[ "But... you live in the jungle. Don't you have any friends to play with?" he questioned. Without Halili he'd still be stuck up and caring only for himself. "If you think scaring away someone who wants to be friends is "working" then yes." He didn't much like Lepords anymore. They were scary. He was very pleased when he was apologized to. "You're name means 'feathed'?" he guessed. How odd... ]

"Not many, no," she shrugs, not seeming concerned with her solitary life. Clearly nothing is stopping her from being proud.
"But what if that's not what you'd intended?" Mleli doesn't bother to point out that if it had been an attack, a short, simple hiss probably would have been ineffective, "Perhaps what came out is not what I intended. Have a done anything but speak since?"
"My name means tail feathers," she nods, her tone matter-of-fact and actually void of any mean quality to it. Feathered is the natural assumption, based on what she'd said to him.

[ Crazy thing this Mleli was. Maybe he should leave if it were going to wear off on him. "Is being crazy a disease?" he curiously asked. What kind of animal didn't want friends? He searched them out, for he didn't want to be lonely. "You're bigger than me. Why would I pick a fight with someone bigger than me? I guess you've only talked..." His mind was starting to hurt. So confusing! "Oh." he said simply as he heard what her name ment. At least he played in grass... She had nothing to do with tail feathers. ]

Mleli looks at the lion with a calculating gaze, one steel blue eye narrowed. Crazy now, is she? She considers his question, is she tired of arguing with him about this, or not? Because now an opportunity to say she's crazy, and it's contagious, has presented itself.
"Oh yes," she says sarcastically, "Crazy is a disease, quite contagious too. That's exactly why I reacted to a potential threat without thinking, it's natural only to crazy creatures."
She holds her head high again, dropping the sarcasm, "You think hissing was bad, you should be careful what you say. Some don't take well to insults."

[ Mleli was scaring him. Maybe it really was time to go back to his little jungle clearing. He looked into the tree tops to look for some bit of sun, and he found some but it wasn't as bright as it was at the begining of the conversation. "Mleli, I'd better go." he said with a grin, "It's getting late and it took me a while to get here." He hoped she wouldn't get mad and hiss at him, maybe whe would be happy to be rib of him! "I'm sorry for bugging you for so long, but thankyou for putting up with me." even though he felt as if he were putting up with her, he wanted to leave on a good note. After all, Majani didn't want her chasing after him and finding out where he lived. "Good bye!" and with that he turned and ran. ]

Mleli watches him check the time anxiously, smiling ever so slightly. She nods quietly to him when he says that he'd better go.
"Oh, by all means," she says, "don't let me keep you."
She watches him turn and run with a shake of her head. At least he was polite when he left, it was rather amusing how he was so afraid though. Perhaps she'd have to work on her social skills. With a great shrug, she turns back to her tree and climbs back up- this time going to the branch where she'd stored her last kill.
(( Thanks for the RP XD ))
