Saki nodded and grabbed her bag.
"That sounds perfect." She said taking his hand in hers and opening her door. "Why don't we get some bento from the supermarket and take them to the park?"

"Sure. That sounds good," he said with a small smile. He wasn't sure what bento was, but he was glad to be getting away and spending time with her. She made him feel so much better. She made him feel more human than like a monster. As they walked out of the dorms he slipped his arm around her shoulders and held her close to him.
"Did you have a good day today amor?" he asked, glancing out over the lawns.

"I did." She said with a smile as the left the gates behind them. "I slept in, got up and spent most of the morning reading. It was a good day."
Leaning into him as they headed towards the supermarket she tried to think of a way to take his mind off what had happened earlier.
"What type of food do you like? For bento?"

"That sounds really peaceful," he smiled and rubbed his hand on her shoulder. When she asked what kind of food he would like, he gave her a bit of a sheepish grin. "Um... what is bento amor? I haven't heard that word before," he asked.

"A bento is a lunch box." She said, smiling up at him as they entered the supermarket. "They usually have rice in them and veges and fish. Sometimes they have different kinds, like Chinese style."
Leading him straight over to the bento section she pointed at the rows of plastic boxes.

"Ahh... I see," he grinned as he looked them over. "Um... I will just have what ever kind you like amor. I am not picky," he said, dropping his arm from her shoulder to take her hand in his. He ran his free hand through his hair and looked around as she picked out a couple. He paid for them and carried them as he led her out to the park and picked a spot down by the river. Lex helped Saki sit, then sat down beside her.
"The weird thing, amor, is that it's almost like it never happened. The only thing that reminds me that it was real is that my stomach is still a little tender," he said abruptly as he stared out at the river.

"It must be scary not knowing what you have done." She said opening the lid of her bento box and unwrapping her chopsticks. "Did it happen all your life?" She asked as she broke the chopsticks apart and started to eat some of the rice.

Lex blinked and looked over at Saki, then picked up his bento box and pulled the lid off. "Um... ever since I was maybe eight or so? That is the first time I remember seeing something bad had happened because of me. I had gotten into a fight and could not remember it," he said, breaking his chopsticks apart and stirring his food around a bit before starting to eat.

Saki watched him with concern. So long and no one had made him seek help, not even his parents, though they seemed like such a loving family.
"That's such so strange, and you have no ide what causes it?"

"Okay... so maybe I do. Sort of. Usually when I get very nervous or angry. Things will start to get fuzzy and then the next thing I know anywhere from minutes to hours have passed and I cannot remember a single thing. Sometimes I see what I have done... But usually there's just time that is lost. It is kind of scary to think about what I may have done and don't even know," he said, dropping his eyes away from her and eating slowly.

Saki bit her lip and smiled across at him.
"It sounds horrible." She said shifting closer and resting a hand on his leg. "But hopefully someone can help you."
Falling silent she looked out over the river. She couldn't imagine living with anything like that. Suddenly her life was looking incredibly simple and uncomplicated.

Lex set his chopsticks down and grabbed her hand in his. He gave it a squeeze and looked back out over the river. Smiling a bit, he leaned over and kissed her cheek.
"No more of this I think. Let's find something else to talk about," he said then let her hand go and picked his chopsticks back up. "Have you taken any more lessons from your dancing friend... um Scarlett?" he asked with a small smile.

Saki smiled, pleased with the change of subject and leand against him as she ate.
"Not yet, she has been really busy. Though I've been practicing." Grinning she ate some more and looked out over the river again. "You need to cook dinner for me." She smirked, turning to face him. "I just realised, you boast about your skill but have yet to prove yourself other than bacon and sausages."

Lex leaned his head down on top of hers and smirked at her statement. He looked down at her when she pulled away and ate a little more before answering.
"You doubt me amor? I am deeply offended," he smirked. "Of course I can cook. Maybe I'm just saving it for when you least expect it?" he said, tilting his head to the side.

Saki smiled.
"I don't doubt you." She teased returning his smirk "I just want to taste how wonderful it is, an I'm sure it will be worth the wait." Putting her bento on the grass she leaned across and kissed him on the nose.
"Maybe one day I'll cook for you too."
