Grip of Death Congratulations on making your decision, October. It seems like you were well versed with the options that were available. Please do update us whenever you get a chance. Sorry your mom is extremely pro-life. I will be updating pretty much every day. In fact, I was about to update with a little humor, since I'm in a pretty affable mood. LOL. Sorry, I started cracking up about the mom comment. I get that apology a lot from people. I don't know if she's on the extreme of pro life, or more extreme pro-grandkidslikenowplzthnxbai, since I will be the only one passing down her lineage.

Aww, thank you. I try. I've got a really poor quality digital camera, but I've learned how to set it to work it's magic. I love taking pictures. I also posted my art work in the fcf for everyone to see. heart

What a really fabulous idea!
I kept a journal (just in a text file) when I was going through the decision and procedure of my surgical abortion a couple of years ago, and it was beneficial for myself if no one else. I tried submitting it to some site... myabortionstory.com or some such, and it never got published. cry I bet I still have it on my hard drive, if anyone cared.
And I second the uber cute couple comment. smile

Probably sometime in the next week. We'll find out tomorrow when. I'll also be posting when I was due and other interesting information. I'm just really bummed about Aaron not being able to come to councilling and such, since it is 50% his too.
By the way, I got a pm from someone who saw the banner and offered support. I feel like a brick wall lately. Tomorrow will be pretty harrowing for me.

I support you with your choice. And I'm glad to see something like this. The entire abortion process tends to be shrouded in myth because of the shame so many are made to feel by religious zealots and overbearing parents (such as your own) that the truth of the procedure and what it is like to go through it given by a source willing to share it all is a rare occurance.
Also just a side note:
Whatever you do don't even begin to ponder or surmise what you might name some future child of yours... Because if you plan to have kids one day and would name your little girl ___ or your little boy ____ the lifer's will start making sigs mourning the death of little ___.
Keep it impersonal unless you want harassment about precious little ___'s horrible death and how s/he'll be so missed.

Talon, what makes you think that the lifers will harrass her? They might leave her alone, lest they bring the collective wrath of the pro-choice on them.
