UndrTheCvrsAgent anyone wanna throw out some punk bands you think are ready to make a lil bit of a splash in the SoCal scene? And real punk bands - nothing against Panic! but thats for MTV. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you... The Buddha Bomb. It's a Riverside-based ska/punk band, so for anyone in the inland empire... they play often at Tremors, on University. ^^

faolan Yoshi Allen How could you forget A.F.I........For Shame Practice. 3nodding Actually... *squints* The truly shameful omissions are The Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, The Turtles, The Byrds, The Grateful Dead, The Jefferson Airplane/Starship, Santana, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Eagles, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt... dude. The Doors. Those're just the stereotypical LA/San Fran acts everyone's heard at some point! xd Well, sheesh, I didn't go that far back, if you notice. And Jackson Browne and Bonnie Raitt are singers/musicians, not bands! razz

Ah, I found another singer who's from California. Japanese singer Yuna Ito (played Reira in the Nana movies) was born in LA, and lived there for a while before moving to Japan~ ^-^
