This is Rizzyn, my traveling companion and freind and I expect you to show him the same courtesy as you would show me."

((you can name it... But you also have to have a character sheet for it... Here's the base wolf stats, and here's the rules on animal companions (remember, use your ranger level divided by two to determine the benefits your animal companion gets based on your level.)))

((don't get too attached to it though... they can die easily, as I've found out many times while DMing and having druid NPCs tag along with the players...))

((but early on, they rock heh. I had a 1st level druid with a wolf animal companion, and it was the most powerful character in the party hehe. I liked him.))
