crying We don't get Asian TV where I live, but whenever I go to my auntie's house in the big city, I watch Korean dramas.
I saw this one recently, but I don't remember what it was called or about except for the fact that they had cool cell phones...^^;;;

i love L.A. they always show japanese dramas

I've watched Gokusen, Hana yori dango, GTO, Kimi wa petto...hmm... what else....uhm....that's pretty much it.
Not too much...since i'm new in the Jdorama fandom. whee

The only access I have to Japanese dramas is Ch. 18 (where I live.) But they don't play much Japanese dramas except on Saturdays and Sundays. So far I personally like Densha Otoko, Shopping Hero, Gokusen and Central Ikegami Police Force. I wonder what other dramas Kago Ai has appeared in?

lol, i heart Densha Otoko soo much! it's too bad they don't run it on the Japanese station we have here.
i've watched:
Densha Otoko
Kinpachi Sensei
Abarenbo Shogun
Musashi
there were a bunch of others, but i didn't watch them through like First Love, xLxIxVxEx, and Komyo ga Tsuji. i thought the Kinpachi Sensei series was really good, as was Musashi.

I've seen 1 Litre of Tears too
I cried so much when I was watching that
by the way if you translate the name directly from japanese it's "1 kilogram of Tears" not Litre.
Nobody use litre in asia

I'm not sure about how much this counts as a drama, but have you guys ever heard of Wakaba? I just watch it on my local japanese/ asian channel. It's all in japanese with english subtitles.

To add to the jdoramas i have on my list on my previous post are:
Nobuta wo Produce
1 Litre of Tears
Mukodono
(^o^) And I'm currently watching Gokusen 2, Kisarazu Cat's Eye and Stand Up! Quote: Nobuta wo Produce is so funny and cute! I immediately fell in love with Yamapi after watching this. 4laugh And they have so many catch phrases there! XD hahah, my sister and i always use them now. XD so addicting! "Kon", "Nobuta Power Enter" and "Bye-cycle" to name a few. I really love Yamapi's character here! Kusano Akira is the ever-so-lovable soya milk addict! Haha...anyway, great story and i love their friendship! I would consider giving anything to have a friendship like theirs! Quote: 1 Litre of Tears! Uwaaah~ this drama....is so sad! I cried my eyes shut! It gives you the feeling to be glad to be alive and healthy...(TT^TT) I love everything about this drama! The story, the cast, and the music! ...I love the story...how she fought until the end...used all her powers to write until she lost her ability to write. And it's even sadder to know that it's based on a true story...i'm sure Aya would be glad to know that she did inspire many people.
And Sawajiri Erika is such a beautiful great actress! She acted so well as Aya...(T crying T) and she looks so innocent (I was surprised to know that she was a gravure model). And she looks so good with Nishikido Ryo!
Next is the theme songs...So sad and tear-jerking. I like K's Only Human and Remioromen's Konayuki and 3/9...I loved the way Aya's class sung 3/9 on their school competition and when Aya was gonna leave the school...(TT^TT) Quote: Mukodono: Wasn't really as special as 1 litre and nobuta...but still, good drama! (n_n) The actor that plays Sakuraba Yuichiro makes me laugh everytime he acts foolish around Sakura, his wife, and then turns into a completely different person after they talk. XD haha...with just one slap. So cute...and they are just the sweetest couple XD haha... anyway, I also liked Aiba Masaki here (he's actually the main reason i wanted to watched this drama)...I liked his hair! And also i think that Arai Satsuki is so beautiful! (n_n)

I watched nobuta, 1L tears, gokusen 1/2, kimi wa petto, anego, hana yori dango and I started watching stand up! but then the rest of the eps got deleted D;

I watch Korean Drama a bit more, the only japanese drama i've seen is Live Action Sailor Moon and GalSa. But I LOOVEE Galsa and it's really different than any Korean Drama I've never seen.
