Oathkeeper wandered the valleyside, watching the sun drop lower and lower in the sky. It had once again been awhile since he'd seen anyone interesting around. Somewhere inside him there was a small wish to meet someone exciting...or at least someone at all, really.
He kicked up a few stones as he went, each one clammering down into the valley's gully below. He pondered life as he traveled on alone, he thought about a family...and how he wanted a loving and dedicated mate to be there for. But of coarse, finding and having those things weren't something to be rushed.
Mericles happen when you least expect them, right? he thought to himself, Maybe I'll just stop thinking on things and carry on being me. I'll find the right mate for me someday...definantly. With his thoughts he now carried on smiling, watching once more the winding road infront of him, only this time with higher-hopes and renewed spirit.

Tori trotted along and came to the allyside more to explore out of boredom then anything. lately she bee hearing about those who now have mates and are all happy when also some have foals too. never before did she ever think about something like that till now for a odd reason. maybe it was from all the talk about mates. she then chuckled as she continued to walk through the valleyside in thought and unaware she might meet someone.

In the distance something red and white caught Oathkeeper's attention. He squinted in the light of the evening sun and was just able to make out that it appeared to be a mare with candy red hair and markings. He lifted his head up high and whinnied over to her...as was he usual tradition to achieve getting someone's attention. He hoped however she wouldn't take it as rude, since he was never the sort to be so.

Toris ears twitched at hearing a whinnie. turning to see who had whinnied, she saw a stallion who was white with pastel colors. smiling, she whinned back and walked over to him. once she was closed enough, she said. " Ello there. its a fine day to be out and about is it not?" still smiling, she never thought his whinnie was rude or anything. and she was always the polite one since thats how her father and mother raised her to be.

Oathkeeper smiled, completely glad and relieved she was friendly. She also even appeared to be quite outgoing. "Fine afternoon indeed" Oathkeeper began, "Glad I ran into someone, I was getting quite bored wandering all alone around here." He gave her a playful glance and a sparkling smile, "I'm Oathkeeper, and whom do I have the honor of meeting on this 'fine day?" he asked politely.

"Well then, would you like to wander with me?" Oathkeeper offered, "Or do you have any hobbies that I might partake in?" he added. Looking at her upclose she reminded him much of a candy cane...the thought made him smile evermore.

Tori smirked at Oath. " that sounds good to me. that is unless you feel like running." chuckling again, she always liked a good run ever since her father got her into it as a foal. she then eyed Oath for a moment and thought he was quiet the handsome one. flickign her tail, she awaited for what Oath might say.

"Oh, running? Well, I am always up for a good race!" Oath smiled. He gave Tori a playful nudge, "We could always race to a favorite destination of yours and then spend time getting to know each other when we're there" he offered.

Oathkeeper watched for a moment as she bolted off, startled by the beauty of her red mane and tail fluttering as she ran. Leaping into a full gallop he stunningly caught up to her in no time.
Running was one of his expertices after all.
He kept pace at her side and smiled, "Come on, I know you can do better. Don't wait up on me. I wanna see you run wilder than a winter storm. Always give it your all!" he encouraged her on.

Tori smirked and pushed herself faster. " oh i need no encuragment for that oath!" she nipped playfully at him as she tryed passing him up. running was something she was really good at even when she was a foal. and with all the running she did with her father and brothers, she was quiet good at it. still having the smirk on her face, she kept running and having fun at the same time.

Oath smiled broadly as the mare pulled ahead of him. Dang, she was fast! he thought to himself, it was tad imbarassing, since running was something he considered able to do best. He nipped at her tail in responce to her previous 'bout of playfullness. In the distance he could see the river Tori had spoken of.

Tori still had the smirk on her face as she passed oath up and saw the river. she always did long runs every day so ofcourse she was fast adn use to always chalenge her brothers to races. not even really feeling the n** from oath at her tail, she pushed herself faster.

Dang that red-head could run...
Oath was usually quite good at long distance runs, so his lagging behind the agile mare was quite imbarassing. Usually he would be nice and let a mare win in a race, since he was usually much faster than any of them.
But Tori...well Tori really was something else. There was something kinda attractive about her being faster than him though. Giving a last burst of speed, the wind whipping his mane and face as he nearly managed to get nearly neck and neck with her.
The river was close, but he didn't think he could hold his most recent pace...
