pointless. I already know i dont know this, that's why i am looking for the Village and people who can help me."

"Take a page from your own book and learn from the things you've been saying." He growled softly in Leo's general direction, lips curling into a slight snarl once more. This 'argument' on the side was doing nothing to make him seem right to the crimson Jivvin.
"You will not find the Village. I have already told you that. Need you clean out your ears before I repeat myself again?" His arms re-crossed over his chest as he glared down at the llar. "You are looking at someone who is trying to help you in a round-about way. Think about what I've said, llar. Take my words for face value. I have nothing to gain by filling your addled mind with falsehoods."

He shook his head and looked away from Eos. Far be it from him to tell the other Uuthli that his way of doing it was only going to upset the Daewl and it generaly wasnt intelligent to upset them.
"Eos, dear friend. May i suggest that you speak to him in a more friendly tone. I doubt talking to him like he is a child is going to help"
He growled and suprisingly did what the other had said. Not that it didnt do any good. All that told him was that the winged ones were just more people telling him that he didnt know what he was. He already knew that. It didnt tell him anything.
Seeing his vision darkening he shook his head. He hated it when it did that every time he got pissed. "I do not see anything in you're words other than things i already knew"
He looked down at Kuro again. "That, dark one, is because you are not looking at the words from the right angle." He nodded slowly

He took a deep breath, counting to ten slowly in his head before releasing it. It would do no good to lay Eleos out on the ground now... As tempting as it might be to put the other Uuthli in his place.
"I will put all that I have said clearly before you in layman's terms." He closed his eyes, making a dramatic pause before continuing. "Let go of your frustration. Let go of everything that's been holding you back. Let go of who you were before and look for who you are now... What you are now. Are you just a pet? Or are you something more, llar?"

He almost chuckled, almost, but he knew laughing now would only push Eos just enough that he actually would prove good on his threat. Them trying kill eachother would not be what Kuro needed if he wanted help as he said.
He settled his arms behind his back to watch. Far be it from him to get in the way until the two ego's gave it a rest
Didnt the idiotic feather brain think he already did that? What did the world think he had been doing wandering around in the garden all this time? He hadnt been just sleeping, he'd been thinking about his life and so far it hadnt done any good.
He already knew he didnt just want to be Hatter's pet. He wanted to be himself. He wanted to be all of himself. Hiding had pushed everyone even cared for a little away.
But to let go of it all? Could he do that?

"You are a Daewl. That means you can't possibly be as foolish as you seem. Most of your rank are extremely intelligent. Most of them. There is one in every clutch that proves to be idiotic. Prove me wrong, llar. Prove that you aren't the fool that you seem to be. Find your focus." He pressed on with his words, continuing his attempt to force the crimson jivvin into thought. If he couldn't find his point of focus under pressure he would never find it alone. "Find that one thing that you can set your mind on away from all others... The one thing that calms you... That can prepare you for battle. This is a battle, llar. It is a batlte with yourself and you are going to loose if you think finding a village can help you find yourself."

Focus. He needed to focus. That is what he hadnt been able to do at Hatter's home. He'd been dealing with the twins and Jhadia and trying to stay out of Aara's way. He'd been able to do anything but focus.
Taking a deep breath he settled his mind. Shutting out all the voices of thing that wanted him to do anything but be greedy and do what he wanted. His mind once again returned to what it had been before he'd met the happy blue Jivvin. The dark almost slimy greed that he'd held onto, the thing that made him a kindred spirit with the demon who he lived with.
"I am no idiot." his eyes opened from where they had slid shut as he took the time to clear his mind. The usual steel gray of his eyes had been clouded by a black film.

He could feel a grin threatening ot tug at the corners of his lips; a grin that came off as a sly smirk steaming with knowledge of secrets. "It's about time you viewed the world with open eyes, Kuro." A name? Yes. The llar had a name and he'd finally earned the right to be spoken to with it. "Tell me what you see."

He smiled softly. That was better. The little dark one was finally seeing things though the eyes that he was born with. Kuro may not have realises yet what it ment but at lest he could see correctly now.
He just looked at the two feathered ones for a few miniuets. It was correct that he didnt truely grasp what it ment yet, he had not had enough time to think about it, but he could see.
"I see...." He looked at Eos again for a few moments. "You know what i see. You know yourself." He would not speak of it infront of the kinder of the two. They had a delicate friendship as it was, he would not add to the storm building.
Turning he looked at Eleos but shook his head. There was almost nothing to speak of with him, almost.
