I have a house, but I forgot where it was. sweatdrop My house is as basic as basic can get, so don't expect a fancy pants house.

Mine is so basic its nothing but concrete because of the Inventory problem in the Editor! rolleyes

My house is in 9 Barton 002865. I was first in the zipcode! I was afraid of another land rush, so I grabbed the first spot I saw. Since I was first, I named the town Summerfield. It took 2 tries before I figured out how, so if anybody changes it I blew 1000 g. I didn't try to clear my house when it wouldn't update, so my home therater is still there, although some of it is floating.

I just checked my Towns favorites and entered Logopolis to check the sign. My screen shows it still says Logopolis.
When I placed my house, all the vacancy signs disappeared. Maybe you can only see them if you haven't gotten one yet. I didn't reserve any.

That's too bad.
I'd have to create a mule just to go searching for lots for my friends then--I wouldn't want to be greedy & take another lot. Besides, that way the Mule would always be able to see the signs.

Eirwyn I don't remember my exact address, but I'm in 2575 square 7, right beside the town signboard. I named the town "Logopolis"...although I suppose someone else willing to let go of the gold may have undone that by now. I didn't know you could name your town! But you have a point - why waste good gold when someone else can come right behind you and rename it? of course, if the name is permenant... Anyway, my addy is: 3 Barton 002835

For anyone still searching for a lot in Towns, here's a very helpful thread I found in the Homes forum.DirectoryI also found out it is indeed normal to no longer be able to see vacancy signs after you have placed your home. The person running this Directory thread is deliberately waiting to place a home so that she can continue helping others. 3nodding

My address is 7 Barton 2575. Having Town Name wars with the neighbors who recently moved in. Hey, some respect, please. I was there first.... grrr! It was originally named Tardis Town. Twerps came and changed to Query to Anchors Ta! Right now, I've renamed it Harmony... let's see if it's maintained.
Still can't put stuff in house. Went through and played with cache and cookies. Hope Gaia lets me decorate soon. Hate looking at my concrete box. sad

I'm just making sketches & buying bits on good prices while I wait.
I may make my place a Paint-Your-Own-Pottery studio someday. I still need a cash register, though. And I wish they'd put out some artist supplies for Homes; I suggested it when I sent my donation last week. A nice Coffee Can of Brushes would look very right on a table in a PYOP studio...!

Hey, there seems to be progress with the Homes Editor!
Annanoria noticed she could make & save a layout last night, & see at least part of it when she went to Towns & went to her home!
Yesterday I tried & sure enough, the Inventory is now loading again! blaugh
I made a layout & went to Towns to look at it, but I couldn't see anything there. If anybody goes into Towns, could you go check my home & see if you see anything in there? That's 7 Barton, 2575 (The Cloister Room, in Logopolis).

Mine is black and white themed (i.e. starter set themed sweatdrop ) + all the plants I won off Word Bump. Did you know you can't walk on the rugs you get in the starter set? scream It's infuriating! I had to take em out cos I couldn't walk around my room. Or perhaps that only happens with my rugs...
