Tori keep up her speed as she was use to running for long periods of time. still smirking they where geting very close to the river. grinning as she could see even more of the river, she had one last burst of speed in her. still running that last burst of speed wore her down alittle but she still pushed herself to keep her current pace.

There wasn't a way in the world Oathkeeper could think up to beat her. He was beginning to pant madly as they reached the river. Tori winning by quite a fair distance. Upon their arival he splashed his whole body into the cooling water then laid himself upon the shore in exaughstion. "Alright...wow...you win...dang your good. I could never...run as fast as you" Oath huffed, resting himself after such a straining run.

Tori grinned at Oath after geting out of the water. "hehe your not bad yourself though Oath. i just use to racing alot cause i race my brothers and father." giving a chuckle she was starrting to really like Oath alot.

"Ahah...so...so the talent comes from keeping up with the family, eh? Well that's pretty cool" Oathkeeper smiled, finally catching his breath and rising to his feet. She was quite an awesome mare, unlike any he'd met before. "So, uh. What do you wanna do now?" he smirked, now that he'd regained most his energy as well, he was up for anything she could toss out there to do.

Tori then smirked. " i guess you can say that." she then thought for a moment of what they could do now." hmmm how about we get a drink then explore a little and chat if you would like. " still smirking at Oath, she felt really relaxed arond him, more then she would with others and found him quite handsome.

"Sounds good to me" Oath beamed, dipping his muzzle quickly into the water for a drink, then raising it again. He waited for her to do what she wanted to but in the meantime, a sudden question struck him.
"Say..." he began, "Anyone ever tell you your red hair and white coat is very lovely?" he complemented 1st, leading into his question, "Is there any...story behind how you recieved such interesting coloration...other than it being by birth? Like...is your father a spirit of the holidays or something?" he attempted to ask her.

Tori lifted her head from her drink and turned to oath. " well im not sure really. both my parents have interesting coats. my father has a mostly white coat with red and green markings. and my mother has a all red coat with golden markings." she then chuckled. " i never really thought about white my coat is red and white. but i suppose i get my coloring from mostly my father. but i have to say, my father is a bit touchy about his coloring."

"I can't see why he'd be touchy..." Oath began, but then again most stallions did have some sort of 'macho' complex, where if anything looked even remotely mare-ish about them, they'd have severe issues about it. He himself wasn't that way. Many could say he looked feminine even, but it would never have bothered him any. "But either way" Oath continued, "He should be proud of his colors cause he passed on that to his beautiful daughter."
Oath gave another dazzling smile. He was so taken by this particular mare that he found himself wanting to prance around like a lovestruck idiot. Meeting her and just being around her made him feel...spirited and joyous.

Tori chuckled. " i would have to say its from when he was younger he was made fun of for being holiday colors. and i know he is most likey proud at how me and my brothers turned out." giving another cunning smirk, she was liking Oath more and more as she talked with him.

Oathkeeper nodded. "Ah---I see how that can make one insecure about their colors" he added. Catching on to her smirk he decided to do something he'd never done before.
He took a deep breath in and smiled honestly, "You know something. For some reason, I think you're totally the mare for me. You're spirited, cunning, smart, swift, agile and overall adorable. There's so much about you I really like..." he trailed off, a light pink rising in his cheeks, "Just had to get that off my chest."

Tori blushed at Oath as he said all those things about her. " i have never had anyone say such nice things about me." she then blushed again. " well i think your sweet, handsome and fun..." trailing off she did not know what else to say to Oath. she had never had a stallion just come right out and say such nice things to her like that.

"Awe, shucks. Really, there's no need to compliment me back. "I just know I really like you for all that you are and I..." he began again, becoming more and more shy as he continued, "I just wanted to know if maybe um...well I don't know...if you don't wanna...I mean we just met..." he babbled onward.
Fearing he might be giving her the wrong impression he finally just blurted it out, "Do you wanna see if we'd work out as companions? ...maybe...if we do, we could be lifemates one day" he exclaimed softly, but in the most honest and sincere tone.

Tori blushed deeply again. truely she had taken quite a shine to Oath even when they have only just met. " sure, even though we just met. i mean theres no harm in geting to know each other more. and i do want to get to know you more." giving a smilie as she blushed more, she was being truthful when she said she wanted to get to know him more.

Oathkeeper smiled broadly, just hearing that someone as amazing as Tori wanted to get to know him made him feel the happiest he'd ever felt in his life. "So" he blushed, "How should we get to know each other better? Do you have any favorite places you like to just settle down in chat?"

Tori smilied at Oath. " actualy i really dont cause theres so many places i have explored." giving a little giggle she was really happy to still be hanging around Oath and had a feelign she would like him even more as she got to know him. " is there any where you like to rest at and chat?"
