Usu looked back at her with a corner of his eye and a grin on his face, "We'll see who's right, Saa. Just you wait and see." Perhaps his visions have became more clear to him...or he's just making assumptions from the already blurred ones.
He too was plagued by bad memories, all of them fused onto his body with his birth mark. The yelling of the pack members. The cries of the pups and the laughter too. But what hurt the most was the cry of his mother...But somewhere in there was a snicker, to who it belonged to who knows. The faces of each member of that pack was already faded from his memories, but the event still haunted him in his dreams. Why was he given this mark, why was he suppose to be happy? Why couldn't he be a normal wolf, born from another pack where no such traditions were at.
"Saa....why do you listen to the gods...?" he whispered, staring vacantly at the ceiling.

Saa placed her head on her paws and turned her muzzle away from him. He really had so much faith in Zingatia? She surely didn't Her heart still pined for him but she knew that he would never come back. The femme had resulted in trying to move on but it still hurt. Her tail curled between her legs as her eyes filled with tears. She didn't want Usu or her pups to see.
"I just want to forget about him."
Her ears went back against her head as she lay there. Trying to blink back tears, she thought of a way to answer his question.
"Because I was taught to. I thought they would...help me."

Usu huffed, "Gods....they care no more but themselves from the ones I've met. They are self-centered..." he stopped, maybe this isn't something to be said to a strong follower of the high dieties. "I just don't like them, look at me, they have gotten me nowhere in life. Now my shoulder hurts as if I had done something wrong again."
"If the gods really do care for either of us, they will make Zing come back!" he shouted and then sort of shut himself up. I have forgotten the pups are still here.... he thought, his azure eyes turning to them. Oops...
"Saa, forgive me...I have not done that in a long time..." his head dropped and his ears swiveled back. "Gods have been nothing but for me.

Saa sighed as tears dripped down her muzzle. It was too much to handle for the older wolf. Her tail was plaster against her stomach as Usu spoke. Something that he said struck deep within her.
"They've gotten me nowhere...as well."
The wolf sniffed and her eyes shut tight. It was so hard to believe that the gods had abandoned her. Had it been what she had done that had driven them away? Was it her own misfortune? Or had it been what she and her brother had done?...
Saa whimpered as she thought of her home and curled into an almost impossible ball. "I've done some many things wrong. The gods must be so angry with me..."

Usu flinched, he didn't expect Saa to react to such an extreme. Perhaps he should not have outbursted to such a strong follower. Usu sat down beside her when something hit him. He looked down thinking it was Potevu wanting to play, it wasn't. He looked around and the pups were not near him, Saa was curled up so it could not have been her, what was it? Suddenly it hit him like a ton of bricks, his shoulder twisted in pain and his body racked with the hurtful feeling. Usu kept his maw shut not to startle any of teh females, but he couldn't, "...ugh..."
Nothing...Darkness....null, nothing, naught, void....usu stood in the middle of nothing. His sapphiric eyes gave off a very dim glow and he scanned around in the darkness.
Off in the distance he saw something....a few somethings. The first one he saw was a figure with a bright green aura, he feeling she gave off was warm and loving. The one beside her was a figure witha orange tinted black aura, it gave off a loving and warm feeling, but at the same time a growing dark gloomy one. And in front of them was a figure with an aura so different. It was strong and commanding, loving and compassionate. It's color was an aray, not one or two, but many....who were they...Usu stepped closer.
Usu laid motionless beside Saa, eyes closer, legs sprawled out.

Saa was close to sobbing when she felt that something was wrong. The female wiped her eyes with a paw and turned to see Usu sprawled next to her. Panic swept over the wolf as she quickly righted herself. Looking over to her pups, she tried to speak in a barely audiable whisper to him.
"Usu? What's wrong?"
Her tail lashed behind her as she scooted closer to him. The mother buried her muzzle into his shoulders and whimpered.
"Usu..."
Saa felt new tears form as she drapped a paw over his form.

Usu stood before the three figures. "Wh-who are you?" he asked. No reply. "What are you?" No reply. Were they ghosts? Were they just a thought yet to be true? He reached out and they suddenly moved away without even moving, it was strange.
Usu turned to the green aura figure, "I feel like I know you...who are you?" The black figure's, what looked to be, maw moved but with no words. "Are you....someone I know?" he repeated, and it mouthed the same thing over again. He stopped asking but she still continued to mouth the words, "Mother."
Usu turned to the dark orange aura figure and asked him the same question, he mouthed a word that was unable to be made out. He mouthed the word but it seemed to be different every time. One word was "Forgiveness."
Usu turned to the many colored aura figure. It's presence was warmand inviting, but it still gave off the stern feeling that made it comfortable. However, this one he felt he barely knew. "have I met you before?"
"Yes." it responded.
"Do you remember me?" he asked, surprised that this one repsonded. But what was strange that when she spoke, its maw didn't move to the word, it mouthed another.
"Yes."
"Can you tell me your name?"
"No..." usu focused on her maw to make out the word. It spoke...."Leader."
Usu's face twisted in pain, eyes sealed tight, tail flicking frequently.

Saa nestled against him and watched his condition worsen. It pained her to see him in such a way. The grey wolf had helped her though so much and she felt so helpless that she couldn't help him. She began to slowly lick behind his ears to try and soothe him in his troubles. She wondered what went on in Usu's mind as she tried to pull him closer to her.
"Please wake up Usu."
Her voice shook with unknowing, her tail lashing. "Wake from this damned nightmare."

The green aura figure stepped forward when, what looked like, its eyes opened. They were bright yellow, almost piercing. She stepped past the other two and closer to Usu. He stepped back when she stepped closer. The other two figures seemed to have disappeared when she got close to Usu. It was defiantly a girl. She reached over to his ear and spoke, "Please wake up Usu." Usu's eyes widened when he remembered the voice. "Wake from this damned nitemare." she spoke again.
"Saa?" he said, jerking his head up, hitting it off Saa's and bounced it on the ground with a thud. "Ow!" he shouted, rubbing it. Usu looked up at her frightened face, "Saa? What's wrong?" he asked, "And why are you hanging over me like that?" he added completely oblivious of what had just happened to him....as if it were a dream.

Saa desperately shook the wolf beneath her. She didn't know what was wrong but it certainly wasn't good. She didn't realize that the grey wolf had woken until her maw snapped closed on her tongue. The female yelped in suprise and pain to scuttle back on her paws.
A drip of blood ran down her chin as she tried to speak. "You were in some sort of trance..." Her tongue wiped across her maw leaving a bloodied streak.
"I couldn't wake you."

Usu flinched, he hurt Saa! He licked at the blood streak in a way of apologizing, "I'm so sorry, Saa! I didn't mean to hurt you." He added. He was scared that he hurt Saa and with a permanant affect.
"Let me see." he pleaded. He had to know if what he did would scar her or worse. He was frightened what was he doing to have this happen? A trance? He thought back.
"Saa, what are you talking about. All I remember was that you were laying in the corner." he said, "I probably decided to lay down or something." a trance that he didn't wake from?

Saa could still taste blood on her tongue even as it lolled from her mouth. His licks were happily accepted. "It's nothing serious Usu." Her tongue ran slowly across the roof of her mouth. "It doesn't hurt too much either." She nuzzled gently under his chin, trying to show him that she wasn't hurt.
Saa tried to remember everything that happened to paint him an accurate picture. Her face contorted as she thought.
"Well. We were just talking and then all of a sudden you froze." Her old mind seemed to be failing her and some of the details were already lost to shock. "Then you froze up and I don't think you even heard my voice anymore."

But he did...He heard her voice clearly, but it wasn't her talking...he remembered vaguely of something green...but could not remember but it wasn't Saa. Usu's ears folded back, he was still worried. What is wrong with him? First his dreams were nothing but that, dreams. Then they got more intense after each one and then suddenly it grew weaker and now it came back at full power to the point of not even remember it and affects on his body. He didn't want this, he wanted it gone!
Usu laid down and whined, he caused trouble for those around him and often times those troubles come back to haunt him. "I'm still sorry, Saa..." he said, "If anything would happen to you then your pups...." he cut off not wanting to say what would happen if he had done something.

Saa looked about her den. Such an odd situation that she had gotten herself. "Don't worry Usu. I'll make sure that I will be here for my pups. Nothing will happen to me."
It was the first time in awhile that she had blamed something on her own free will.
The female tried her best to think of something that would aid her helper. Usu was so kind and caring but these...attacks seemed to be making him tired. Saa looked back to her pups who were casually resting together and, thankfully, oblivious to the situtaion
"Potevu. I think your uncle needs you."
Pot opened a soft blue eye at her mother's voice. She hadn't been asleep but her full stomach was making her quite tired. The pup bared her small white teeth in a yawn before lifting her head.
"Wassa matta?..."
Pot stood and, in quite a Saa like fashion, shook purple fur out. Her eyes still reflected sleep as she stumbled closer to the pair. "Unkal?" THe sleepy puppy hoped over Usu's paws with a laugh. She licked at his nose before settling down beside him and yawning. She was still quite tired after all.

Usu smiled at her with his sapphiric eyes and pulled his niece close to him. She was so small and fragile yet her heart was big and innocent. She was a mere pup but he could tell that her life was that of a fine female.
"Go to sleep, honey. You need your rest." he said nuzzling her softly.
His attention returned to Saa. "Saa, I was wondering. Would it not be safer to move to my den?" he asked. All his life has been in that den and there was nice game around it too, "The Acacia Tree gives nice shade during the day and it's protected from the sides with the hills." he said, staring down at the innocent pup beside him. "I can't tell you what to do with your pups. You carry their best intrest and know the best choices to make."
