*Aldora backed away a little before returning to where she was before it was noticed. She watched the male and turned her head away a little.* "Howl? Strange name isn't it?" She ask before shaking her head. "Don't answer that." *Turning a little she opened her wings a bit before folding them back to her sides.* "So you won't fly even if it means your life? Sounds like a cruddy promise." She grunted looking back at Howl, nosticing the sleeves of his coat flapping in the breeze.

Howl nodded his head slightly. "Correct. I can't fly, even if I wanted to. My wings are pretty much useless," he said in a soft voice. He turned his gaze away from the female Nequus, not caring if his coat was rippling slightly in the wind. He fluttered his wings slightly again as he turned his body at an angle away from Aldora. "So, Aldora, what brings you out here?" he asked her curiously.

"Traveling, heading for the mountains of Fire where I go a lot. The heat keeps the bugs at bay, more then here." She said annoyedly as her tail snapped at the flies that gathered over her back. "Annoying little things if you ask me." She said with a small smile gracing her face. "If you're that lost I can lead you out of these woods." She said stomping a hoof in the stream causing water to spring up and splash any and all that were near. "That is if you want the help."

Howl glanced at her curiously before turning his gaze towards the sky. "Mountains of Fire, huh? Sounds...interesting." He pawed at the ground for a few brief seconds before tilting one of his ears towards her. "You can help me get out of here?" he asked her curiously, his gaze still at the sky.

*Raising her head up a little she opened her wings.* "If you aren't scared. I've traveled through these woods a lot and know pretty much the whole lay out. Though there are some cliffs, unless you're a very good jumper, you best use your wings to at least glide across them." She said watching Howl. "You can glide right?"

Howl shrugged slightly and turned his gaze towards an opening between two trees. "Can't say. Haven't tried that...yet." He glanced at the other Nequus and slowly started to walk towards her. "It couldn't hurt to try it, though," he said in a soft voice.

"You are a strange one aren't you?" she said flapping her wings a little and hovered a couple feet off the ground before settling back down and folding her wings to her sides.* "Well which way you heading?" She asked stepping to be at Howl's Side, restraining herself from taking flight.*

"Anywhere other than here," he told her, a hint of blandness in his voice. "The moist air here maked my coat dry out and wings sensitive to anything." He fluttered his wings slightly and gazed up at her as she hovered a few feet off of the ground. "You may think I am strange now, but once you get used to me, I am not that strange at all. People just midread me and think I am either a strange Nequus or a bad one.

*Aldora nodded lightly and stalked off toward the west. where the air was possibly drier then the forest.* "As for being strange, I meant it in a good way. Strangeness is good, like uniquness." She rambled as she walked, black tipped tail flicking from side to side again. "Come on, or I'll leave you behind..."

Howl nodded his head and started to follow her. Sighing silently to himself, he lowered his head down slightly and pulled his wings slightly out from under his coat, causing it to bunch up slightly. 'Strange is good?' he pondered to himself.

*Tossing her mane about again she picked her eay through the trees. Once and a while look back at Howl out of the corner of her eye. Looking forward again she jumped over a bush and well... Nearly broke her neck before she could opened her wings and get back to the other side.* "That's new. That ditch wasn't there before." She muttered arching her neck a little to look at the large hole in the ground.

Howl stopped in front of the bush and looked over it to see the hole. "How strange. This shouldn't be here," he said softly. Snorting, he backed up a few inches and started to go around the bush, trying to find a new way to get to Aldora.

*Pacing the other side of the hole she looked at it with a curious eye, how could a hole just suddenly appear. Shaking her head she walked a little ways down and noticed that the hole narrowed.* "Over here Howl. I think you can jump over right here. The hole seems to narrow somewhat." She called looking back at the male. "If not, then this is your chance to see if you can glide."

Howl nodded his head and slowly walked over to where the hole narrowed. He gazed at it for a few monents, trying to decide what to do. 'Too large to jump, but it might be small enough for me to carefully glide over.' He pawed the ground a few times before slowly walking back a few feets.
He pawed the ground once more before quickly cantering over to the hole. One foot away from the edge, he swiftly unfolded his wings and started to glide over the hole. He glanced down for a few seconds before staring ahead at the other side. Carefully, he landed on the other side, a few inches away from the edge of the hole. He kicked out his hindlegs at the hole before trotting over to Aldora.
