Whatever is the point of this thread... Kingston Wall, Hurriganes and Hanoi Rocks are best finnish bands.

for those who do live on finland...is there a band named PMMP over there? one of my friends from finland on the rasmus guild told me that theyre becoming big over there and they only sing in finnish...ivd been listening to their music for a few years now..but i love them..

lucifers_shot for those who do live on finland...is there a band named PMMP over there? one of my friends from finland on the rasmus guild told me that theyre becoming big over there and they only sing in finnish...ivd been listening to their music for a few years now..but i love them.. Yup. PMMP is quite big here at the moment. 3nodding They're new album will be released on 15th.

Almost nobody in the USA has heard of the 'less popular' Finnish bands,and even less so for the ones who sing in Finnish.
I think I've only seen 5 or so people who like Uniklubi.
Wow....5 out of 300,000,000 people in the USA.
I'm pretty happy about it accually.

PMMP is quite big here at the moment. 3nodding They're new album will be released on 15th. well what do you think of them? 3nodding i think theyre pretty good. and paula vesala has a kick a** voice. i know shes probably the only one on the band who understands english...i wish she could do an interview on english..yep and i got the album now!! 4laugh i ordered it from stupido records. it wasnt what i expected since the album that came before leskiaidin tyttaret which was kovemmat kadet was much more mature..but the one before kovemmat kadet which was kuulkas enot(i hope i wrote it right 3nodding ) was sorta...well weird...but its the weirdness around them that i love.

I have never been a big fan of PMMP. But I like some of their songs. And it's the 'weirdness' that makes 'em good and original in my opinion. Otherwise it'd just be yet another angsty rock band...

Wicked I have never been a big fan of PMMP. But I like some of their songs. And it's the 'weirdness' that makes 'em good and original in my opinion. Otherwise it'd just be yet another angsty rock band... i agree. its funny, cause ivd tried to make my boyfriend and my friends listen to them and they say they get headaches from it. i dont seem to get them cause im actually getting what the songs say( just a tiny bit though sad but its just funny how they sometimes even try to sing the songs. its hilarious.
