Alarai coughed gently, unsure if she should keep the child or not. If she did... there'd be an awful lot of changes around the house... on the other hand... She really truly looked at the child now. Green hair, red and gold outfit - Hopefully that's washable, - likely green eyes although she couldn't quite see what color at the moment. Rather like the ivy plant she found the scroll under. She grinned broadly as the child covered her nose with both hands. Maybe having a kid wouldn't be so bad after all... besides, she could always go to... whats-her-name... Nara... if she needed any help. "Ah, no. That's okay." She hugged the child a bit tighter. "I'm fine with keeping her. But... Ummm..." She blushed, not at all wanting to ask and sound stupid, "What's her name?"

Nara blinked. Why did everyone assume this kids came with a name? "Uh... well, she doesn't have one... yet. You can name her, if you'd like, Miss..." Ah, crap. She'd done it again. Mentally berating herself, Nara was a bit relieved that this woman was going to care for the child.

Alarai sighed upon hearing she would have to name the child and squirmed as she was asked for her name. She did not like giving out her first name. She grumbled for a moment before responding, "Tahnaren. Alarai Tahnaren," she quickly added, "I really rather you called me Eagleyes rather then Alarai though. Anything but Alarai, actually. Eagleyes was a nickname I picked up, and you can even shorten it to Eagle, or EE," she rambled, trying to make sure Nara wouldn't call her by her first name. Her mother only used her first name when she was in deep trouble, and did not like the feeling that now came everytime she heard her name. Her middle name was used more then her first name, but she didn't usually give that name out. A voice echoed, "Ee Ee," and Alarai looked down at the child and smiled wistfully. "Yes, Ee Ee." She pondered what to called the child. Well, her scroll was found under an ivy plant, she had green hair, she rather looked like a plant... "I think I may just call you Papina..." she breathed, then looked up at Nara. "May I call her Papina?"

Nara blinked as Alarai rambled on a bit. "Okay... Miss Eagle, then." She grinned as there was an echo by the little girl. "Ah, Papina sounds fine."
The relic glanced about. They'd probably best get going... "Well, you have our card... so if you need anything or something happens, just call or come by."

"Yes..." was the only thing Alarai voiced, her attention caught almost completely by the child. She raised a hand to shoo them off, and then put it back around the child, squeezing her in a hug. She scooped up the child as she stood (she snagged the scroll from under Papina as she did), and sauntered back into her house, already planning what all she needed to do for the child. There was a small click as the door shut behind her, leaving Nara and the dark man alone out front.
