Hehe.. Funny you should ask.
That's actually the whole reason I've decided to "label" myself as bisexual. Well.. if you want to get nit-picky, I'm "Pansexual", a term explained to me by a trans friend. It means I am attracted to males, females and "any gender inbetween", meaning, as you guys know, trans people of all kinds (whatever reason you fall under that GIANT grouping...) and hermaphrodites. I was reading Gravitation, actually, when I was in 7th grade, and I was thinking about Shuichi and his "I'm not gay, I just dont care about gender" statement. I decided that Maki Murakami really is (as is in her family name) Kami! She had the right idea, so as a 12 year old little sevvie, I decided I wasn't going to limit my love by gender. If I cared for someone, I'd let them know, and If they cared for me back in the same way, no matter what gender or who they are, I'd be with them.
Therefore, in answer to your question, I think it shouldn't matter at all what gender someone is. People are people. You should like them for who they are not what they are.
Thanks for reading this long post (if you did.. hehe). This was my story of the beginning of realizing my attraction to those other than the male gender. I've not told it often.

I have to say that there are some kids who can handle such a relationship mentally around age 10 or up. However they are so few and far between that trying is ridiculous.

My philosophy.
Love that is productive and meaningful in whatever form is good. Love that is harmful or destructive to either participant is bad.
