O.o Mine is going to be made of actual wood.. If I can pull that off.... Trying to get my dad to carve the staff part and I'm working on carving the top part.
^^;; Her methods are MUCH easier. She made a "ghetto" staff. lol

You could also mold the staff top out of plastic. Try the thrift stores for the ball in the center. Anything that you want to "weild" together on the staff, two-part apoxy. Anything on the clothes: Welder's Glue. Tough stuff. I have a Kaiba costume where I had to glue little glass beads to it and the ones that I used Welder's Glue on haven't come off yet.
By The Way, I love those Xelloss costumes.
I love CosPlay!!!

Awesome costume, LiaFairyle. Love that cooking Xellos outfit. ^_^ I would make one too, but I have to get my existing costume finished. I need new pants for it... Still I have some pictures, here's one... I know I got the colors on the trim inversed, and I'll never forget it. Still, it's pretty obvious who I'm supposed to be, especially when I have my staff (which currently needs fixing since someone hit me over the head with it and broke the top in half) And what I'm holding is my collection of random Xellos things, including a little plush that I made. Not very good, but I wanted to show it to a friend of mine.

XD
The last one is my personal favourite. Ohdear.
I would adore to cosplay Xellos- but first of all, I'd need to find a big cosplay and a cosplay costume- next, I want to disguise myself as a normal guy first. (That'll be FUN. ^^) Not too hard, to tell the truth, except for my face- BAH, I'm sure some guys look feminine. As for my personality compared to Xellos's, I think everything would go smoothly... hehehe... *dreams on*

My dad who's an artist says that they look like girls without breasts. I'm not sure that I completely agree, but sometimes you really can't tell in anime until you hear their voice.

I just got back from a con where I was (pretty much) the only Xellos cosplayer there. Consequently, 9 people wanted to take my picture, and I was glomped by a fangirl. It was actually a lot of fun.

When I cosplayed as Xellos there were a few others, but everyone said that I had the best costime and I got too many pictures to count, it was an all around great cosplay time. I have one problem now, I broke my staff and brotch and I need to fix them to cosplay once again. Three where many fan girls glomping me and I had a Filia and Lina following me. That was the best con ever. This year I will go as HIro from Gravitation which should be an easy costume, but we're not here to talk about Gravitation so yeah.

Also I live in the middle of nowhere and the only anime people usually know about around here is Inuyasha, heh. I just went to another con, and this time three fangirls hugged me and 15 people took my picture. It's so funny how the fangirls squeal, "Xellos! I love you!"... that's just priceless... xd

I loved the picture of Xellos from Artemay Tower... A Houswife Xellos *starts laughing*. I've always wanted to make an acurate Lina costume but I have no sewing skills. *Sigh* And where they sell them they're expensive.

As soon as I get my pictures from otakon, I'll show you all. I could not walk without Xel' fans jumping me and taking my picture. At one point, I seriously got mobbed by some overly zelious fan sweatdrop I met up with a few other Xel' cosplayers, and there was a group running about as well. It was rumored that a Beastmaster cosplayer was running around with Dolphin, but I never saw her. crying I wanted so bad to glomp her screaming 'mommy' but I never got the chance . . .
