I read A Great and Terrible Beauty because I knew that Libba Bray was one of Holly Black's friends, and therefor would probably be worth reading. I was instantly hooked. I could barely put the book down, and I finished it in a few hours. The library, being dumb, hasn't gotten the second one yet, but as soon as I find it somewhere I'm going to read it.

There is a third book coming out! It is called A Sweet Far Thing. I don't know when it comes out, but it should be soon.

Has anyone read Primate the Prom? It's Libba's short story in a compilation called 21 Proms. I really liked the parallels to current civil rights issues in the story.
