Don't worry about it. Guys who can't admire a good person (weither big or small) are shallow. You don't need them. You'll find someone. I mean...I'm 5'5" and 360ish pounds and I found a man that loves me. It can happen. 3nodding

Exactly. If he can't see past your weight he isn't worth your time honey. You need someone who loves you from the inside out.

Well, I'm no big expert on men...but I tend to find that guys are suckers for self confidence. They think it is sexy. xp Which is to say...don't sweat trying to get a man. Take a break for a while. Actively searching and then not finding one tends to make you feel bad about yourself...even though you shouldn't. Seriously...stop looking for a while and get to know yourself. Take some girl days. Dress up really nice and go out with your friends shopping or do something you've always wanted to. And before you know it a guy will show up. Trust me...this works. All too well... sweatdrop And for added punch..especially if the first few guys you meet kinda suck...just be their friends. Keep it up with the "me" time. Be confident and enjoy yourself. Don't sweat the menfolk. Things like that will work themselves out if you are careful. 3nodding

Probably because it still hurts the heart that someone would just dismiss her as well as her feelings, like she was unimportant...goodness knows I'd be upset if I was in her position.

AmericanAngel, in time you'll get over it. Like Topaz said, you need someone who loves you from the inside out...and although it may take you awhile to get over him and how he treated you, in the long run you'll become stronger for having had to deal with such a situation and you will be a little more choosy when you start dating again.

Thats true. I have this friend that was going to dance with me and some friends. Some kids. KIDS! Immature children, that were throwing paper balls at each other, started to call her fat and others names. She just got hurt and decided to go home, even if we tried to cheer her up.
Somethings just hurt too much.

yea i was hurt but i believe i am getting over it but it is pretty hard why ur friends are like rubbing their relationships in ur face and like talk about ur last relationship all the time!! but i have taken some Me time and it feels good (sorta) but like some of my friends are really helping me wit my prob. but i'll be fine in a couple of days maybe i just feel lonely at times ......... crying ( like now)

If It helps I'm never in relationships and the only person I've ever really loved doesn't return my feelings in the slightest. chalk it up to gender expectations I suppose. If we all thought beauty was skin deep we wouldn't be here would we....?

Good for you! That's the way to think about it. biggrin It's a lesson that took me a long time to learn, and one I still have problems with, but it's true: If you can't love yourself, how can you expect others to?
