Eh, I perfer to read it myself. She just doesn't give enough emotion. I can't get into the book that way. When I'm reading it myself, I get so caught up in the adventures of Edward and Bella that I even lose track of time. I can't manage to do that with the audio.

Meh, it was ok... ^^;
Could've been better.
Someone already said that, but I agree that it does become kinda confusing to know who exactly is talking, unless if you had memorized the book (I have it memorized, so it wouldn't be a problem for me xD).
But anyways, I was never too fond of these things.
Human beings are becoming too lazy, even to read! confused
Also, if you listen to it, it totally kills any chances of you developing in your head what each character sounds like to you.
And what about the more emotional parts? gonk She has a monotone voice all the way through, sheesh xp I wouldn't like to imagine what it would be like when Bella screams to Edward in front of her house, "Leave me alone, Edward!" xp
I think the voice actress killed the moment. xD I can't help but imagine. I giggle. xd
I also like to re-read some parts, sometimes. I don't know, my way of reading is weird. sweatdrop I sometimes re-read paragraphs a ton of times, if I like that part a lot. I might even go back a whole chapter, if I really like it, THEN continue reading xD

blueflamealchemist Oh my gosh! That voice just drones on and on! gonk I stopped listening at two minutes. xd It went on for two minutes? I stopped like fifty seconds in! Seriously, I would rather read. I like giving the characters their own voice in my head; also, I would not appreciate Edward sounding like that woman; it might mentally scare me for life.

i haven't listened to the Twilight audio, but one of my co-workers grabbed the copy of the audio for New Moon that the publisher sent my Barnes and Noble and plans on giving it to me, since I love the books so much.

Except..I'm in the background saying which voice to do..and I'm like, "Be-lla" just to be mean..xD Cause..the one who reads Twilight says "Be-lla"..xD
I tried Edward..>.>;; Oh jeezzz..Never will i do that again!
"Do you truly beleive you love me more than I love you?" -gonks head on desk- Evil Edward! I made fun of the way she said Bella's name too. It sounded vaguely like a frog. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one it bothered.

I don't really like it. I'm the picky kind of human.
If that voice is meant to be Bella, I never imagined her voice to sound like that. And I think she's a little too enthusiastic.
And sometimes you would get confused with who's saying what in the conversations and wether Bella's saying something out loud or not..
like the Wow. Free. part.
I think I'd much rather read it myself, or maybe Ms. Meyer read it! I guess that would kinda be okay...
And rofls at some hesitations she did, and when she coughed and I think I heard a page turn!
And I'm STILL listening. She's only up to first arriving at her room. D:
Yes, I'd prefer to read it myself. Much easier to understand and much, much faster. LOL.
But still, maybe another book that wasn't written in one perspective (first person I think) would be okay...

her voice reminds me of that.
