Narayan got distracted by the way his head seemed to move. Well, Rool was certainly more interesting to watch than anything else! Grinning, he nodded.
"You move that one." he said, pointing to the one closest to them. "I move that one!" he said, pointing to the one far away. "All good then." he nodded, confident, self assured.
THIS, was what he was supposed to do here, at the gallery. Why else would JD bring him all the way over? To look at paintings he couldn't buy? No. It was a test to see if Narayan had brains! And he certainly had brains. Certainly.
"Rool?" he asked.
Maybe the boy would find the painting too heavy.
JD chuckled, not hearing the words murmured by his son. "So, how long have you had Roule?" he asked. "Have you done the alphabet thing" he asked wryly. Narayan hadn't liked that at all.

"Uweh.. I.. get.. it." He replied, staring up at the massive painting. Did Nara really want to move it? Like, over there? The boy's eyes were huge as he watched the elephant boy gesture all over the place. "Can you really move it that far?" He asked, eyes wide. Nara had to be way way strong then! But.. he was an elephant (not green, but whatever.) and he should be strong.
Nev chuckled, "Hmm.. 2 months?" She pondered on the date. April? Yea, sometime in April. "Yess, wow that was a pain. In order to get him to do the sheets, I had to reward him with something or another. Otherwise he'd resort to not doing anything and ruining my pots banging on them."

Narayan beamed. "Uh huh!" he said, nodding. Alright. So it'll be more about pushing it onto the ground and dragging it, but hey. Transportation was transportation. With a considering gaze, he decided that maybe Roule couldn't handle the burden alone. "I help." he said, nodding. Yes. He would help... with this one.
Walking over, he slippd under the barricade and motioned for Roule to follow. Now. If they somehow tilted it, maybe it would fall. It was low enough to reach on tip toes.
Hmmm....
JD nodded, glad to see that someone else had resorted to bribery as well. "New watercolor set, and toys, if he didn't want to color in a letter." he frowned, shaking his head He was still a good parent, right? Well. He was assuming Nev was.
"Pots and pans?" he enquired.

"Uweh.." started Roule, becoming meeker by the second. He didn't really know about this idea. It seemed so shaky, but Nara was so inisistent! Nodding, the boy looked around the paintings. It was at least 4 to 5 times wider than he was, and Roule couldn't even estimate how much taller. Staring at the elephant, the weasel nodded again. "Hellppp."
Suddenly, the boy remembered the golden plaque underneath the Picasso painting. He chewed his lip for a few seconds before starting, "Uh Nara.. Dat thing.. says no touchy." He pointed to the sun-coloured piece of metal below the painting. The letters were engraved and pretty easy to ready.
"Yeah, that was the only thing that worked. I fear spoiling him though." She chuckled nervously, "I'm not really sure if I'm an awesome mother." The girl looked between the two kids. What were they doing? Fooling around? Well, she could stop it whenever she wanted, right?
"Oh.. he ruined my $150 set of stainless steel pans," Nev replied, sighing heavily. "Decided to do THAT instead of his sheets. Made a ton of "moosick" he said."

Narayan gave Roule a look of incomprehension. "It's okay." he said, assuring the boy. After all, when things said not to touch... it didn't refer to Narayan or Roule. "'sa mistake." With a grin, he reached for Roule's hand. They could do this together! The two of them.
"Wrong sign." he repeated. Or was it wrong picture? His stupid vocabulary kept getting in the way. Because that was what was at fault, really. Nodding his head, he tried to move closer to the painting.
JD snickered quietly. "Music, huh?" it was more of a rhetorical question as he nodded. "Narayan keeps going after our paper screens with his water colors. And in our house, paper screens make up the inner walls?" he shook his head, wincing as he remembered the amount he had been forced to pay to make up for _that_ error.

Peering over at the boy, Roule looked slightly confused. "Uhh.. you sure?" He asked, his voice inquisitive. He wasn't sure if the sign was a mistake, but whatever Nara said goes, the boy supposed.
Giving Nara his hand hesistantly, Roule looked up at the painting and then at the sign. "Wrong?" Well, the painting had to be moved obviously.. He really didn't know the reason, but as before, whatever Nara said goes. Humming a strange song he had heard from Ma, the boy moved closer with the elephant.
Nev flinched. "Ouch." She shook her head. "That must've hurt. He totally killed my pans but I can still use them.. It just looks like I got them from a trash heap. And yes, Roule's got an awesome musick streak coming. He's rhthymic too." The girl chuckled.

Narayan smiled. "Take that side?" he suggested. He stood there, noticing the thickness of the frames. Hmmm... "Push and pull." he said outloud, deciding that it would be the best. Push off the wall, and pull towards the ground. That would work, wouldn't it? Surely it must.
Narayan tilted his head at the song that left Roule's mouth. Later, he would ask the boy what it was. It sounded okay.
((Hmmm... XD when do you want them to get caught?))
JD smirked. "Sounds like another story." he said, shrugging. "Narayan... he's... not. A little bit clumsy on his feet. I'm searching for classes for him to take to fix that, but I'm not sure whether dance or another type of sport would be more beneficial." Big feet was something Narayan seemed to be born with, but that didn't mean the boy was any more graceful with it.

Taking the frame, Roule attempted to pull the frame sideways. It jarred though, being large and heavy and weighing over than 50lbs. Roule grunted with effort and glared at the tall painting. Why won't it move?
"Pretty please?" Asked Roule, as Ma had always told him asking politely usually got you places. "Pleassssssssse move for us? Nara want you to move na!" Attempting to push it again, he looked over at Nara and shook his head. It wasn't moving! At all! Why won't it move? He had asked in his sweetest voice with his puppy pout and everything! The frustration was building up however, because he glared at the painting and attempted to shove it to the side. Didn't work.
((Oooh, when the painting moves just a smidge, the alarm is turned on. Not when they touch it. P: So, they could give one big heave, and the painting moves like 1cm and the alarm goes BLAHHH.))
Nev nodded in agreement, "Yeah, Roule's a bit clumsy too. But that's just he's compulsive and stuff. Does things without thinking, you know? Sports sounds good, but dancing might help more." Nev said while watching them. Wait.. wait, what were they doing?! Ack, they were TOUCHING the painting!
"Stop!" She shouted across the hall and attempted to get to the other side. "Oi oi kiddies, it says no touch!" She wasn't sure if JD had noticed yet, but gosh, she needed help.

Narayan scowled at the painting, nodding his head. "One, two." he said. "Three!" giving an all mighty push pull to get it off the wall.
Hmm. Maybe it would shift even just a little bit.
Startled out of his actions by the yell coming from the boobie, Narayan blinked, looking up with wide eyes. "Stop?" he enquired, giving the painting little tugs to get it to move.
Hmmm. What was he supposed to do then? Magically teleport the painting across the room?
JD blanched at the behavior, knowing the consequences would not be to his liking. "Narayan!" he scowled, walking over. "Come here this instant."

Roule looked at the girl who was attempting to get to them by weaving around the sculptures and and other pieces of art in the middle of the hallway. "What--why do they put this stuff here?!" She said exasperatedly, dodging a large sculpted head of Bernini. "STOP, kiddies! Don't do that!" The pale boy turned around, scowling. Ma would certainly stop them! And Nara wanted it to move! Roule nodded to Nara and gave one, single HARD tug on the painting.
It flinched.
The whole building screeched and red and white light began to emit from the ceiling. The noise was loud, louder than anything Roule had ever heard, much much louder than Ma's pots and pans. This was the kind of sound that made him want to crumple up on the floor and go to sleep. The sound of metal filings screaming against metal. What was going on? The dull thud of metal was coming closer.. and closer...
All doors and windows in the gallery were vaulted on by thick steel bars, the diameter as thick as your thumb. All the pale lights in the room shut off, to reveal a menacing red light underneath. (This light was used to preserve the paintings.) Obviously, these maneuvers were meant to keep the thief in rather than out.
Nev stopped in her tracks, eyes widening. A muddle of swears ran through her panicked mind. Auuuugh, this was a bad idea afterall! And she had dragged someone else into this.

What was the woman talking about? And don't do what? Oh... this? But by the time Narayan realized that maybe these people WANTED to have the pictures in the wrong order, the alarms went off.
Instinctively, his ears seemed to curl within themselves, as if somehow that would make it easier to deal with the sudden pain. That much noise HURT! Letting out a small, pathetic shriek from his noise in protest, he looked over, demanding that JD somehow stop this.
And JD? He was staring at Narayan, wondering what he had done that was so wrong as to deserve this. Cursing, he reached out to yank Narayan closer to him.
"When we get home." he growled, and looked over at Nev with a sigh. A head ache was coming on, but what did he expect? "I am so, so sorry about this. Really."
Narayan only grinned. Looking at Roule with a smirk, he nodded his head. "Cooooool." he breathed, having learnt the word from TV. Whatever it meant, it seemed to suit the situation well enough.

Roule whimpered slightly. He really REALLY didn't like this noise.. It was so loud.. Gah.. The weasel's ears bent back slightly, and he gave a small noise in fright. Why was everything so scary? He was doing what Nara wanted.. Uweh.. Nodding slightly at the elephant boy, Roule muttered something sheepishly and went to Nev. The girl looked so exasperated, it wasn't even funny.
"...Ah." She said, not knowing where to begin. Both of them held responsibility, Roule maybe a bit more. He "was" the one who pulled it. Sighing, she flushed and looked up at JD. "God, this really wasn't supposed to happen. We'll.. just have to explain to the officials, I guess."
Nudging the small weasel, she glared at him. Ooooh, what was she going to do when they get home? IF they get home?
A group of officers raced into the gallery, guns raised. All were clothed in bulletproof vests with shields. A man stood up and said in a loud, commanding voice, "Hands up. You can't get out of here alive."
Nev gulped, edging the boy. He immediately followed, hands up. "Officer!" Nev began, her voice dry. "I can explain.. We weren't watching our kids. Honestly, we're really sorry." Her face pumped blood, reddening by the second. What an EMBARRASSING situation! "They were fooling around.. we have no intention of stealing any of the paintings."

If that boy got him in jail... well. He'd figure THAT one out later. "We do apologize, officers." he said, nodding his head. "It was just a little bit of child's fun that grew out of hand." Jesus. Would they have to set rules on what NOT to do at a museum/gallery now? This was ridiculous. "If there is a fine that we need to pay..." he trailed off. Having a feeling that Narayan had more to do with it than he pretended to. Bribery? Surely not!
Narayan stared curiously at the arrival of the guards. Was this part of a game then? Fantastic! Who knew such a game existed? Tilting his head at their words and staring at the weapon in their hands (was that cool or what?!) he nodded his head. Yes. Yes. To whatever his JD said. He could explain it to the man later. Because surely, he had done nothing wrong.
At that thought, he turned to look at Roule. Why was the other boy so quiet? And he looked kind of scared... of what? A little bit dense and more than a little bit curious to see if somehow the noise had hurt his new accomplice, he reached out to pat the boy with his nose.
"Roule okay?" he enquired. Hopefully not. And see? He was listening to the other men, having his hands raised and all that part. But his nose was his nose. And cautiously, he tapped at the weasel boy. "Not hurt?"

Roule flushed sheepishly and nodded, concerned. What was going on? He really didn't like those people, large and in dark clothing. So intimidating. He hadn't been in this situation before, so it was kind of awkward for him.
Ma didn't really look very good either, red and embarassed.
The girl quirked a brow and smiled weakly to the officers. "Yes, it was just a misunderstanding.. We weren't watching our kidlings properly, and we know that its to our fault. Surely you can understand officers.. Feel free to search us as well, we have nothing that could oppose your security." Nev nudged the weasel boy, making him splutter slightly. "Uu.. sowy too.." He made out, looking at the floor. This wasn't a great situation either, and he hadn't seen Ma so invisibly mad since .. well, when he had destroyed her pots.
The officers hesitated for a few seconds. Then, a slightly pudgey shorter one with greying hair walked out from the crowd of officers. He nodded to JD and Nev. "Hmm. Your children have caused quite a commotion. What is your preposition we do?"

JD smiled. "Let us go with a firm warning?" he asked, nodding his head. His gaze turned a little bit more stern as they fastened onto Narayan- not that it helped. The boy didn't seem to notice. He was just too amused at the scene they had all caused. "I promise, the kids will be dealt with on the way home."
The word however, had the elephant boy look up. Wow. Was this more serious then he had thought? After it had been decided nothing serious had gone wrong, Narayan decided to enjoy this moment for all it could give it- how often did ugly people in dark uniform come out like this out of nowhere?
Maybe he should visit some more of these art galleries while he was at it...
Holding back a snicker, he watched Roule. Hey, that boy looked cute! Maybe he could learn from Roule, since... well.
JD looked angry too.
