Del hopped onto the table and shifted about getting comfortable, it wasn't always easy to be comfy when you had a tail like hers. She grinned at kat's question " It's a manga about the starlight season in sailor moon, the starlights are much more mature than the regular scouts even if they have really inappropriate outfits."
While the girl herself was slowly maturing her desire to read about and be a superhero had not dulled she just didn't express it outardly as much as she once had. Someday though she and her dragon would show them all that superheros weren't just cartoons or anime that they could be real.

"Really?" Kat chuckled at the innapropriate outfits part. impressed byt he more mature talk of the young girl... It was always cute. "It sounds very interesting, I'll have to read it. Look at the wall please." she pointed, pulling out the vaccination when she did. Her don't look at the needle part had worked well for Ala, so she hoped it would do the same for Del. With that she put her hand over the girl's arm, to sheild the view of the needle. "Alright, you ready? You'll just feel a slight p***k." She waited to see if the girl was ready... She did seem confident enough though. SO Kat didn't think there would be much of a problem.

Del nodded calmly "I'm ready" she said staring at the wall. She was going to be brave but she didn't really want to see the needle go in her so she was glad she didn't have to look.
"Do the dragons ever have to get shots ?" She asked curiosuly. She thougth it would be rather funny to see a doctor tryign to put a dragon on an exam table .

Kat easily and skillfully slipped the needle in, injecting the first vaccination, then switching the tube for the next. Kat once again was thankful for the one-poke, and alot of vaccinations method. "Actually they do..." Kat chuckled some keeping conversation up as she went. "Even the oldest ones can be real babies about it sometimes."

Del tried not to wince and decided that talking would help keep her mind off things " Do you give the dragons their needles? Do they ever bite you? What if they have really hard skin do you have special needles for them? What kinds of things make dragons sick." Now that her mind was focused on the subject Del realised that there was a lot she wanted to know about dragons before hers hatched.

"No, but my friend Blade does... he has a way with Dragons." She nodded, next vaccination... "We do have special needles for them, but even so we have to give them shots in their bellys. It's the only place we can get past the skin..." She frowned a bit, she was eager to teach the child but at the same time she didn't feel the discussion of painful stomach-needles was going to help the situation. Well, she was almost done, and if Talking was keeping the child's mind off her own needles.. She'd do it. "Actually, I heard there was a child who had to get the shot there too. He actually broke the needle." She suppressed a laugh, only letting out a light snort. She knew exactly who that had been before Madeline had even mentioned his name. She was jsut happy she hadn't met any Children as painful as Simon... Cody was getting up there, but his horns weren't in yet atleast.
Kat smiled as she finished the last, pulling the needle out and replacing it with a cottonball and a bright colorful bandaid. "All done!" She paused, givin g aglance back at Del's parent as she moved her file towards the counter, then pointed at the loli-pop jar with a questioning look.

Malen shook his head but smiled , he believed that rewarding a child for putting up with a basic fact of life could become crippling later. If Del came to expect rewards for simply doing what was needed she could become dependant on that fact and decide to refuse to do things if she saw no reward.
Oblivious Del nodded. She hadn't gotten an answer as to what made dragons sick but then again if Kat didn't give dragons their needeles than maybe she didn't know. Hopping off the table she looked at the door "Thanks for making sure I don't get sick, may I go home now?"

Kat blinked, a bit suprised when he said no but then paid it no mind. That was the reason she asked afterall. Covering hte jar by setting the girl's folder up against it, she turned back with a smile. "Yes, you may." Stepping foreward, she walked them out, only pausing once to pull Malen aside and drop a quick warning. "She may get a fever, use some childrens medication if it gets too high. If anything else happens call D-corp and we'll get you in right away." She smiled, turning back towards the rooms to fetch Del's folder and make her notes.

Malen nodded before taking Dels hand and leading her out of the room. He'd pick up some meds at the drug store on the way home just in case.
Del allowed her self to be lead away glad that getting her needles hadn't been too bad. She felt really bad for her dragon though, when it hatched it would get needles in the stomach.
