Misericordianeo Does this mean that Tanasha will be in both the ASDF and the GA question Won't that be a wee bit confusing question You'll be a Major in the ASDF and Head of the Branch, yet, you'll also be a Captain in the GA as Head of Security... Not my problem. 3nodding Now, the confusing part is that I can countermand my orders on my own authority. xd Misericordianeo Oh, will I get a promotion from this, I've been a Cadet all this time, yet that rank isn't even listed in the new ranking system... Lets go with private then, shall we? It's a step up after all, since Cadet has been pushed off the bottom of the chart.

oh, and for my rank... I was a Lieutenant before Tippmann made me a Lieutenant General and Head of my own Corp., so...
For the Official Record, please put that I was an Acting Lieutenant General, holding the status, title and privileges that came with that rank, until promoted.
This way my change in rank from Lieutenant General to Captain, is not in any way a demotion... neutral

Well, might as well toss in my concerns. I've turned in my application to the GN, but have yet to recieve a confirmation of any type of rank. I'm thinking of turning in my Gaia Account's Bio soon, and...basically, my question is.
What rank will I have?

The big problem right now is actually that we don't have enough people available for those two factions currently. I'm going to start working on sending PMs out to people... I've definitely noticed there are members of GA with the GA sigs still out there for example.
Ranks will be up to the officers of the branch...I'd say you should feel free to work up an officer background, since as far as I know, you'd only be the second member in GN. sweatdrop
Poor Chaos Seed only has Penden right now too.

Aside from running Nida and the upcoming D5 character, I'm seriously considering taking a pro- or antagonist position in the GA forum. Nida joined GA first, way back in the day, after all. 3nodding

I can understand the main reason for simplifying the rank structure. Its truely is a good idea. Though i always end up having some sort of question sweatdrop
Will the rank names apply for all branches? I can understand the ranks applying for the Gaian Army, but it would somewhat sound weird when applied to the Gaian Navy and ASDF. Since Navy and Airforce rank differes from Army ranks. It would be weird to call a Seaman or an Airman a Private.
Then again, i've been used to current military structures.
Therefor im asking, if it'll be applied for all branches?
Or would we just eliminate the complex rank structure of today's military and incorpate this one like it is?
Or using the same GNG structure but a change of few names accordingly to the branch?
I mean, even thought he Chaos Seed might not use ranking structure, if it did... it would be weird to call their minions "Pvt, Sgt"? They would go by names such a Henchmen or Lord Vader or something?
My apologies, im a person that gets really attached to the rank system sweatdrop
