Well i collect both.....but that's and interesting notion.
If I had to have two that would match up well in a fight. It be deathscythe(any version) vrs blade liger.

Most of the Zoids, such as the Liger, are about the same size as your average Gundam. The reason they look smaller is because they stand on four legs and Gundams are on two. Well, judging from the armaments of both the mechanical oponents, they both have a fair chance. Remember, Zoids can carry pretty heavy weaponry, and they are much more manuverable. Then again, Gundams can be just as manuverable(Remember a certain Desert Tiger on Seed?), though manuverable units are rare. Gundams are made to take heavy hits and fire back with that same force, but can they take the speedy onslaught of the Zoids? You'd have to do a simulation of it and add in all the variables...If I wasn't so lazy, I'd do it.

Dammit, as much as it pains me gundams would probably win. That is unless of course, yes, zoids can have shields equipped to them. As long as it was a larger class zoid (lightening psykes, ligers, zabers, and bigger) it might have a chance. Like someone said earlier, they have major speed advantage. Uh oh, I've started to plan strategies for taking gundams out.

Being that most Gundams seem to be from 17-21 meters in height and the average height for Zoids is about 10 or so meters (I believe the Command Wolf AC is about 10 meters, the Liger Zero about 8, etc.), it seems that Gundams would have somewhat of an advantage.

I was just thinking of something. The biggest disadvantage that Gundams have compared to Zoids is balance in gravity. You knock out a leg, and that Mobile Suit is pretty much down. 3nodding
Though, I find it amusing that a good portion of the voice actors in CC/GF are also in M.S. Gundam Zeta. Amuro, for instance, has the same VA as Van. Four has Fiona's and the Narrator is Rosso. Among others I could go on listing. xd

Yeah, having four legs is fairly handy sometimes. XD
The VA stuff is quite funny. Maybe someday I'll see that Gundam series and be too easily amused. X3

I'd say so. xd I remember I read somewhere a while back that between Zoids and Gundams, Zoids would be the easiest to make in real life because of not having judge balance. Well, that and power sources I think. 3nodding

It makes sense when you look at some of the robotic pets they make these days. They just have to make them... a lot BIGGER.

Heaven help us if civilians could ever get their own giant robots. XD
'Course they're teaching the little robot dogs to play soccer... so pilots probably would end up being obsolete from the start. Kinda sad...
