“I don’t trust him.” She thought flatly. “But, that doesn’t mean you can’t. It’s alright.” If Logan was truly a friend of Echo- then, in time she’d come around. Ophelia felt she had to be the skeptical one. She couldn’t allow them to place their trust in another false person again. But if Echo trusted him, she would trust Echo’s judgement. That didn’t mean, however, she had to trust Logan. “I trust your judgement.” She thought again, before diverting her eyes towards the male.
She was glad that he had kept his promise. For that, she would have never forgave. “Echo says that things were not good between you before- what is your business here?” She spoke simply.

Logan smiled adn wagged his tail. His eyes darting between Echo adn Ophelia as they seemed to have a mental bond, and were able to speak that way, though he had no idea what they were saying. He still got teh feeling that Ophelia didn't like him very much.
Though he smiled and had to restrain himself from play-pouncing forward, because he saw Echo smile again. Seeming happy he didn't break his promise, he'd never break that promise to her. He'd never be able to forgive himself if he did.
But Ophelia's outward statement/question took him a bit offguard. True, Echo and Logan got a bit separated when he was walking her home, both confused and caught up in emotions they were both feeling but couldn't understand.
So he stumbled for the right words to say, "It was getting late the last time we met..." he looked towards Echo for a minute, trying to remember the exact details, "I think that she wanted to get home quickly...to you, to not have you worry," Logan said with a nod.
But now he had to answer the second question...
"I came to see Echo, to not break my promise. I-I wanted to see her again," he said stumbling, which made his voice sound funny for a moment , "I wanted to make sure you and Echo were alright." He said truthfully, and he didn't mean it in a way that it would seem that he thought Echo and Ophelia coudn't fend for themselves...he just wanted to make sure they were okay regardless.
He also wanted to ask them if they had given any thought of going back to the pack with him, but he wasn't sure if he should. Ophelia seemed a bit 'odd' while he was there. Protective yes, but she seemed aprehensive about him being there.

Echo gave a small nod to her sister in response. She understood why her sister didn't trust Logan. He was a random male that was suddenly showing interest in the pair. They had had bad experiences in the past, and it seemed that Ophelia wasn't healing quite so fast as her twin. But that was alright. They would get through this together.
Then, when the male explained why he was there, she watched him closely. He seemed to be speaking truthfully when he said that he wanted to see her and he wanted to make sure that they were doing fine. It was thoughtful, and being as she was she saw no problem in it. He was just worried, right? There was nothing else? No hidden reason behind all of this? Unable to be sure, the omega turned her attention towards her sister. There had been something she noticed with Logan, and she was anxious to tell her sister.
"He's nervous, I can smell it," she whispered, watching Ophy for a moment. "I think he has something else to say, but I don't know what it might be."
Her heart pounding in her ear, she felt her blood run hot. The cogs in her brain started to move as she sat there, watching Logan and listening to his words. He looked at her that way again... there had to be something more than just polite concern.
"Ophy... he keeps looking at me that way. What is it?" she asked, oblivious to what love actually was though she was starting to feel it.

Ophelia watched the look with the cold eyes of a scorned woman. She shifted just slightly, feeling the bones in her neck pull, before turning them away and gazing at a brief spot of weeds growing into the cracks of the den wall. “He has something to say to you, but I expect he does not wish to say it in front of me.” She spoke. About his pack again, or love for Echo?
Love- did she see love in those eyes? Her bitterness clouded her judgement, and she could not. Although she was faintly aware of it’s presence.
“If you return the look, I should think it is a good thing.” Ophelia thrummed. “But if you do not- then it is not. And if you don’t, I think we should go.” If Echo had no love for him, then who knew what sort of thing this wolf could be capable of?
“If you have something to say to my sister, you should say it. She would like that.” Ophelia spoke a bit out of turn, having not waited for Echo to tell her what to say. Perhaps it was a compulsive reaction to her twin’s feelings- or maybe Ophelia herself was curious as to his intentions. “If you’d like, I can leave.” She spoke. “But speak. Too much time is wasted on silence.”

Logan was feeling a bit nervous, out of place even. Trying to devise what order he should say things, to make them sound better. Even Ophelia's offer to leave troubled him, but he shook his head at that statement,"You don't need to leave Ophelia, your Echo's sister...you deserve to know anything I have to say," he said confidently, knowing that hopefully Echo and Ophelia would both agree on his boldness that was to come in just a few seconds.
He sighed and tried to place his tongue on the words he wished to speak, "I came back here, to not break my promise and for another reason....to see if...both of you had thought anymore on the idea...of coming back with me to the packlands I reside in..."
Logan stopped for a moment, his tail curling as he thought of how to continue, "I just..." nervousness running through his veins, wondering if he should say what he felt.
"I came back...to see you Echo..." he said, his eyes turning to her as he smiled softly. "Because...I," he was stumbling now, probably looking for a fool rather then looking hansome and appealing to Echo as he wished to be, "I really like you Echo...in a way I've never known before..." he said trailing off.
His gaze fell to the ground as he pawed at it with his right paw and sighed. They both probably thought he was a fool, what if Echo didn't feel teh same. Logan didn't know if this was love, he never knew what it was like to have that type of caring ability so deep for one wolfess. Something inside him told him, that that could be what he was feeling towards Echo.
But he wondered what Echo and Ophelia would say...

Echo listened to her sister's thoughts, and became quite confused. How could she know whether or not she could return the look if she didn't know what it was? Her sister hadn't really explained it.
"Sister," she began again, folding her ears back in confusion. "You didn't answer my question. What is it?"
It wasn't that Echo was stupid or anything, it was that she was sheltered. She had only met a couple of wolves outside of her family, and none of the encounters had been so long. Her 'relationship' with Logan was probably the longest sort of relationship she had had with any outside wolf, and they had only seen each other a few days.
"I can't return it if I don't know what it is. Though, I admit, I'm feeling something."
Turning her gaze on the male, she managed to catch his words, and most of them it seemed. He was still wanting them to go back with him, but Echo knew that her sister would be very reluctant. It also seemed that he was having some sort of confession, and apparently had deep feelings for her. Blinking, the omega couldn't help but lean into her twin for comfort.
"Ophelia... I'm scared. What... I don't know what's happening." But they couldn't stand there silently like bumbling idiots, so she shook her head a bit and glanced up at her sister.
"I won't go without you, sister," she said truthfully. "I need you."
She hoped Logan didn't think her strange or stupid for acting this way.

She had felt as much that this would be what Logan was getting at. She didn’t say anything towards him and drew a thin line with her mouth, her yellow eyes squinting and her head bowing. “I would not leave you Echo.” She spoke. “What it is that you want, we will do.” Echo seemed hesitant still. To Ophelia, that was her sign to push them both away- but, she also knew it was unlikely Echo even knew what she felt towards the male, whether good or bad. She didn’t know herself about such feelings. The only person she loved was Echo, and she’d be damned if someone else tried to change it. How had she become so bitter?
“If you didn’t worry about anything and could do what you’d like, what would you do? Would you go with him?” She asked. “But either way I’ll go with you.”

Logan's ears folded back in consideration. Echo and Ophelia seemed to be discussing it amongst themselves, Echo seeming a bit hesitant. Being close to her sister. He sighed sfotly, he truly envied their sibling closeness, he never had that.
The wind blew gently as he shifted himself, his tail swayng behind him a bit as he waited. Ophelia didn't seem to want Echo to jump into anything, understandable, and they both seemed to not want to leave eachother, also understandable.
He felt bad for cuasing such a fuss and confusion. He wasn't sure what to do anymore.
He didn't want them to leave eachother, thus why he invited both of them. But he wanted to be on good terms with Echo as well as Ophelia, in case the feelings Logan felt turned into something more, and he and Echo would later have a relationship.
Logan wanted to do what he felt was best...but perhaps he was wrong to do what he did.
"I'm sorry...I just...I thought I should ask..." he felt like an idiot that had overstepped his bounds. "I don't want either of you to give up the life you have if your accustomed to it, I don't want to compromise your closeness to eachother..." he looked at the ground, his tail no longer swaying.
Maybe he shoudn't have asked so soon.
"I'm such an idiot..." he grumbled and mumbled to himself. Quite softly so that perhaps Echo and Ophelia wouldn't hear it.
"If you don't want to come...I understand..." his heart ached when he said that. He didn't want to leave again, and have to say good-bye to Echo again. He didn't want to...he wanted to be with her...closer to her.
But Logan wanted to do the right thing.
He wanted them to go back with him.

Echo's twin still hadn't explained what the look or what the feeling was, but she was beginning to figure it out a little. Apparently, Logan had some sort of feelings for her, and she thought that she felt something in return. But she wasn't sure. This was all new to her. Was she supposed to express the feelings back to him? But what if they weren't the same and she made a fool of herself... there were too many possibilities.
Glancing at her sister, she listened to her words and folded her ears back. If she didn't have to worry, things would be so much easier. But that wasn't the case with this. There were so many things to worry about for the runt, like how to get Logan and Ophelia on good terms and how to cope with the possible move back into a pack.
Shaking her head, she attempted to clear it. Luckily, it did clear for a moment and she made up a quick decision.
"I think we should go with him," she murmured, looking her sister dead in the eye. "I know how risky this is, but I don't want to live in fear anymore. I think maybe we should give Logan a chance. I know I'd want one."
The female let out a great breath. She wasn't the most confident of wolves, and so saying all of that really fried her nerves. But she only hoped it wouldn't be a futile attempt to make their life better.

Ophelia watched Echo’s eyes as she thrummed in her mind with a soft, but hesitant voice. Almost as soon as she had finished, Ophelia pulled her eyes from Echo’s and glanced in Logan’s direction. Her face was serious and steady what would come from this? Some pack she didn’t know much about, and this wolf who was luring her sister away... but, Echo was right. They lived in fear, even if she tried to deny it. They always worried about food, about other vagabonds shoving them away from the area. From their parents seeking retaliation- or heaven knows, new brothers and sisters looking for trouble.
A faint stale wind pulled at the back of her neck, and her eyes diverted away from either of them, and she nodded softly. “Echo says that she will go with you.” She replied to Logan stiffly. “And I will follow what she decided.”
"We'll go together." She said again, with a bit more affection. But it was obvious that her love was for Echo- and it did not yet include Logan into the equation.

Logan waited in silence for what their decision might be. He wasn't sure what to expect from this situation, not knowing how Echo felt about him...if she even felt anything for him. Perhaps his words about caring for her scared her?! He hoped not...he prayed that wasn't the case.
He lifted his eyes to watch Ophelia and Echo again. And with Ophelia's words Logan's tail began to wag, his ears perking up now. A smile across his face...they'd come!
But he knew several things had to be done: -take them back -introduce them to Phib -find a place they would be comfortable staying at
Logan believed they'd probably want a den made away from other dens, until they got more accustomed to the area, he wanted to make sure Echo and Ophelia would be comfortable and happy there. Maybe Daemon could help! If Logan could find him on teh way back that is...he asked Daemon to keep watch while he went to go visit Echo.
Daemon seemed to understand what Logan was going through.
Logan smiled and with-held a wuff which he wanted to do, happy Echo would go back with him, Ophelia too. Perhaps this would be a new beginning to something...something bigger then Logan believed and knew at this moment.
He nodded and understood Ophelia's words, all of them, "I'm glad. If your ready now...I can take you back now." Logan said, tail wagging. He looked towards Echo as if trying to say 'I'm glad your coming,' but he wasn't sure if she would know what his eyes wished to speak. Perhaps they'd be lucky and meet Daemon and/or Phib on the way back. So Logan could introduce Ehco and Ophelia right off, and get started in finding a place they'd like to stay at.
Logan hoped over time, he and Ophelia would get on better terms...and that somehting mroe between he and Echo would spark.
((Sorry for the delay in posting *at dad's office* Should we have Phib meet them somewhere on the way back maybe? *just asking*))

Echo wagged her tail and smiled warmly at the male when he seemed rather pleased with her decision. It made her happy to know that she didn't let him down. It made her even more happy when her sister said that she'd follow her, no matter what things came to. It was nice to have some support like that, and she didn't know what she'd do if that support ever disappeared. Hopefully, she wouldn't have to find out. So for now..
"Ready to go," she said aloud. Glancing towards her sister, she murmured, "Ready?" Hopefully, Ophelia was. This would probably be the most nerve-racking thing they had ever done, but she knew they would get through it alright. They had each other for comfort.
Rising to her paws, the omega slowly walked past Logan to stand behind him. When she stopped, she turned and looked at both her twin and the male, her tongue lolling out of her mouth in a pant. Her ears were perked forward and her eyes were shining again. To her, Logan inviting them back to his pack was a chance for the sisters to start over, perhaps grow more confident in themselves and live truly free.
"Ready," she said again, standing there as if waiting.

Ophelia strode forward, the end of her tail gently bouncing. She was glad to see the happiness in Echo, despite her own worrying sense of concern. Maybe it would be alright. She wasn’t ready to believe it just yet, but she would give it a chance to come their way. “I am ready.” She spoke, and rose to her feet. The brown portions of her coat seemed to ripple for a moment in a kind of tension, before the muscles released and relaxed, and Ophelia felt she could stand surely again. “How far is it?” She questioned. She had never found out exactly how far it was that Logan trekked to meet up with her sister. Something about salt, and the stretch of sea...

Logan wagged his tail and pawed at the ground. Echo seemed happy, and enthusiastic about the whole idea, which made him relieved. He then turned to Ophelia and smiled, "Not far at all...we can go along the shore even..."
He turned and started to pad along, but kept looking behind him to make sure they were close. Logan seemed happier now, in brighter senses and emotion, and when he looked back at both of them, his eyes held another feeling and emotion, only for Echo to see and recognize.
"Along the beach is usually where Phib should be..he's my alpha. Very kind and noble wolf. He allowed me to stay in his lands. I'm a guard for him," he said with some proudness in his gruff voice. Perhaps them knowing he was a guard might give them a sense of safety while heading into's Phib's territory.
"My friend, Daemon, he is there too...Malik as well," he said with a smile, knowing Malik would be happy to see Echo was good. "There are a lot of places in Phib's territory, the shoreline, forested areas, even grassed areas..." he craned his neck to look back at them again, "So there are a lot of places you might like to den at."
He continued along until his paws hit the sandy shore of the beach, the rocks that littered the sandheld the ground up a bit. The waves lapping the shore. This was the start of Phib's territory from this side...Logan believed Phib might be on one of his walks along the beach at this hour.
In his mind Logan mused to himself, "A time of change, futures to rearrange..."

Echo stopped for a moment as Logan passed her. She waited for her sister before walking along after the male. When he mentioned the shore, she wagged her tail slightly but was also nervous. That had been the place she had went with Logan before, on that night when she'd run away from him. Would she do that again if it came down to it, or would she be strong and hold out? Hopefully, she'd make it through without any problems.
"Alpha?" she squeaked, ears folding back. Her parents had been alphas, or at least they had been trying to become alphas. Would this one be any different from the ones who had labeled them traitors and had abandoned them, even attacked them?
Yet, Logan saying that he was a guard gave her some sense of relief. Guards had to be strong and protective. Hopefully, he'd be able to protect her and her twin if trouble started brewing.
"Malik!" she yipped, her ears perking forward slightly as her tail began to wag again. She hadn't seen her friend for at least two moons or so, and she was eager to see how he was doing. He'd be bigger, wouldn't he? Pups were constantly growing, and so she left no doubt in her mind that he would probably be bigger than last time, perhaps even bigger than she. Echo was, after all, a runt.
"Malik is a good friend of mine, sister," she explained in her head. "I met him when he was a pup, though I'm sure he's grown a bit since then."
"Den.." she whispered to herself, glancing at her sister. They'd den together again, she was sure. But where would Logan stay? Would he stay near them for whatever reason, or would he stay away for a while and give them some space? She really didn't know, but deep down she hoped he'd stay close.
