"S-sorry." he apologize, his ears folding back and his tail tucking slightly. It was strange watching Ses play with his daughter, explaining things to her. It was nothing like how Usu envisioned Ses to be. He just laughed.
"It must be nice to have a daughter, mate, and a family." he spoke, watching Zaini play off nearby. She reminded him of Potevu a little, always active. The grey wolf smiled, "You're lucky."

Ses let out a long, annoyed sigh and shrugged. "Beh, it's not all that great Usu." In ways it was much more fun before he and Taj admitted their feelings for each other. Much less responsability. "You're just jealous." He snorted, rolling his eyes. "I tell ya, responsability isn't something to lose sleep over. Your day will come..." He eyed the other sceptically. "Well, maybe." Ah just like Ses, coat everything in some nails and his words twist their meaning.

"You're right, I am jealous." he said, admitting it. He had nothing to hide from his oldest male friend. "Heh, you're not taking it for granted are you?" he asked playfully, "They are your family, born from you and Taj." He laughed a little at Ses' uncanny knack for twisting his words. Usu was used to it. His eyes followed Zaini as she moved, he didn't want her to go too far from them, perhaps its just a habit he had with pups.

"Certainly not." He huffed and stood himself up, stretching. "I'd never take anything Taj gave to me for granted. Anyways, we gotta jet." His tail flicked and those words were his only goodbye, before he turned. "C'mon Zaini." He called out, and the little female ran to catch up with her father.

"Yeah, I should return to the girls. Good-bye, Sesere." he said, "Good-bye, Zaini." the wolf added. The two seemed good together, father and daughter. Usu rose to his feet and stretched out his back. So much for relaxing. The wolf shrugged and headed back to the den.
"Perhaps, I'll get something for them to eat too." He smiled and turned another direction.
