Unfortunately, I have yet to have heard of Ayumi, but I do know one thing, Boa definitly rocks!!!

My boyfriend and I argue over this constantly. He's a Boa fan, I heart Ayu. I doubt it will ever be resolved. confused

I mean BoA is probebly the only
female top Jpop artist that usually dances and
sings most of the times than all of them <(^_^<) ~D A N C E.
BoA is different. BoA tops Korean, Japanese, and last year Taiwanese
charts~! Also she can dance and sing at the same time very well, specially
her Korean dances which is very hard and well choreographed.
Koda Kumi can dance, but I don't expect her anytime soon
dnaincg and singing veyr well at the same time~!
To prove this, watch BoA's Moon and Sunrise performance
in Youtube from her BoA THE LIVE concert. That shows BoA's
singing ability, then watch MOTO or Girls On Top (both Korean).
The choreography of the dance is veyr hard to learn, and she can
preform it without lipsinging (in Korea, it's ok for sinegrs to lypsing
because they tedn to emphasize more on the dancing when it comes to live).

OMG!!!! BoA all the way. Ayumi's voice is so annoying. I can enjoy BoA's!!!
OK. Ayumi's cool and alll. Her songs r ok. But she is all so Utada Hikaru's rival and I'm on Hikki's side!!

i like them both BoA has great songs but for me Ayumi's songs are somewhat more addicting so Ayumi

AYUMI ROCKS!!! She is so pretty I love here songs. mostly all of my Japanese song are fro her.

I love......BOTH!! But I could see how a person could like one and not the other. It's kinda like the Ai Otsuka vs. Koda Kumi thing. It a matter of taste..BoA can be very R&B and while Ayumi is pretty much pop.

BoA sing's in Korean, English, Chinese, AND Japanese (^_-)~
If your a true Jpop fan, you would probably know that BoA has released
5 Japanese Albums all of which reached No.1~. But she's Korean.
And more, BoA is No.2 Artist in Japan based on total sales.
No.1 is Ayumi. Note: Hikki sales are big too, it just so happens that BoA debuted earlier than Hikki.

BoA is hotter in my opinon, music wise she is also more fun to listen to. But last I checked there was no rivaly between the two of them.
