I grew up with Spanish. I think English is harder than Spanish in many ways. Anyone agree or am I way off?

No, you're right on the money. I'm no expert in languages but I know English is the most difficult to learn. Especially with our slang spreading to new lengths.

Seraphim Luno No, you're right on the money. I'm no expert in languages but I know English is the most difficult to learn. Especially with our slang spreading to new lengths. And silent 'h.' I can't tell you how many times I've heard "honor" with a pronounced 'h' or "horse" with a silent 'h.' Heh.

I know a little because my brother and sister took Spanish in high school. And I used to watch a show called "Hola, Amigos." I started Spanish in high school, but got transferred out before my second class to a school that didn't have Language classes. Or Driver's Ed.
So I'm pretty much limited to "Hola, Como es ta?," "Por favor," "Gracias," "Denada," and a few food names. I sure couldn't hold a converation, I can't do that rolling thing, and I'm not even sure I spelled all of those correctly.
