Vince would attempt to catch the blade between his palms, if he didn't have the speed and strength to stop it that way, he would have a split personality. Yes, he was an agile fighter, inhumanly big and strong, but it was doubtful the desperate move would work, and even if it did, what then? He would be at a standstill with both hands working to keep the blade from bearing down through his face. If he could hold Vidunder to a brief stalemate, the woman would plunge a dagger into Vidunder's neck and twist, her other dagger would be aimed to go through the rib cage from the back and pierce the heart before he could attack. This was a big if, it all depended on one move and Vince's strength, speed, and stamina in comparison with that of Vidunder.
As for the twins, they were hauling a** in seperate directions, at their fastest maybe twenty kilometers an hour, but they kept going and mangaged to make some distant jumps to keep on the city roofscape. The last thing they wanted was a fist fight.
Carol couldn't get a shot at Vidunder, so he retrained his sights on ARDs and lined up a perfect head shot with the M15 sniper rifle, and fired an armor piercing round.

At this point, cameras were rolling. It was likely that no one other than the gang saw Vidunder bring himself back to life. And on that note, he didn't know if he wanted to reveal himself as the freak he was just yet. It would not be wise, he would decide. So, at the moment, he would see Vince raise his hands to grasp, and he knew the woman was on his heels. An adjustment was manditory.
Vidunder turned the blade, rather than forward, downward. This would force the momentum to lift the sword up and take Vidunder with it where he would polevault over Vince and lift off with blade in hand, landing behind Vince where he would swing about swiftly and attempt to cleave both around the middle, slicing them cleanly in half.
With any luck.
The younger brother remained on a Twin's tail, rushing from the rooftops in a mad dash to get to and gut the Twin. His blade was large enough to him to assist with his movements, and when he would be close enough to make some attempt at a swing, he would do so.
The eldest, on the other hand, chased his Twin down in more of a scare tactic. He didn't much care if the little rat got away or not, so much that he would know that attacking Vidunder was an act of suicide. This, however, did not stop the occasional attempts at stabbing him with his pitchfork.
ARDS was all that was left to cover, rushing about and destroying grunnies. At this point, ARDS would feel a blast from the air to his 4', headwise. The beastly series of chain snakes would look upward at Carol as the bullet would rip through what little face he had. The bullet ripped through his face and caused him to reel back, standing there in a perfect stun. The chain that was hit would be ripped free from it's place, and it would be cut in two with the bullet, which was now caught tight. ARDS stood perfectly still for a second or two, it's red 'eyeball' flickering, as if it was trying to figure out if it had died.
However, the deliberation was short, and ARDS quickly looked about, finding, of all things, a rear bumper that was ripped off in the opening blast of this little party. He would proceed to lift said bumper and look at Carol one last time before flinging it. Hard.
The intent was not death, but temporary elimination.
((This is OOC, because I seem confused now. There was eight, yes?
Heavy Arms, Vince, Knife, Carl Carol Bill, Twins?
Are Carl and Carol 2 people, or a typo? Am I missing someone?

((OOC:
Heavy Arms: Dead,
Vince: Against Vidunder. About to have the favor returned.
Carol: I think a typo for Carl that was confused for the woman and the names are far to similiar so we won't give her a name.
The Woman: Against Vidunder. Behind Vince.
Twins: Split up, On the run.
Bill: Pissing his pants.
Carl: Against ARDS))
Vince was sliced in half cleanly, split personality, but not before he pushed his girlfriend out of range of the attack. Vince wanted her to survive, but she held her daggers, more ready to die than ever.
While ARDs was stunned, an easier torso shot was lined up and taken. Then Carl would have to reload anyway, and would take cover on the rooftop he where he was doing so.
Meanwhile, the twins decided to lead the brothers somewhere they might have the advantage, seeing as the pursuit was not ending.

Vidunder dropped the blade when he saw Vincent (?) was clearly no more and took a second to step back and look over the situation. Chaos had come of a fairly routine mission. And it was blissful. But the time to wait and observe was far from this one, as Vidunder would get low to the ground and rush to get to where the lower half of his driver in Van One was 'seated'. There, he would reach for and pull free a rather large handgun. It was likely the size it was for scare value, but Vidunder didn't give a damn. He would again back himself away from the center of the chaos and find a target.
Both brothers preform the same action, following the twins.
ARDS took the second shot and stumbled back, but now he had a moment where he was simply standing. He knew the trajectory of the bullets now, even if he was down two snakes. He still knew the general location of his opponent. And so, he would vault himself onto the dead Van and get that much closer, his red eye piercing up at Carl, calling him out with a low, metalic moan.

[ Just Another Face ] Vidunder dropped the blade when he saw Vincent (?) was clearly no more and took a second to step back and look over the situation. Chaos had come of a fairly routine mission. And so, he would vault himself onto the dead Van and get that much closer, his red eye piercing up at Carl, calling him out with a low, metalic moan. The woman came at Vidunder recklessly, becoming his target, her daggers inches from his nose before the bullets finally sent her back, dead. The twins would suddenly turn and face their pursuers at some point, throw a flash-bang, and disappear. Bill remained under cover, repeating Hail Marys over and over again, odd, because that particular prayer was illegal in Ymiristan. Carl pulled out a 9mm, slugging it out with ARDS, his aim was superb, going for head shots with a pistol. But he was fighting for his life now, the assasination attempt had failed.

ARDS looked directly at Carl, his single red eye being grazed and splattered with sparks before he lifted his right arm, which housed what ARDS was made famous for. The only reason ARDS would ever use it on such a small thread would be that it had a new flaw that it never had before. A flaw that was, infact, Vidunder's fault. He was growing. And becoming more. He was getting something that any killing weapon on the level of ARDS would fear. A soul.
ARDS' best attack would have been totally painless.
"ARDS! Back down! We won this already!" Vidunder said as he tossed his gun to the side. The funny thing is, he never pulled the trigger, but the girl still lay dead as a door nail. The huge handgun was smoking at it clattered to the ground as Vidunder looked up and away from it. "Tell that p***y boss of yours... that he's a ******** dead man!"*
ARDS lowered his arm, looking up at Carl. Even without a true face, he begged Carl to leave.
Elsewhere, the brothers would stop and reunite with Vidunder in the road where the opponent decided to attack. At this point, Bill and Carl were the only know opponents still alive or not out of the contact zone. They were no longer engaging, so why attack them.
The four would clean the bodies up some until ambulance and police arrived. Then Vidunder would inform that that Ymiristan forces were attempting a coup before we had even begun. It was an act of agression to the people of Valus! Yaits wants those freaks out to kill everyone!
Valus would be up in arms against Ymiristan without question, and Genetic Horizon's was likely the folks to blame, making deals with the devil with the souls of Valus! Those bastards!
"...Isn't it perfect?"
The very next day, Vidunder and ARDS would board a plane and depart for Dur'em for another little project.

The silver Camaro growled to a halt just within sight of Valus, clouds racing overhead as the car idoled in park, the tall grasses of the plain swayed and danced in the slowly increasing wind.
The woman sat with her hand on the gear shift looking out over the sea of grass for a moment longer before she glanced once more at the child seated in the passenger seat besode her. "Storm coming in, we had best work fast... she will be very unhappy with us if it is pouring rain when she arrives..."
Icy blue eyes looked away from her tiny passenger as the wind kicked up another notch, whipping little bits of leaves and grass around the car.

"It can sence us... I don't think it likes you being here Lady..." the tiny girl brushed unruly hair out of her eyes as she continued to look out at the racing clouds, the Sun quickly dissapearing as the two watched.
"I'm not sure this is such a good Idea, she will not like being summoned at all...and this plain is very unstable weather wise. We sould leave before we tear the local systems all appart..." Deep purple eyes never even bothered to glance away from the clouds and the surging sea of grass before them.

"Don't be silly little one, the wind can not harm me... it only knows that I have come for what is mine, and with the help of the Kitsune we will be done very quickly... then you can go on with your studdies and I can get on with my life." She didn't bother to try and fight with the child anymore over the issue, that was simply the end of the discussion and she showed it by opening the door in a rush of wind that threatened to rip the door of the car right off its hinges.
stare Karasu growled softly to the wind and it suddenly stopped trying to rip appeart everything around the car. Light, even gentle little breezes tugged at her long black hair as she stood up, a smile crossed her face as she whispered her greetings to the wind as the storm continued to build outside the unnatural circle of calm air.

Muse sighed unhappily to herself as the tall lady stepped out of the car... she didn't agree with Karasu at all, and a part of her was still not entirely cretain about the woman, there was just something about her that didn't seem right all the time... and coming from another world herself the 3 1/2 foot tall 13 year old, had strangley never felt that way about any of the amazing people that she had met in this strange new world.
She popped the door open and slid out of the car into the strange circle of calm that the Lady had forced on the wind around them, glad that at least she would not have to worry about ebing blown away by the storm while they were trying to summon the newly embodied spirit of fire.
This was all such a bad idea...Musset shook her head with another sigh as she closed the car door behind her and started to head towards the empty plain, stoppeing at the outer edge of the calm area to look back at Lady Karasu. "You were right about the rain... if we hope to keep things civil between you and lady Hono'o we should get this spell over with as quickly as possible!"

Karasu nodded looking at the child with a slight smile as she ook a step away from the car, reaching up to the air almost as if she was going to pat a friend on the shoulder. "Watch the car for me, would you? I would not be happy if anything happened to it..."
The gentle wind tugged lighty at her hair as the unnatural circle of cal stayed put around the car, a smaller circle of calm forming around Karasu and Musset as the strange pair moved out onto the open plain, thunderheads brewing and darkening the ky above then until it was almost as dark as night around the city of Valus.
Karasu and Musset stopped a good 50 feet away from the shining metal skin of the camaro. The tall woman almost looked ghostly in the dark of the coming storm, her knee length black hair faning softly around her in the light breeze of her little circle of protection, her icy blue eyes looking down at tiny Musset as they faced eachother about 5 feet appart. Musset was almost hidden in the tall grass, her own dark purple eyes looking almost black in her taned complesion and the dim light.
Karasu nodded to the child as she looked up at the sky and spoke the first words of the spell, a shiver of delight crawling up her spine as she felt the power begin to build...

Muse brushed her bangs out of her eyes again ans Karasu started the spell, part of her wishing that the lady didn't need her help to do this... but then again she would not even be here if it was not for the strange Wind spirit... although there were days when the child was very confused as to wether or not that was really a good thing... She watched as Karasu paused for a moment, and with a sigh again Muse started to call on her own power, glowing blue and red characters building in the air between the two of them as she built the binding forces of the portal spell, actualy taking the time to make sure that they did not totaly mess up all the magical forces in the area with what they were doing...

Karasu watched at the child built the portal, leaving the transit open for the cordinates of the other end... this was the tricky part, it wa up to Karasu to actualy find Hono'o, to give Musset's portal a place to lock onto before dumping the Fire Spirit into their laps...
She closed her eyes and started to whisper to the wind, old words, words in a langue now spoken only by schollars and the occasional TV star in a clasical themed film... The wind remebered... the wind touched all places on gaia, well almost all places... The wind listened to a voice that it had not heard clearly in a few hundred years now, a voice that it had never thought to hear again.
Most humans didn't think of the wind as a being... all they thought of was the movement of atoms and molecules at the planet spun in it's orbit, if they bothered to think beyond messed up hair or blown leaf piles at al... but thw wind was old... much, much older than humans, and with most things born at the cration of the planet it had a strange sentience of it's own, and it has a memory that reached back to the cration of the atmosphere of gaia itself...
If you knew the right things to say, and the right way to say them.. one could easily comand the wind, it was really a very helpful element, and when the world was a thousand years younger Karasu had been a part of that element itself.. She had been the wind, the West wind of a small island to be exact, just a small part of a greater whole, but the wind was still happy to help her find what she sought now... especialy since who she was looking for had been tied to it until only a very short time ago.
The wind looked the face of the continent over in a fraction of a second, and then simply whispered back to Karasu the exact coordinated of the one she sought...

Musset paused for breath and then had to blink for a moment as Karasu almost seemed to dissapear in the roaring wind outside of the calm space that the lady had created only a few moments before.. it did not appear to last though as the woman quickly became more real looking again and started to recite the exact coordinates that muse was to plug into her portal.
The child quickly placed the new characters into her glowing spell outline, and with a shaking hand she drew a final charactor to close the spell...
The darkness of the coming storm was suddenly lit up with the glow of a blue portal as the spell activated...

*Hono'o had been happily minding her own bussiness again after her little fight with Evan in the stadium, the red fox exploring the forest around barton and not really bothering anyone... besides a farmer who was unlucky enough to spot her trying to steal one of his chickens... for his bad luck he earned himself a burned hand and a melted length of metal that used to be his shot gun* whee
*She deffinatly thought this to be a nice, if slightly odd, world. Full of too much technology in some places, but all in all it did not seem to be in perril of ending itself any time soon... Hono'o was looking down at her reflection in a still pool of water next to a streem as the wind around her lightly ruffled her long red hair, this face was not the same as the one she had been born with... these hands were not the once that had fought to save an empire from it's own destruction... and she knew that before too long the mind of this body would return from death's doorstep, and she would cease to exists... that didn't really bother her that much, before she had faced a worse fate, the world had found a solution to it's poblems without her help... and so the universe had plucked her out of that life and almost returned her to to a state of simple energy. no one would have remeberd her, no one would have ever cared that she was gone, it would have been as if she had never existed in that place.
And then Lady Raven had come along and offered her another chance to exists.. a chance to etch her name into history, even if it was only in records showing that she had lived, it was enough for Hono'o Raven, after all there was the chance that she could be more than just another name in a long list of people, and a chance was all she needed... That purpose would stay with this other Hono Raven, this other child of fire and heart would try her best to be remeberd long after the spark that was Hono'o had faded...*
*Hono'o looked up sharply as the air arround her suddenly grew unnaturaly still, the world seemed to stop for a moment, and then she blinked and stared with wide orange eyes at a wind swept plain, thunder crashed overhead and lightning streacked across the sky as the Fire spirit turned her head to the left to stare at a very real Lady Raven...* stare
