I ♥ soy nuts! With the rice cracker things around them! So good!

I couldn't be a straight veggie, because I gotta have my carbs... but I'm really picky when it comes to meat. I can't eat it off the bone, and I hate it when I end up with anything in my mouth that isn't perfectly lean. I can't stand having any fat, gristle, or--the worst--cartillage in my mouth.

Plus I really don't like pork because I'm used to a low salt diet my family has had ever since my mom had a stroke a while back.

My Thoughts on Vegetarians in an Elegant Starred List:
* You guys (if you're a caucasion vegetarian of course) are colored yellow! Skin is not meant to be yellow.

* A lot of you say it's to protect the enviroment from the clearing of lands for cattle. Cow manure helps the enviroment. Beef helps America's enconomy. If you guys wanted the clearing of lands to stop eat the dang cows! If you did that we wouldn't have to clear nearly as much land.

* You can't eat conventional soup anymore as it's made with broth from meat products and you'd get "sick".

* Being a vegitarian is not healthy.

I'm caucasion, and I'll have you know my skin is NOT yellow. In fact, I'm kind of nice and tanned right now due to the good weather. And in the winter I'm like a pink little baby.

If you take vitamins and supplements, or have a good balanced diet, you can be a healthy vegetarian.

Clearly, no one taught you that already. biggrin

I've considered vegetarianism. I've come pretty close. But, I don't think I could keep that up. Meat just happens to be a major part of my diet right now.

Of course, when I move out, I'll pretty much be living on Ramen noodles. Which is basically vegetarian. I think.

I'm not a vegitarian, but I've thought about it more than once before. What exactly does it take in your diet to replace the protien/whatever sweatdrop in meat to keep a healthy diet?

You sir, are misinformed.
*I (and several friend vegetarians) are not yellow or even pale at all! In fact I am a very healthy color.
*Methane is bad for the ozone, and cows produce alot of methane. Even though cow s**t can be useful, most just sits there, and is returned to the earth. But they chop down acres of rainforest to graze cattle, then the cattle stomps down the land so nothign can grow, so they move them to another area.
*I can still eat veggie soup, and besides, soup is such a small loss.
*Being a vegetarian is completly healthy.

The ozone layer being destroyed is partially a myth. Besides that, whatever. You're not going to recruit me to your religion. I didn't rise to the top of the food chain to eat carrots.

I'm pretty much a vegetarian. The only meat that I will even consider eating is fish. I hardly ever eat that anyway. I have been like this about two years. The other two years, I was a full vegetarian. I think that it is sick that people would kill an animal just so that they can eat it. Sick. Sick. Sick.
