Chiboa noticed the flicker of pain in Jamaa's eyes, although stayed quiet. He didn't want to ask, or know.
"Who are these Kiji and Yuka dogs, and what have they any need with Imal?", Chiboa asked, curiousity crawling into his icy blue eyes. "Deal with her?", he questioned.

"I am not so sure myself, Chib. It seems Imal did something Yuka, my sister. When Kiji and I were talking, Imal showed up and it just went down hill from there." he trailed off at the end. "Don't ask Jamaa, I just don't know that much nor would I wish to indulge into another's problems unless I must." Jamaa's golden eyes turned away.
"This is just something that the three of them have to settle. We should not get involved."

Chiboa nodded slightly, although curiousity was tugging at his ragged and unkept pelt.
"I see", he mumbled, confusion flaring in his eyes.
She would have told me about this, wouldn't she?, he thought. His eyes trailed off for a moment before he shook his grey fur, and his eyes laid upon Jamaa once more.
"Thank you for sharing this with me, Jamaa", he said with a small nod.

"The pleasure is mine, Jamaa is sure. I'd rather not have a friend lose his mate from something as trivial as this." he nodded. "Imal seems like a sweet dog, you're lucky, Chib." he commented.
Somewhere in him kept telling him to go back home to Temari. Just to be with her. To embrace her luxurious golden fur. To waft her wonderful, familiar scent. To just be in her presence.
"So tell me more about Imal. What do you think of her?"

Chiboa twisted his head to the side in confusion, but remained silent.
He felt a breeze brush through the savannah and whip through his stangled fur. He breathed in, relaxed and more open to Jamaa than before. The young male dropped down to the floor and waved his legs in the air, enjoying the breeze.
"Imal?", he said, nearly coughing as he jumped back to his paws and shifted his weight. "She's ..", he paused, ".. wonderful. And yet, I am not sure if ...", he trailed off, looking blankly toward the red bathed horizon.

""If" what?" he asked curiously. What stopped teh wild dog from talking about Imal? "What is it, don't want talk about your mate to another male?" he teased, almost mockingly, yet still playful.
"If ya don't want to talk about her than alright." he said shrugging, "Sad that a mate can't talk about his mate openly. A shame really." he said a sly grin, "Oh well~"
Perhaps Goma's habits had rubbed more onto him than he thought.

If she really loves me, Chiboa thought silently.
His fur bristled in response to Jamaa's criticism. Chiboa's eyes turned icily onto Jamaa's. He lashed his tail from side to side and pressed his claws firmly into the earth, so as to stop his immediate reaction; to send them down Jamaa's eye.
"You know nothing of my business", he growled, displaying a pair of sparkling white teeth.
The rogue spun around and trotted angrily away.

"Oh come on, Chiboa, it was only a joke! Come back!" he called out. Perhaps he had gone too far with this one. The older dog let out a heavy sigh, "Sorry, Chib." he said for what's worth.
He rose to his feet and started back to his home, at least he'll have Temari with him.
"Until next time, Chiboa, mate of Imal."
