April 7th, 2004 Today... was tiring. I slept in late, meaning that everyone else would recieve a late breakfast... Urgh!
Luckily, Amaya, Breeze, and I believe Zekke managed to get everyone fed, meaning that when I finally got out of bed (and notice that we were out of soda pop -- my way of waking up in the morning), everyone was fed!
I think Zekke's getting better control over his power -- telekinesis this time. There's no way Amaya and Breeze could move all that hay that the Equines eat... It's too much for them to move!
Anyway, when I managed to track the three down, they were in the Garden... Amaya's topic of choice today was roses. "Roses are commonly used as the symbol of love. This symbol is so widely recognized that it has a magical property -- love. Hence why rose petals are so commonly sought-out for by potion-makers for love potions...")After Amaya's lesson ended, Zekke and I walked back towards the pasture -- I figured today would be just as good as any day to start his training.
That is, until he broke away from me and dashed forward towards Sherbet, who had hooked his two forelegs on the fence's side, trying to lean forward for a better view of something at the cottage door. Of course, Zekke reached it before me. It appeared to be a bowl, yet it was difficult to tell... Zekke started rearing and whinnying happily when he found out what it was.
When I came closer, I found out it was a bowl... With something moving inside. Quickly, I got Zekke to settle down so he wouldn't smash the bowl. It turns out that inside was a fish-like creature... I found a note from my friend minkey55 under it, yet most of the writing was smeared off by the water on the outside of the bowl. gonk It turns out that the creature ("Tiilara" a voice whispered in my mind. It wasn't a chime like "Oceider!" though) is very playful... Once she see's you looking at her, she'll go into a frenzy of flips, dives, twirls, barrel rolls... you name it!
The rest of the day was spent with Zekke lying down in his stall, watching Tiilara.
I took it as a good moment to re-hindge Zekke's stall door... Now, if you pull on a rope from the inside, it'll open. Even though he could use his psychic powers to open the gate, it just might be easier if he can open the door himself... Though Zekke didn't seem too interested in the door, as he was all eyes for Tiilara.
When I turned to leave the stall, he snorted and made a somewhat demanding neigh. I'd forgotten I was carrying around Oceider -- it's now hanging off a ribbon around his neck.
Tomorrow we will get to work on jumping...
Or we'll paint eggs. Whichever we feel up to. xd April 8th, 2004 I have deduced that I cannot build things with wood.
You see, yesterday I thought I had hooked up a pulley-system to Zekke's door so he could get in and out when he pleased, but... Well, it turns out that the pulley system... Jammed the door shut. Amaya suggested that I knock out a wall to get him out (or at least that's what I could tell through her laughter), but Breeze just... Walked through the door. eek I keep forgetting that Breeze is metaphysical -- able to walk through walls'n'such.
Zekke seemed a bit startled by this and reared up slightly before calming down again. Breeze... smiled at Zekke, turned, then walked through the wall again. Zekke caught on and moved towards the door, bumping into it. He gave a whicker of dissatisfaction before blinking out of existance, appearing behind me... A nudge was all it took to send me into a startled yelp and onto the ground! xd
The rest of the day passed uneventfully. I attempted to un-jam Zekke's door, but I have had no luck...
So I just played with Zekke and the rest of my Equines out in the fields. heart
Raquell and Caelestis' two foals are growing stronger -- they're taking a bigger interest in their wings... Something tells me they'll go flying soon. I hope they won't mock Zekke for being wingless -- they're his closest friends, and can always be found hanging around each other.
Anyway, I gotta go -- Breeze tells me that they want to play soccer and need another person. Will write more soon!

Who has also found love for gardening... Yuki: A foal who is learning mannors to better herself day buy day. Not to mention go to any extent to get a blue berry bush... Turner: A carefree foal who enjoys chocolate and milk... Forest: A foal who wishes to fly; however, will settle for jumping... Bay Water: A foal who is new, but lacks nothing in strength. Not to mention she has a love for her bucket... Tallagor A foal whom has fallen for another, and enjoys a good romp in the field... Nightfall: A foal who loves the night sky, and whome gazes at the stars above... Valerine: A foal who will try and over come her fear of the dark... Taran: Jimbo: A foal who is good natured and loves to play...
- Click For Original Easter Special Post - SillyAngelKitty (owner of Yuki) We would like to meet Baywater and get to know her. We love Forest's color and would like to have a playdate with him. We would like to get to know Turner better to see what hes really like or if he is always a show off. We would like to learn how to garden with Zekke. We would like to learn more about flowers from Seline. We would like to get to know Lighting better. We would like to learn with Sati and Snowdrop. And Yuki is the best girl in the world. And I am happy that Hoshi has joined us. bronzed (owner of Tallagor) My thoughts on the Changlings...Snowdrop - It really interests me how interested in meditation she is. Lightning - It is interesting to me that Lightning can kick so hard, I wonder where he learned this skill, and if it has anything to do with his being found in the wild? Seline - It fascinates me that Seline knew to put that weed into the water! That weed creating a ghost was an amazing thing to hear about! Zekke - I think the most fun thing for me to read was about Zekkes reaction the first time he saw a miniature garden, that was so cute! and sweet! and funny! Yuki - I wonder where she learned her love for blueberries! I think its so wonderful that Yuki found Hoshi, they seem to care for each other so much smile Turner - I'm so worried about Turner and Mutaki! i hope they are alright!!! sad Forest - I cant wait to see him improve at jumping, maybe even getting good enough to win events! Bay Water - I wonder why exactly she likes that bucket so much! Not too sure but it sure is amusing xd Nightfall - Seems to be settling in slowly, is definately full of beans, but its nice to see her getting along with (or at least, starting to trust) Kaze already. Valerin - Well, Valerin has yet to put in an appearance anywhere, but i know how excited Kagome_Chan is about getting her, so i cant wait to meet her and get to know her. Taran - Although I havent heard anything from Rose about how shes feeling about being able to own Taran, or seen Taran myself, but i are still looking forward to meeting them both of them. Jimbo - Again, i have yet to meet either Jimbo or minkey, but minkey sure does seem excited to have been able to finally get a changling, i look forward to meeting both of them and getting to know them both. Last but certainly not least, my wonderful Tal - Tal has been a bright spot in every day i have spent with him. He is so beautiful, energetic, and what a runner! I just know one day only the wind will be able to keep up with him smile Marushii (me -- owner of Zekke. Durr!) The Sticky-note attatched to the Egg! Snowdrop - Snowdrop... A name that suggests a graceful snowflake, yet here is a perfectly happy, peaceful foal instead... Lightning - I've heard about the adventure Lightning had with his owner and stablemate! He's very brave, tramping into an abandoned, haunted place like that! Seline - A foal that dances within the rain without a care in the world... Also the flower queen! Yukiko - An adventurer, exploring places never trodden before! Makes me wonder where she'll go next... A city in the clouds? Nah... Turner - A foal with a thing for cows, chocolate, and milk! Rhythm of the Rainforest - A great leaper, who can already fly without his wings. Bay Water - A foal too cute for her own good! <3 Tallagor - The newest addition! He seems to be getting along really well with Zekke - I hope they become the best of friends! <3 Nightfall - A foal who watches the stars... Will she become a star herself with that climbing skill of her's? Valerin - A foal who is afraid of the dark - I hope that plush Zekke and I gave her helps! Though, if rumors are correct, I belive the plush glows... Creepy. Taran - A good kickball opponent! Zekke may be fast, but he won't last long against Taran's endurance! XD Jimbo - From what I've heard, he's shifty and crafty... I wonder how secure Minkey55 will have to make his stall to prevent his opening of his own stall door? Andromeda - We have yet to meet her and her owner, but from what we hear... She's a great problem solver. Something tells me that nothing will stop her, come quest and special time. Edit! Finally... Zekke. I luffs my Changeling, as everyday presents a new and unexpecting thing -- from lettuce-kicking to random "blinking" in and out. xd heart Sundragyn (owner of Seline) Now, I'm supposed to say something about why I like Seline? Um... Okay. I like Seline because she's eclectic. Although her element does seem to be water, she adores flowers and has a flower on her leg, which is sort of contradictory but beautiful and I love it. I chose to represent the watery-ness of her with rain, which makes flowers grow. And after all, she loves rainstorms. And there's a flower, which amazingly enough, Seline did not eat. As for the others: Snowdrop: I love the sheer awesome of an infinity symbol, I really do. That's all I have to say. Lightning: He's Trouble, with a capital T. Gonna be a ladykiller? Er, marekiller. Zekke: Seline loves him from a distance, if only because of another obsession with flowers. Yukiko: Blueberries! I wonder if she likes saskatoons... Turner: I've never heard of a horse that likes chocolate. Sweet. Pun unintended. Forest: It's great that Forest is so interested in jumping... also, GREEN. Green is nice. Bay Water: She's a clean little filly. I wish Seline was as neat. *glares fondly* Tallagor: Hard to know what to say about such a new little guy, but, hey, everyone loves kickball. Shiro Ookami (owner of Baywater) ::Baywater and Shiro come wondering in. Baywater looks around and finds the rest of the eggs. She walks over and places her egg with the rest.:: ::Shiro pats her on the head and thne places a note with it.:: Snow drop: Maybe meditation can calm Baywater's temper she sometimes throws. I should talk to Snowdrops owner. Lightning: Oooooo, pretty horn, goes good with the yellow color. Seline: Is she haunted by that ghost, or is it just the garden? I wonder... Zekke: He was nice enough to give me and Baywater a easter gift, thank you! Yukiko:Very pretty blue color... I just hope Oreg isn't that fond of his blueberries if they come out in his garden this year. We might find some missing if we have a visitor. ^.^;; Turner: Got to love That flag! Forest: I hope him and Baywater get to be good friends... Baywater: She's my baby, She can be annoying, but in a cute way. Stuborn, just like me. Heh. Tallagor: Don't know much about him, need to go find out. Nightfall: A horse that likes to climb... eek I want to see. Valerin: Scared of the dark, hmmmm... Maybe she should stock up with glow sticks... Taran: Need to meet! Jimbo: Need to meet! Mutaki (owner of Turner) o_o Good thing it isn't a real egg...it's actually just a rock we painted from my dead house stare Turner insisted on putting spots on it. Turner: *neighs proudly* Changlings Snowdrop: Meditation? I find it interesting that she enjoys that ^^ Lightning: Ah! I love his unicorn look! Seline: She might be a tad shy but I love the fact that she enjoys plants! I love that ghost! Zekke: Another that like gardening! Yuki: Mmm...blueberries? Forest: He seems to like the color, green and wants to fly too. Bay Water: She loves her bucket and hates the color green X3 Tallagor A foal that likes to feel independant Nightfall: Starry skys are beautiful! Valerine: We have yet to meet... Taran: We have yet to meet... Jimbo: We have yet to meet... TwinBladeShugo (owner of Lightning) List Snowdrop : Lightning has always wanted her speed cause he can't go very fast as we all know and he kinda likes her infinity sign too. Seline : Lightning also envies the skilled runner but what he most admires is how she got 2 elements from a foal. Zekke : *Whew...* Wow, another runner. Lightning is really impressed with the telekinesis thing and thinks its really cool. His colour totally fits him too. Yukiko : Yuki's colour source is very interesting. The blue suits her a lot. Turner : The fact that seperates him from the rest is the fact that he is that he is the only one so far that has his hooves colour changed 'Forest' : He's showing signs of becoming a pegasus, Mr. Nekota must have the tension I used to have before lightning became a uni. His great ability to jump is very impressive as well. Bay Water : I believe we've met. Anyways, Lightning admires her skill to pull stuff. He kinda see's mustang in her. *No offence* Tallagor : His ability as a good swimmer is very interesting and lightning is predicting that he could be a water elemental soon. Nightfall : The first changeling to have good climbing ability. Its pretty impressive to lightning. Kinda like the mountain goat I've shown him a few days ago. Valerin : She has the jumping ability thing too and I'm guessing, she might just be a pegasus someday? Taran : I like his battle ready thing. I've always wanted lightning to get that ability. crying Jimbo : He has the protectiveness of lightning too and lightning totally respects that and so do I. Lightning : Lightning, there is much to be said about this horse from me, I've spent a lot of time with him and he has shown great courage in any attempt to protect his gang. (Mustang, posiden, magnum and myself) He is very protective and has a thing for his protective abilities. He has also shown me great leadership. He orders people around but at the same time is very down-to-earth. Sayuri_Nitta List Lightning:A brave changling - seems to be growing into a powerful unicorn - maybe he can show Snowdrop how to be more courageous some day? Seline: A pretty nature loving foal from what I know, her flower markings reflecting her love for flora. Zekke A quaint little foal who would have a lot in common with Sati with those powers! Yukiko A pretty name for a pretty foal - she has a love of the colour blue I would say =) Turner A foal with a curiously marked coat - looks almost bovine then equine! Forest A foal who doesnt lack in love - such a wonderfully detailed set of plans and attention to detail =) Bay Water An intriguing coloured foal - who seems to have a temper and a knack for painting =) Tallagor Playful and spirited. Nightfall Wild and lively Valerin (not enough known about this one) Taran (not enough known about this one) Jimbo Jimbo seems to have a loving owner (with a biig house) Andromeda A foal with a celestial name. Finally... Snowdrop...well what can one say about a foal whose stall looks more like a room of a house then a stable? Skittish, but brave when she needs to be she enjoys sweet fruits and being fussed - she really should have been a cat rather then a horse! Her character is larger then she is... =) (edit as I forget my own daft foal *giggles*) Finit! (thanks for being so patient heh =) Kazaiko (owner of Nightfall) List Snowdrop- A foal that meditates, it’s a skill that my wildone could afford to learn. Lightning-I hope young Nightfall grows up to be as grand as Lightning has. Seline- She seems to enjoy flowers; perhaps I should plant some here in case she visits. Zekke- A psychic foal! Amazing. I love the color of his mane… Yukiko- She seems very sweet, and I think Nightfall will warm up to her. Turner- Perhaps we should send a cow plushie when the windstorm is dealt with… Rhythm of the Rainforest- Certainly seemed a bit mischievous when we met him at the HQ. But maybe he was just upset… Bay Water- Maybe I could get Nightfall a bucket for a toy too? Tallagor- Seems like he may be something of a flirt. I better watch Nightfall around him. Valerin- Well, her protector certainly seems happy about acquiring her. I’m sure she’ll be happy too. Taran- Battle Ready? I hope that’s never a needed skill… Jimbo- Hopefully, we’ll meet soon. And then there's my little one. Of course, I think she hung the moon. A bit restless, and that's ok, once she grows a bit, she'll be able to run off a lot of that extra energy. I'll show her the open fields, and the mountains. She's very sweet, and I feel calm when I'm around her. I hope she adjust to everyone, and makes lots of friends. I have faith that she will. Nekota-kun (owner of 'Forest') Nekota's Easter List Snowdrop: Haven't met her yet, but I hear she's good at running. We should have a race sometime! Lightning: A very handsome unicorn that we really need to meet sometime (such pretty yellow X3) Seline: I hope we can manage to befriend her, it's another foal we can have a race with! Though from what I hear, she's really shy... Zekke: Forest would really like a playdate with him - especially at Zekke's home, it seems so fascinating! Yukiko: It's too bad Hoshi is scolding her all the time, she's a nice filly that Forest really likes to play with. Turner: We've never met him, but he has the coolest cow-patterns to him. X3! Bay water: ... I hope she's done hitting Oreg in the face with her bucket. ^^; Tallagor: Haven't really met him either but we look forward to having a playdate sometime (him and bronzed seem awfully friendly.) Nightfall: I heard she's good at climbing, that would make for an interesting playdate - its sorta the same as jumping, right? Valerin: I hear she's another one that is a good jumper, Forest will have to visit her and challenge her to a contest. XD Taran: Don't really know much about him, but look forward to finding out. Jimbo: We don't really know much about him either, a new arrival, we'll have to wait and see. Kagome_Chan_16 (owner of Valerin) List SnowdropI like the fact that snow drop is curious about the things that go on around her, and is eager to learn. I also like her infinity symbol it really gives a strong bond between her and Sati. I hope they become great friends^_^ LightningI really know more about this one then the others^_^; mainly because his journal was the only one I got to before I received my Valerin, and I like the way he’s turning out, the stud^_~. SelineEven though she might be a bit of a show off I still enjoy, loves, and respects earth and water elements. Also her owner is very devoted to her little Seline and I respect that^_^ ZekkeI love his symbol; it reminds me of a night star. I also like that element that he has taken, telekinesis and mind reading are good attributes to have when you’re in a tight spot, use them well^_^. YukikoI love that she loves blueberries^_^, even though they make me sick sweatdrop , but anyways I hope that she will enjoy them forever. Bonzai ^_^ TurnerYay, cow spots ^w^, they are so cute^_^. The egg Idea was also awesome. I thought arrogance and bossy ness were on the same side though….it doesn’t matter I have both those attributes ^_^.**goes into song** Cows are great they make the world go round they make the cutest sound they go moo moo moo moo moo, cows are great **drones on** ForestI really like his room its very sheik^_^ and very themed O.O, but its beautiful and I like how it was designed. I also think that there should be more strong points to a horse named Rhythm of the rainforest^_^. Bay waterI like her name^_^, but to more important things, I like the way you both worked together on her stable I think that’s very cute^_^. Also I would think that her being such a nasty temper would be hard to get her to carry things around…she would have to be in a good mood wouldn’t she? TallagorTal seems like a very nice horse^_^, never met her yet and I would really like to though. Who knows maybe Val and Tal would be great friends someday ^ w ^. NightfallHey I guess its good that her name and good qualities fit, I bet that him being so super clean makes her coat shine like the night stars^_^. TaranI really want to meet all the horses, Taran included. Being battle ready is always a good thing, and I like that she has a need for speed^_^. JimboI really like the name^_^, it’s cute. I must meet them all U_U, you’re on mine and Val’s list. ^_^ AndromedaA horse that is new to the gang, im glad she has a long attention span because i dont sometimes^_^;, but i think we all gladdly welcome her to the gang^_^, i need to get you a coupon^_^; ValerinAnd last but not least, my baby((hyotheticaly speaking^_^ wink ), hopefuly one day she will overcome her fear of the dark, but that might take awhile......I can hope cant I^_^;, anyways i love her dearly, and her stall is under consturction but it will be up soon, i hope shel likes it , well unfortunatley im going by my taste, so i might have to adjust it abitU_U. Shes my pride and joy and i would protect her for as long as she needs it^_^. Rein_Carnation (owner of Andromeda) Snowdrop: A great individual that meditates and the symbol she carries is very intriging.
Lightning: Very brave and striking with his golden spiral to match his mane.
Seline: Quite remarkable how she is attracted to plants and ghosts too!
Zekke: I hear he’s a terrific runner and I like the Tele *looks at Andromeda as he shakes her head* you know what we mean...mind reading
Yukiko: All I can say is blueberries...
Turner: Moo...Love that cow thing you got going on there^^
Rhythm of the Rainforest: To fly so high without wings..yes you will go quite far
Baywater: I love the intriguing orange color..so charming
Tallagor: I hear he’s a good swimmer and a fast runner
Nightfall: A climbing horse?? Hey that’s really cool!
Valerine: I hear she’s a good jumper
Taran: A Battle Ready and a long distance runner? Now there’s a combination
Jimbo: Aww what an adorable name!!! Kawai!!
Andromeda: Lastly my curious baby. She’s so sweet and interested in everything I do. Though I fear her attention cravings will get her in trouble one of these days.

April 10, 2004 Zekke and I visited the HQ yesterday... He played kick-ball with Tal and Lightning (before he ran off), so methinks he has a new pal to horse around with! ...Okay, bad pun.
While Zekke was playing (and still is -- I can hear the ball thump against the side of my house as I am writing this) Ceres made me an offer... Well, not exactly an offer.
Let's call it a chance of a lifetime.
You see, Miss Ceres knows the Horse language. As a Kitsune, I can barely know what a horse is saying -- I'm better off knowing what a fox or other canine is saying. I can understand dragons as well, but that is just because they are wise, and know how to get their point across. With equines... Meeeh.
Anyway, Miss Ceres gave me a book on reading minds! I haven't gone over it with Zekke yet... I'm going to read a chapter of it, then run it over with Zekke later, when all his play-energy has been spent -- that way, he won't get extra-bored during the lesson and want to go outside. ^.^
Before starting, I lit a few vanilla scented candles... They smell good and relax the body! Anyway, after practically sinking into my big beanbag chair, I started reading... I'm taking a break from it right now to write this, as the stuff is... deep.
The book calls -- will write more later! Happy Easter! I gave Zekke a rabbit-plush for Easter -- he loves it! So much, in fact, that he carried it around everywhere! heart

Later he came back and looked a bit puzzled... So I had the joys of explaining Easter to him.
He seemed excieted by the idea that he tried speaking to me. Amaya eventually came in and demanded what the rukus was before translating for us. So! I made enough rabbits for all the other changelings and their owners... Now I'm drained. 'tis up to Zekke to get them there now! heart ((scribbled nonsense)) Zekke and I are exhausted.
I made plushes; he sent them to whoever it goes to using teleportation.
We're both lying on the pile of straw that serves as his bed.
It's just so... comforta -- ((here the pen seems to have trailed off in a line...)) April 12th, 2004 I woke up to Zekke nudging and rolling me over onto the group and off the comfortable hay... I suppose that's a good thing, as the hay left red criss-crossing lines on my face. gonk Hence why I wore my scarf the whole time...
Wait -- 'whole time'? That's right! Since was Easter, I brought Zekke to Barton town with Breeze and Sherbert... We hunted eggs! xd We were very lucky... We wound up with five baskets of eggs! You could trade in a basket of eggs for a hat... I traded one in, but the hat is... Meegh. Zekke thinks of it the same -- he tried to play Tug-o-War with it and Sherbert. xd Lucky, Sherbert was wise enough to let go as to not tear it... Though Zekke flew back a bit and crashed into the most handsome guy I've ever seen! heart
Though the guy was a centaur. Dratit. I managed to get his name, though! heart It's "Aravaris"... Pretty, ne? He might come visit! ((though by the look Zekke gave him, he's not too impressed))
*cough!* Anyway... We stopped by at the Changeling HQ to see what was up. Turns out there are four new Changelings! We hurried home after that and looked around for more of the bunny-plushies I made earlier this morning... We found them, but I believe Zekke sent them on their way too quickly... I hope this doesn't affect them in any way! I mean, what if they start... I don't know, glowing? That would personally freak me out...
Anyway... The stars were shining brightly last night... They're fading with the dawn currently. Anyway, Zekke and I wandered out and into the small forest to the northwest of the Barn... The forest was peaceful -- we could hear the dull roar of the waterfall, as well as the soft chirping of crickets. I thought this was as good of a place as any, so I took a seat on a fallen log and pulled out the book on mind reading Ceres gave me. By moonlight, I read the first chapter to him.
Zekke was restless and paced back and forth as I read, but eventually he calmed down and listened... Before snatching my bookmark and galloping off and into the forest.
Night makes things look different.
I was lost in the forest -- I only walked through it during the day. I was stunned -- all I could do was just... sit there and stare hopelessly at the spot where he vanished into. What now? My throat felt locked up with fear -- I couldn't speak, nor croak out anything in that condition.
The book felt heavy in my hands, reminding me of its presence. Slowly I opened the cover, returning to the part were I stopped.
"Believe it or not, you have probably read minds before -- granted, it was probably unintentional, but you have. First, take a deep breath and relax every muscle in your body -- this will channel your thoughts better."
I did everything the book said to -- relax every muscle in the body, clear your thoughts, take deep, slow breaths... Then think of who you were trying to talk to. .::Zeeke?::. I sang out, nearly breaking my "trance" -- it was the same voice I used in the "Dream" realm when I went to locate Zekke! .::Zeeke? Can you... hear me?::. I sang out again.Play! Chase! Warmth! Dark! Fast! Breeze! Play! Play! Run!A storm of bright emotions hit me, nearly sending me to the ground. The book slipped from my hands as I clutched the log, eyes wide. I couldn't believe it -- did Zekke just... "talk" to me, then? Granted, they were his emtions, but...
I didn't get to think longer. I felt a puzzling thought brush mine before Zekke pranced back into the clearing, my bookmark held in his teeth. He let it flutter to the ground near the book, allowing me to set it into its rightful place. "Tomorrow." I said, standing up with the book tucked under my arm. "We work more... tomorrow."
Zekke moved close, allowing me to throw my arm around his neck. I still feel dizzy from the shock of emotions... Zekke is now sleeping in his stall peacefully, or he's watching Tiilara. Whichever the case, he's safe and sound with the rest of the Equines there to watch him.
As for myself, methinks I'll rest a bit... And try to find a way to channel my own thoughts, as well as get used to the heavy mind "blows" of emotion like that.

April 12th, 2004 Zekke and I went to the HQ today. Zekke met Taran and two of Taran's friends (stablemates?) and played kickball with them... Inside, there seemed to be some disagreement over something Baywater did -- she's the foal with the bucket. It appears that the boy -- I didn't catch his name -- was hit by her bucket, and was very unhappy.
Poor Baywater... I think Shiro's going to try and get her not-so-attatched to that bucket. I'm tempted to try something, but I'm not sure -- it might make things worse.
But then again, what can I say? Might as well give it a shot.
Anyway, I checked my mailbox today ("Took you long enough!" Amaya growled from her perch on the top of the mail box.) Anyway, when I opened it... I was practically buried in the things everyone gave Zekke and I! He is very fond of the plushies, the cherries, and the egg Sir Shiro gave him! He was a bit puzzled over the custom ticket until I explained it to him.
Speaking of which, he wants to go to that and sort out the Cherry business. Be back soon! April 12th, 2004 - Mission - The Power of Thought pt. 2 The book Ceres is lending me is quite... intersting.Yes, I am getting this from a real book on mind reading. Seriously! Mind reading is one part of extra-sensory perception. ESP, as it is known for short, is divided up into four categories: telepathy (the ability to pick up and send thoughts - mind reading), clairvoyance (the ability to pick up information that is not known to anyone else), precognition or premonition (the ability to see into the future) and psychokinesis (the ability to influence a physical object or event using just the mind). A simpler way of putting it would be to say that telepathy is mindreading, clairvoyance second sight, and precognition divination. Psychokinesis (PK for short) is a little harder to explain, but gamblers try and influence the result when tossing dice. So... Zekke and I are working on telepathy... And Zekke has mastered psychokinesis -- or telekinesis... He can also teleport (as he decided to show me earlier -- I forgot to metion that he telported both of us back home from the HQ, didn't I?
According to the book... It basically says to be relaxed, calm, and focused. Also, you have to be relaxed, and think of only the person you're sending to... I went over this with Zekke, and he nodded in understandment. He's watching me through the window right now in the pasture -- I believe he wishes to go over this skill...
I'm a bit worried -- I heard rumors of a psychic-related pet arriving in a shop, but it hasn't arrived yet... But Zekke's wearing Oceider around his neck, so perhaps he can use him as a focus. Breeze and I agree that we get a cold feeling when coming near it -- perhaps it'll be ice-elemental?
At any rate, methinks tomorrow I'll ask to borrow Legolas from Tal'n'Bronzed -- he might be able to help focus Zekke's mind, since Breeze is assisting me with my own telepathy (as Breeze is an expert in that field). Tonight, methinks Zekke'll be calm enough to listen to what I read from the book. April 12, 2004 Something happened at the psychic-learning hour...
You see, it was my bright idea to have Zekke use the gem he loves so much as a focus for his powers.
But... Well, I'm tempted to say "But something went horribly wrong!", but it didn't. It turns out that as soon as we were going to start the lesson, the gem cracked!
In a short burst of light later, Oceider emerged from his gem as a small, hungry Dragolin! Breeze was affected too -- Breeze's pelt changed from grey and speckled to "SeaMist"... Blue and green. Breeze soon re-introduced herself as "Nasim"... "Nasim" is Arabic for "Breeze", so it wasn't that big of a change, ne?
Well, Nasim and I just settled Zekke and Oceider down for the night... Even though Zekke doesn't like strawberries, Ocei sure does! I informed them both that I would be gone for a couple of days... Nasim promised to take good care of Zekke, so we're in safe hands.
I have a feeling that Zekke would go a'wandering the Psychic Plane, so I wrote a note and had him transport it to the Changeling HQ -- someone will swing by and make sure everyone's fed and whatnot. n.n

"Guys! I'm baaaack!" Marushii called, pausing on the path to her house. "...Zekke?" She asked the air, her eyes widening slightly with worry as her changeling was no where to be seen. Sherbert looked up from his grazing in the pasture and whinnied a hello, immidiatly bringing Amaya onto the scene. "'Maya! Know where Zekke is?" Marushii asked, setting down the things she was holding.Amaya shook her head as she exited the barn, her green eyes staring into Marushii's blue. "Zekke..." She began. "Hasn't been around lately, nor has Nasim. In fact, they've been out for longer and longer..."Marushii sighed and picked up her gear, quickly entering the barn. She passed the empty stalls of her equines (who were all out in the pasture or taking a flight) before stopping in front of Zekke's. "Amaya..." She started, setting her gear on the ground. "What happened to Zekke's stall door?"Amaya grinned, purring. "Well, you see, since you jammed it, it was reasonable to un-jam it... We called in your sister Jessie-kat to see what she could do, and... It appears that she did, indeed, fix it."Instead of a wooden door to go along with the wooden stall, a lightweight piece of "plastic" filled the opening, a foot above the ground. The plastic was white in color, and easy to move -- now Zekke just had to push against the door either way to open and get out, as the door automatically swung shut again. "Amaya... Are you telling me that you called in my sister to replace Zekke's door... with a bar door?!""It's easier to get in and out now, though!" Amaya pointed out, pleased with the solution.Marushii sighed and shook her head before heading into Zekke's stall, setting down the items she brought with her. "Have any idea when Zekke'll be back, 'maya?" She sighed at the cat's head-shake before arranging the things around the stall. "Well! At least the things I bought for him will be waiting... As long as those things in the mail box. Hm." Marushii walked out and collected the recent gifts, returning a minute later to arrange them upon Zekke's shelf. "Here's some more things for him, too!" She said brightly before turning to one side, coughing."I don't like the sound of that cough!" Amaya hissed, striding forward to Marushii. "Now, you missy, are going to go LIE DOWN and REST. It looks like you brought a little bit of a cold back yourself as well. No matter! The herb Echinacea is the cure for the cold, no matter what people say... Now shoo! It'll take me a while to find it, so for now... Make yourself useful and REST!"Marushii grinned weakly and held her two hands up in defence. "Yes ma'am." She said, laughing softly before trudging off to her bed.Amaya sighed, looking around the stall door. "Hmph. Just my luck that the Echinacea herb doesn't grow here..." The fairy-cat leaped up onto Zekke's shelf and nosed around a bit, stopping at a music box that Marushii had bought for Zekke. The cat eyed the piece before giving it a nudge, jumping back with surprise as a soft melody played out. "...'The Last Unicorn'... Intere -- AHA! I'll wait for Zekke and Nasim to come back, then head out in search of the Echinacea!"((Zekke's new stuff!)) ((This music box plays "The Last Unicorn". Don't know what it sounds like? Click here! ((Later that night...))
Zekke carefully put his hoof down onto the plush carpet, leaning forward to get a better look at Marushii. Is she... all right? He asked Nasim telepathically, his voice somewhat shaky. He was still unused to speaking like this, yet with Nasim, he was picking up on it. She doesn't... look good. He added, walking up to the side of Marushii's bed. Indeed, the Kitsune had seen better days -- her skin was pale, yet extra-warm to the touch.
Nasim shook her head and jumped off of Zekke's back, waving him away. Go see to Amaya -- you said you saw her in your stall earlier, yes? The Taigi curled up next to Marushii, half-closing her eyes. She was focusing her gift; her talent onto her sleeping bondmate.
Zekke nodded, closing his eyes. In an instant, he re-appeared in his stall with a POP!, nearly on top of Amaya's paws.
"Watch it!" Amaya hissed, jumping up and out of the way. "And it took you long enough -- I was getting tired of waiting!"
You... were waiting? Zekke asked, one of his ears flicked forward and the other to one side. I'm sorry... Nasim... He paused, thinking. She says that my gifts haven't fully... developed. I got a vision of you... late. What is all this stuff?
Amaya stared at the changeling, her green eyes wide. "You... You spoke! Telepathically!" She let out a loud whoop before flapping her wings, going up and into the air to land on Zekke's back. "WHOOHOO! Marushii's going to be ESTATIC!"
Zekke turned his head, giving Amaya a flat look. You still haven't answered my questions. He pointed out. Marushii... Isn't well. Want to help, but I don't know... I know she left us for a few days... He paused, his gaze drawn to the floor as he shuffled one of his hooves. But... I feel that it's my turn to play Protector... Though, he added, a laugh in his voice, Perhaps this will be quite fun!
Amaya grinned and reached out with a paw, poking the back of Zekke's mane. "Well! Looks like you've grown up a bit! ...somewhat." She commented, praise warming her voice. "Though you're still a bit focused on games still... At least you're a step of Maru -- she can barely send out thoughts yet! But, the longer we stand her chatting, the longer she'll be sick... Normal recovery of this type of illness can take a while, as it's bound to come back again and again. So! Let's get rid of it for a good long while, shall we?"
Zekke nodded in agreement before taking a look around the stall. He paused, looking at the fish Miss Ceres gave him the over day. He watched it, head tilted to one side. Perhaps Maru could get him more like this... He shook his head, clearing his thoughts -- for this, he needed his concentration. (This is MY turn to be the Protector!) He thought, turning his head to look at Amaya one last time.
With a nod of her head, the pair vainished with a POP!

((My browser crashed and I lost my post... x____X; Hence this'll prolly be a short post... x.x Thanks Ceres! They're both beautiful~!!! <3))The world around then shifted, blurring and flexing before smoothing out into a wide prarie. Zekke snorted and looked around, his head tilted slightly to one side. This is... He paused, searching for the word. Strange.Amaya pried one of her eyes open before shutting it again, her ears back. "Tell me when the world stops spinning," she muttered, not feeling too well after the "trip".It wasn't THAT bad! Zekke protested, turning his head to look at Amaya. I just tried out a new technique, that's all! Anyway, is this it? The changeling turned his body around and walked forward, nodding to a small purple flower. "Nope. Zekke, the Echinacea is... tall. And pink. It'll be hard to miss, methinks... Instead of the petals tilted upward, the petals slant downwards." Amaya said, slowly opening her eyes to look at the flower Zekke pointed out. "Besides, that's a violet -- completely off-course.Zekke nodded before lowering his head, picking several of them. Even though they're violets, they still look pretty! He protested, raising his head to show the mini bouquet in his mouth. The changeling took a few more steps forward before stopping, his eyes half-closing as he sent out a questioning thought. Maya? Is... this it? He asked, sending her a picture of the plant. Amaya jumped up, her eyes bright. "Yes Zekke! That's it! Quick -- where did you find it?"Without a word, Zekke took off in the direction he sensed it in with all his speed. His hooves pounded the earth -- had the tall grass been shorter, he would flown. Soon, he slowed down before stopping before a cluster of tall pink flowers. Here we are! He said brightly, trotting up beside the cluster. Think you could grab a couple, 'Maya-maya?The fairy cat slowly unhooked her claws from Zekke's main before leaning over the side, slicing through a couple of the tall stalks, letting them fall over and onto Zekke's back. Amaya soon batted them into neat rows before placing a paw over them. "All right Zekke -- let's head back home... And next time, please please please PLEASE warn me before you take off like that -- I almost fell off!"Zekke neighed his laughter before closing his eyes, picturing home... In the blink of an eye, they moved from the prarie to Maru's cottage, in the "den". Zekke softly made his way to the kitchen, where Amaya jumped from his back to the table. The flowers soon joined her, moved there thanks to Zekke's willpower and mind. Without further ado, the pair began to work...

Marushii slowly sat up, rubbing her head. "Neeeugh... If having a *sniff* cold wasn't bad enough, methinks teh dreams that *sniff* come with 'em are worse." The kitsune blinked, snapping to full awakeness at the sight of Zekke, Amaya, and Nasim in her room. "What the -- what're you guys doing here?!" She demanded before turning to one side, coughing.
Amaya rolled her eyes. "No, we're just here to wish you good-morning." She said sarcastically, nodding to Zekke. "Ya know what to do."
Zekke nodded, before turning to Marushii. A goblet full of a slightly-pinkish liquid floated up and off the table he stood next to and over to Marushii, where she plucked it out of the air.
"Eh? A... goblet? I don't remember buying anything like this..." She started, looking up at them with a questioning look. She coughed again before taking a sip of the liquid. Her eyes lit up at the sweet taste, causing her to drain the goblet before she started coughing, her face blached. "EW! What an aftertaste!" She exclaimed, rubbing her throat and giving the goblet a wary look.
You're better! Zekke interrupted, surging forward to nuzzle his protector. You didn't look so good so Amaya and I went to go get the Enchin-herb-thingy to make you that drink so you'd get better and you did!
The goblet fell from Marushii's hand and clattered to the floor as she jumped forward to hug Zekke, tears stinging her eyes. "ZEKKE! Zekke Zekke Zekke! You spoke! You're telepathic!!!" The kitsune wagged her tail and hugged her changeling even tighter, ignoring the small chorus of "Aww!" in the background from Nasim and Amaya.
Zekke nudged Marushii's back, half-closing his eyes contently. Aye, I did... And there's still the matter of YOU speaking with me like this as well. C'mon -- get dressed, and I'll help ya! Trust me, mind-to-mind is muchly easier then voice.
Marushii released Zekke from her hug and nodded, rubbing her eyes in the process. "Okay!" She said brightly, just like a little kid. "I'll meet you outside in a bit then, Zekke!"
Zekke nodded and took a few steps back for room. With a toss of his head, he teleported out of the room and to the outside, in the pasture. The changeling neighed and reared up, striking a quick pose before rushing off with Asealoth and Ara'thiel for a quick game of kickball.

((Eee... I hate writer's block. =x *squishes it*)) Marushii closed the door to her small cottage behind her as she exited, her tail wagging. "Wow! That Echinacea herb really hit the spot!" She said cheerfully to Nasim, who was riding on her shoulder. "Usually Kitsune don't get sick -- I suppose when I went into the "Real World" I picked it up there... I'm sooo glad that's over!"The... "Real World"? Nasim asked, her head tilted to one side. But... I though you couldn't do... magic. The taigi paused, thinking. Then again, you SHOULD be practicing your telepathy. If Zekke can do it, so can you!The Kitsune chuckled before pulling one of the odly-shaped doors open. "Well, not all Kitsune are like this." She started, letting go of the door to open on its own. "You see, the more tails a Kitsune have, the stronger they are. I only have one tail, and I'm perfectly happy with my minor magics. Though, the only 'power' I have is being able to handle everyone here as their caretaker." She moved towards the other door, pulling it open. "Aside from that... I still have yet to figure out what else I can do." She gave the door a jerk before pushing it open completely, dusting her hands off when she was finished. "There! As for the mind-reading thing... I honestly don't know if I can do it. You and Zekke are naturals -- it's difficult for me to grasp."That's only because miss Nasim practiced with me. Zekke said, coming up from behind the pair with Asealoth next to him. That and Oceider served as my focus when I started... He gave an equine shrug, looking over to Asealoth. Asealoth says that for Unicorns, they use their horns as focuses when they're first learning their power. She suggests finding a focus as well... Though since you're a magical creature, it might be easier to find a magical item rather then a creature -- it'd be easier to focus that way, methinks.Marushii turned to stare at the two equines. "...That's perfect!" She exclaimed, turning around to dash back to Zekke's stall. "I've just the perfect thing!" She called over her shoulder before she slid to a stop, entering his stall. The kitsune bounced over to the shelf in the stall and bounced up on her tip-toes, peering over some of the things in front of the shelf. "Ah!" A moment later she pulled forth a wand, holding it up triumphantly. "Tah-dah! I forgot -- this came with your fish, Zekke."...Fish? Zekke questioned, his ears perked. His head snapped up as he felt the presence of two smaller beings, causing him to teleport to his stall in the blink of an eye. FISH! There's fish!!! He exclaimed, tossing his head happily. Marushii laughed, patting him on the head before sliding the wand into her belt, securing it. "There! After searching, I managed to find a shop with fish! They also sold these wands, so I kinda... picked one up..."Zekke nuzzled his owner before turning to Asealoth, whinnying the good news to her. In a moment she came in, her eyes bright as she watched the pair of fish swimming around in the tank. You know... You might want to be careful. Nasim cautioned, reaching up to tug lightly on one of Marushii's ears. If you're not careful, you might accidently set it off.Marushii nodded, closing her eyes. She took a deep breath, "Aye. Though we won't know 'til we find out, ne?"Nice try, but you spoke what you ment to think outloud."Drat it!"

((FINALLY.))
Marushii tossed her head, sighing. "Geez, we simply went up the coast... And we managed to get ourselves lost." The kitsune sighs before pausing. "Is it just me, or has it gotten a bit colder?"
"Dunno." A deep voice replied. "I think... I feel different, as does Zekke."
Marushii turned, her eyes wide at the sight of many snowflakes surrounding her companions. She stumbled back, soon tripping over a rock to land on her rump. "Zekke! Ocei!" She yelped, scrambling up as quick as she could.
When the snowflakes cleared, Marushii sat down hard again, her eyes wide and mouth agap. ". . ."
::What? What?:: Zekke demanded, stomping a hoof. Wordlessly, Marushii sent him a mental image of what he looked like -- a proud, playful Changeling, complete with a beautiful teal-blue coat. ::Hey-heeeey! I look goood!:: He preened, striking a pose before prancing around.
"I think it just gave you an ego boost." Oceider replied, lifting his paws to look at his long, sharp claws used to chisel ice. The dragolin's pink eyes lit up as he looked himself over, his excitement growing. "Think of all the things I could make! Now that I'm bigger... I can do more!" He exclaimed joyfully, joining in Zekke with his prancing.
"I think..." Marushii started. "I need a drink." The kitsune stood up before shaking her head and looking around. "All right, mateys! Here's the plan... I'll head into the pub and gather what kind of information I can gather. You two will stay out of sight, all right? Last I checked, there weren't many teal-blue horses running around... This is for your own safety, y'know?"
Zekke stopped his prancing, giving Marushii a dejected look. ::But Mar~uuuu!:: He whined.
With a sigh, Marushii walked over to Zekke and gave him a hug around his neck before kneeling, hugging Oceider as well. "Don't worry you two -- it shouldn't take me too long. Besides, we can still keep in touch via Zekke, no?"
Oceider nodded. "Yes. We'll remain here or near here... If something happens, let us know -- we'll be in there faster than you can blink!
Marushii laughed, knowing that with Zekke around... Anything could happen. "Just make sure you don't appear on a table or something, hey?" She joked, turning. "And don't worry! I'll be fine! Besides, I've delt with ruffains'n'whatnot before. Just relax and hide when someone comes around, eh?" She waved and walked towards the Inn and Pub, soon disappearing within it in the matter of minutes.
"I hope she knows what she's doing..." Oceider quietly comented.
::You're not the only one.::
::OI! I heard that!::

"HEY! I know you! You're one of Kagome's Kitsunes!" Marushii declared before pointing at the creature resting on the limb of a tree. The creature was about two feet long from tip to tail, covered in white fur with "dipped" teal markings. A flash of brown streaked from the tree and to Zekke's back, giggling before revealing itself as yet another one."ka-PRRRRING! You're right! I'm Ailessa, the rogue 'sune! Rogue as in the matter of theives, not outcast 'r exile 'r excommunicated 'r --""That's enough, Ail!" The other interrupted, rolling his eyes. "Geez, once she starts it's hard to stop her... I am Yoake, a Psychic. You, Zekke, need a mentor. I intend to fill that position."Ailessa blinked and turned her dark eyes toward her companion. "You! You're too blunt for your own good!" She declared, all three of her tails swishing to one side.::Marrruuuu...:: Zekke started, twisting his head around to peer at the kitsune perched on his back. ::What... what ARE they?::"We are Kitsune -- demon foxes." Yoake interrupted, climbing down from the tree and looking up at Zekke. "Your companion there -" He motioned to Marushii, "- is part one."Marushii nodded. "In name only -- I don't have many of the powers that most kitsune have, such as shapeshifting and the ability to create fire."Zekke nodded his head in understanding before Yaoke continued. "First off, you'll need a new focus for your powers. I understand that you had a white gem -- can I see it?"At this, Zekke shifted his hooves. ::Well, you see... It kinda.. um... Hatched into a dragon.:: There. He said it. Yaoke blinked in surprise, his ears perked forward. "Come again?""He's right -- the gem... Turned into a dragon. A dragolin, to be exact -- his name is Oceider, and he has a talent with ice. He even makes ice sculptures!"The kitsune simply... stared.::Hey! You'd be amazed too if you can carve things out of ice with your bare claws and actually make something that looks good!:: Zekke shot at him, pawing the ground. "Hey now! All of you RELAX!" Ailessa chirrped, raising a paw and guesturing. "Besides! North-east from here there's a well -- I believe I saw something shiny down there when Yoake and I were walking around!" She paused. "Well, not exactly walking around. You see, I kinda took this one guy's wallet --""Enough!" Yoake cut in, looking a bit flustered. "We'll go to the well. Despite her quirks, Ailessa only brings up things like that when they're important. I'm deciding it's important enough to go check it out, so that's what we're going to do. All right? Right -- let's go."Zekke nodded, taking a breath and relaxing as finally someone else got to do the teleportation work. ((After teleporting...)) Date Unknown. Location: Well. Wow. With all the running around we've been doing, it's difficult to find some time to actually, oh, I dunno, sit down and write! It's even harder when you have a certain Rogue reading over your shoulder! *ahem*Ailessa*ahem*
Good thing she can't read, right?
Anyway... ((after several pages worth of summerization))
So! That's how things stand now... Yaoke teleported us to a well. Oceider met us there... How? He showed us a picture in the book... Yoake transfered the picture here so I can keep it a memory.Creepy, huh? It's like it KNEW Zekke would show up there... As you can see, Zekke is looking INTO the well. Yoake bade us to come over and look in... Which we did. There, at the bottom, something was gleaming. Remember that wand I have? Yoake told me to hold it out over the shiny thing as best as I could with the tip in the water, pointing at it...
Here, we got a lesson on Telekinesis.
To make a long story short (well, a minute-long story short), we raised the shiny thing up and out of the well... Yoake copied it here, too, so you can see, dear reader. What is it exactly...? It's a hair band! Ailessa and I could see that easily while Zekke, Yoake, and Ocieder stared at us. Aile and I immediatly grabbed the shiny thing and put it into Zekke's mane! The first thing Zekke said when he wore it? "I LOOK LIKE A GIRL!!!" ( xd ) Alie and I couldn't stop laughing for several minutes -- Ocei was hiding his head in the book... I think he was laughing too. ^^
Yikes! I'm starting to run out of page... I better wrap it up quickly! Yoake said that both of us will need training, just in case we run into that mob again. Why did they chase after us so quickly, though? Superstitious Sailors? Pirates? Probably. Yoake said that we'll next go to a "safe place" further north. I wonder what we'll find there...? 'til next time!

I really have NO idea what day it is. Location: Abandoned Tower. ...my feet hurt. After the well, Yoake forbid us to use our psychic powers. It turns out that the well is RIGHT next to the Mystic Grove... Meaning that anything was possible as to what could happen to us if we played around with higher powers. At any rate, after a long boring walk east then north, we've arrived... at an abandoned tower.
Granted, we passed an abandoned castle on the way, but Yaoke forbid us to go near it. Is there something deep within? I really want to go and find out, but Zekke agreed with Yoake on that matter.
And to re-enforce his opinion, Zekke took my scarf and galloped off with it, away from the castle! After several minutes of chasing, we came to where we are now. The tower is pretty muchly... wrecked. It's in ruins. But it's still stable to hold us... I'm with Ailessa on the third floor of the tower, sitting in the windowsill. I can just glance to one side and see the sea! It's truely amazing -- not to mention breath taking!
Below, Yoake and Zekke are running through some of the "simple" exercises. These range from lifting things to changing its color to reshaping it... Now, looking down at Zekke, I'm amazed. He was, at first, just a little grey foal... Now he's growing up into a big blue psychic horse. Or unicorn? Pegasus? Allicorn? I keep forgetting that he's not you usual equine. For all it's worth... Zekke could suddenly sprout butterfly wings someday!
Yoake turned his attention to us now... I think he's about to make Zee --Quote: ((It appears that her pen trails off!)) ARGH! THAT KITSUNE! He just HAD to have Zekke pick me up, lift me down several stories, then place me on the ground!
...Though I have to admit, that WAS fun...
BUT AT ANY RATE! Yoake just informed me that I'm to search the tower for anything useful with Ocei while he helps Zekke perfect his techniques. Well... he's hoping will find something interesting!
