As soon as she saw her cub, the motherly instinct immediatly came over her and she padded a few steps towards the small female and lowered her head so her daughter would hear. Her golden eye's keeping an eye on this new lioness.
"Moto', come here." She said sternly, but she meant it in the nicest way.
She couldn't help being protective over her smallest daughter as she watched her, brows furrowed as she watched Moto'biata.

Repost:
The gathering of lions outside the cliffs couldn't go unnoticed, nor the scent that drifted upon the wind. It seemed familiar. Not hesitating the King set of at a rolling gait towards the gathering. Each paw placed kept the mighty King from tumbling head over heels when progressingdown the dunes while muscles propelled him up their sides with relative ease.
It didn't take long for Kimeti to reach the group of lions. Cresting the last dune he made his way through the small group taking care of stepping around the cubs that were far too interested in the newcommers to notice Kimeti coming through.
Golden eyes landed on Waka and a brow furrowed. He certainly had been around this lioness before but he couldn't remember when. Maybe sometime in his childhood? Had the lioness, like many others, left the pride due to the plague? "You." He said looking at Waka. "Who are you?" His voice had an intrigued tone to it as he watched the red-pelted lioness. Kimeti held a neutral position, but one that showed his current status within the pride. With held held high and body posture dictating his King status, he watched Waka carefully.
Why was she so familiar?

Nuri grew annoyed with the group, and as the king stepped in, she turned and stepped away. With her back to the newcomer, she passed the king and moved away, not really wanting to go into her past as she realized Waka would know right away just who she was.
Passing Kimeti, she paused in her steps and stared at him with dark eyes, before shaking her head, "Her name is Waka." Keeping it short and low, she moved her her tail back and forth, and once more kept her gaze in the opposite direction of Waka, smirking as she moved on, she passed the king completly before the smirk fell into a scowl. It was obvious that she was holding the conversation, and now that the king was there, she couldn't any longer, so she saw no use to be there either.
